I'm sitting at the shop, waiting on my car. Apparently the issue is relatively minor. Oddly the bar that I hit under the car by driving over a stump isn't even really necessary. Thank goodness!! It did cause me to break my exhaust mount though. Luckily they're just going to weld it back on. The ultra crappy part is that I cracked the transmission that I just had replaced a month ago. Luckily they said that the way it got cracked isn't that huge of a deal and isn't leaking so not to worry about replacing it. But the car is still on the lift so we will see how it all pans out ultimately.

When I finally got there, I found a house full of family and no chicken left!!! :sad: Oh, the humanity!!! I had to make a meal on green beans and mashed potatoes & gravy. Maybe next time.

BOOOOO. I can't imagine that. No one saved you a single piece? Sounds like my family! Hah hah.

Oooh, I made it her just in time this week to let you all know that I'm coming to the Pines & I'm bringing a new (to me) coffee - Hazelnut, Praline, Cinnamon! It's heavenly! I'll be there shortly! :grin:

Brad - very cool story about Luke Bryan! But sorry to hear about the chicken! Isn't that just the luck!? :lol: Hopefully you won't whither away!

Okay, I'm not big on scented lotions and soaps---but my co-worker was using a Christmas-scented hand lotion that was more subtle than bold, and I asked about it. Her mother makes it, along with Christmas-scented soap. It's scented with vanilla musk, balsam, pine, cinnamon, and cloves, and it's ... Christmassy!

it is such a beautiful day here. Finally got the flower beds in front of the house cleaned out. Looks much better. Fits in with the fall theme thing now!

Need to walk over to the church and pick up all the stuff for operation Christmas child. I get to be in charge of the event this year. Did it two years ago and it was so much fun!!

I have been fretting about having a cavity for a few weeks now... been having pressure on my top teeth. Went in yesterday and no cavity! Just a sinus issue? Who knew! Explains the headaches, though! AND the dentist said I DO NOT have to get my wisdom teeth out! Yahoo! They've given me a hard time about it for... years (oops!) but 3 out of 4 of them grew in recently and they aren't an issue ,the dentist says!

HOORAY!!

I am so glad it wasn't actually a tooth !! Sinus problems can be so excruciating though.......Hope you feel better xo

Then Nancy called to say she was bringing home KFC for supper...I love that extra-crispy chicken!! We were planning to eat with her parents. Hi all and good morning. Joe and I went up to see his mom yesterday and she was doing well. They took out all the tubes and said IF she felt up to it she could come home today. Do not know if that is in the works this morning but she may choose to stay up in Durham for another day, that might be a good thing to be honest.
My cold has gotten a bit worse, now I am all yucky in the sinus way. But taking stuff for it seems to be helping.

I hear ya !!! My car is a 1993 Honda and has had several things that had to be worked on......!! Praying that your car is on the mend with no further expense !! xo

I am so disappointed.......Warner Brothers has announced that after December 29 of this year it is DISONTINUING any further new shipments of the Harry Potter film series !! For those who like the films, it is a tough pill to swallow. I have all of them but DVDs do not last forever. I guess if something happens to one of them I won't have it any more......This stinks !

Almost made it all the way through my shift with no problem last evening then I had two "regular" dictations that were not radilogy. The docs on those were in serious danger of inflicting Gooberrhea !!!!! Geesh ! But I made it through w/o being affected.

I did a big long post this morning and the site would not post it so I lost it.....Grrrrr I don't know happened but I have copied this one so I can paste it if that happens again.

Our weather too took a turn last night for the better we have beautiful blue skies the sun is warm on your face it is about 72 it feels more like mid September, I am enjoying it today.

So update on the TD job. I didn't get it. They said that everything was perfect but they wanted someone with more sales experience. I have been doing a sales job for a little over 2 years now. Sheesh. That's all I have to say about that. LOL. Try try again!
