Afternoon all on this (well..here) cloudy cool afternoon. Its in the 40's and I swear I saw a snowflake! The inlaws are coming over for dinner as well as my sister in law. That should be fun. We have a ham cooking! I went to the dollar store today. Every halloween I decorate my desk at work. People are waiting to see what it will look like this year. Hopefully this week I know if I have the job. Well off I go! They should be here soon! Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!

hey everyone. back from the excursion....It was a beautiful day. At this place we seen all different type of professions....how they used to be done back in the day....without all those mashines and electricity.....for example they showed how a blacksmith used to work, carpenters, taylors and on and on.....it was very interessting and impressing to us grown-ups......and for kandice it must have been out-of-this-worldish :D. then we went up to an old ruined castle and checked out the view from the tower of it....later on we went to have some nice dinner.......tasted yummy and the prize was good to for the amount of food that was on the plate.

I will put up some pictures tomorrow

You're welcome! I know what you mean! I wish they could talk, but I don't think that will ever happen! And thanks!

Have a nice time tonight and continue to have good thoughts about that job!

I guess I have really tired myself out. I actually slept all afternoon! That is something I rarely do. Guess I was really worn out. I did put up my decorations it's the inside that gave me trouble. Im not that good actually at decorations so my gf had to pitch in and it really looks better than last year. I went out and bought a few pumpkins and threw then out in the yard with some gords,it all looks nice I will post later! stay tuned!

Poor Wayne had another rough night. No throwing up but his stomach was bothering him real bad and he had heartburn. I stayed up with him a lot last night trying to take care of him. He told me he would be ok that I needed my sleep but I just can't do that if he is uncomfortable and hurting! I guess it's the "mommy" syndrome taking over.

We will not be going to church today and I am going to make him some homemade chicken and rice soup before I go to work. Hopefully that will settle his stomach.

HI hope wayne bes better soon. the chicken soup could do the job !! its hard to sleep when you know someone is not well. is heartburn not a sign of a stomach up. to much acid or something..

Good morning,

Began the morning with a taste of Christmas, a hot chocolate with a candy cane in it (took Made's suggestion from Countdown 2010 of saving candy canes from last Christmas), my boys loved it. It was LC's first time ever having hot cocoa, I think he has a new favorite. Just getting ready for my wife and I first date in months.

Hope you have/had a nice day just you and the good lady. nice just ti get away sometimes on your own as i couple. hot chocolate i love it. do you ever notice that once the dark evening start to set in . you think of the hot chocolate. its almost part of christmas season

So cool to hear that someone is getting snow already - can't wait for it here. We usually don't even see flurries until late November and then we're lucky if we see a small snow or two before Christmas. We usually get most of our snow here in Ohio in January and February although we dream of a white Christmas every and get one on rare occasion - we can always hope. Hearing of snow really starts getting me excited though!

Well a bad day for Dale Jr. Fans and Cowboy fans. Hopefully tomorrow night will be better but I don't have much hope.

I am a amateur "snow chaser"...I live where it snows once every decade, but I do live within a few hours of mountains that get snow usually after christmas... I have to admit I am already looking at 10 day forecasts to see if it will snow in the GA mountains...it actually did snow in NC a few days ago,and so I am getting all excited about taking a road trip to see snow again!

Same here - I'm a bit of a weather nut anyway so I'll start looking for snow all over the country and dreaming of taking a quick weekend trip to wherever it's happening. Dont get to act on that very often but once in a while we'll make a weekend run down to Gatlinburg when it's supposed to snow in the mountains and we'll grab some food at the grocery and spend the weekend in a chalet in the snow-filled mountains. Now that's a great weekend - especially if it's before Christmas.:-)

Im a HUUGE weather nut..to the point I plan on moving in 2 years to a completly different climate. Maybe I will be sick of snow then..But I dream of living on a farm up north and sitting in the living room looking out to see it snow.ahhh

Good evening guys! I am sitting in the living room with my doors open letting in the cool autumn air. I am gettting butterflies in my stomach thinking about going back to work. One of our planes crashed last week and I dread having that happen on my watch...I work in air traffic control and I love it,but there have been a few times I haave had my heart go up into my stomach, but luckily I have never had a crash happen. I will be fine once I get back into the swing of things. I found out today that my brother in San diego will be visiting me on my 37th birthday in december 2nd. And tomorrow I start the childbirth classes with brandi,so that should be an adventure..Have a good night everyone! it's suppose to get down to 42 here..I may turn on the heater, last year I ran the heater for the first time Oct 16th!

vsuclaribnl: I'm pretty sure that when you find the right wedding dress, you will know it! In the meantime, enjoy trying on all the other ones that catch your fancy.

I am! Don't know if I've quite found "the one" yet...but I am really having a blast trying! =D

Yeah That is what I was thinking...NEGLIGENT...my sis is a nurse practitioner and she says she has seen it happen herself the anasthesilogist(sp) will intubate the patient and rupture the vocal chord and a blood vessel and she has even seen patients die...It's really scary but that is why there are always like one in a thousand chance of something going wrong even with a minor surgery. With all that being said you sign your life away so unless they really really mess up is'a hard to proove neglience I think...but I'm no lawyer hehe:)

I reeeeeeeally hope I don't have to go to a hospital anytime soon...this whole story has scared the crap outta me. I am really glad she's doing better though, dawg!

Thanks! Oh....I bet you love working there! I bet it's sooo much fun! Thanks about Ella too!

I do love working there but it is verrrrry hard not to spend money!

I hope your first day back goes well! I know you'll think about the crash (none of my VSU friends mentioned that to me...I'll have to catch up with them!) but try to put it out of your mind - you will do great! Hope your childbirth classes go well, has Brandi been going to them long? And I totally can't believe it's that cold in south Georgia already! When I lived down there, I don't think I turned the heat on til mid-late November! Maybe you WILL get snow down there this year after all! =)

Good evening, everyone!

It was a productive weekend. Kim and I did some cleaning yesterday - Kim actually did a lot of cleaning. The apartment is smells very nice! Yesterday was a day filled with running sprints and throwing for two hours, followed by an evening at a friend's house for some dinner and festive fall treats! To say that it was delicious would be a complete understatement! I guess I could consider it a prelude to this next weekend when we celebrate Thanksgiving... However, I will be in Boston next weekend for a tournament. My fingers are crossed that Kim will bring back some turkey, pie and all the fixings from her mom's house. I could really use some!

Today, there was a nice workout at the gym and I made some delicious ribs in the oven. ... Oh, and a Packers victory! Great to see the Pack go to 4-0. Hard to believe that the Lions are 4-0, too. Should be an interesting year in the NFC North! Great to see the Detroit Tigers defeat the Yankees in Game 2 of the ALDS! Hopefully they can continue their ways when the series returns to Detroit!

No Christmas findings yet. I believe I will go to the mall on Tuesday to inspect the Christmas situation at the Rideau Centre! Well, time to watch some TV with Kim and Mike... I'll be around later! Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Ella goes to the vet on Weds of this week. I will hopefully have an update then. The lump hasn't grown at all. I will keep everyone updated.
Sorry I missed the post about Ella. (I have been missing a lot of post). I hope she will be fine!

He is feeling much better. I just hope I don't catch it!

I would love to move in a snowy state too. I want to stay long enough to get sick of it then maybe I would like it here in Texas. =)

I hope you feel better once you are at work. That is a risky job!

Hey everybody, we had a productive weekend I guess, the weather was 65-70 degrees so we were outside doing work. mowed the lawn, bathed our 4 dogs, & tried to trim shrubs but I'm afraid we've let them go too long & we actually had to use a chainsaw to cut through some of the limbs. Mowing wasn't easy either, the riding mower isn't running so we push mowed. Now I know people do this all the time but our yard is about 2 acres! I haven't cut so much since I was a kid. My kids were around today so that was really great. I love spending time with them. Lots of laughing. They still live @ home but are always gone & busy. The Panthers lost today but Cam Newton is still getting good reviews from the sports guys, atleast they're doing better than last year! I've been looking on my outings for signs of christmas but only have found it @ work.(in a flower & gift shop)we've been very busy decorating.
I hope everyone has a great week.

Hello all!

I've had a pretty great weekend! Football was good to me this week...Penn State won and Ohio State lost!!! :) The Giants won, the Colts haven't played yet (and Kerry Collins needs to complete LOTS of td passes to Reggie Wayne so I can win my fantasy matchups, haha), but the Steelers lost...so we're still in the positive as far as that goes! DF's fave team the Jets play tonight, but I probably won't watch it much since I have to be into work at 5:15 tomorrow morning.

Plus the Amazing Race is on tonight and since we missed the premiere last week, that will automatically take precedence over football. =)

DF and I went over to a friend's house yesterday to visit them and their daughter (our "niece"). DF asked the husband to be in the wedding party, so now EVERYONE finally knows and we can publicly publish our wedding page (we didn't want to do it before the entire party knew, lol). The wife is one of my matrons of honor (the one I asked last week who burst out crying when I asked her), so it was really good to get all four of us together again to hang out. Our niece is growing up so fast - she's finally crawling and boy does she get around FAST! She is just a doll when she smiles.

Also, we found out our very close friends B&P are expecting! We are over the moon, as we have been pegged as aunt and uncle to the new baby/babies. Also because they have been trying for over 6 years, gone through every test and taken every medication possible and to have them tell us they were finally pregnant...well it was probably the best news we could've ever gotten! But they do think they could have twins or even triplets because they had put P on fertility meds to increase the chance of her getting pregnant. They are ecstatic though and so are we!

Time for the Race so I will bid you all goodnight! <3

I can't believe the Lions are 4-0 either! I'm not saying I'm jumping on their bandwagon but if they go to the Super Bowl, I very well might root for them (as long as they're not playing the Colts or Steelers!)!! Their comebacks are becoming legendary!

Also glad to see a Tigers victory!! Would love for them to seal the series in D-town!

might stay u al n all night not even tired.. not sure why,,,, hmmmm more Latte please,,,

YABBA!
