Well I'm going to have an early start tomorrow so I'm headed to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!

good morning homeboys and homegirls...the sun is out, but the clouds are already coming...it is getting colder and rain will come on later....oh how i love fall....I am going to start doing the house soon....arranging the house, vacuuming and then washing the floors...and then we might go to mannheim to check shoes and stuff and stuff for Kandice her in the Afro Shop and then go grocery shopping....i wish u all a beautiful day

Well my Niece went to school and made it all day but when she got home my sister noticed that she has started to break out in the rash again.:-(
Poor girl!
Thanks Christmas-A-Holic, going to try to keep up with this thread, a little lost on some of it but will catch up eventually lol
Not to worry, I am a little lost and can't keep up on here even though I am on here everyday! This thread is busy! cheesy
And with this post, CAH is poster #21,300. For her efforts, she wins a brand-new fax (just got it this morning) advertising vacation packages with airfare included!!! How lucky can you get???
Wow! I am very lucky! Thanks!

I remember getting those types of faxes, nearly 15 years ago. The problem was, we had our business fax machine set up in the office right off our bedroom. It wasn't much fun getting woke up at 3 am to a fax machine telling us about these vacation packages. Those machines made a lot of noise when the house is real quiet.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is a chilly morning here in central Indy but we are headed for the mid 80's this afternoon. I am gettting ready to head out to my sisters house and then over to the fall festival. I'm thinking a deep fried milky way for breakfast sounds good. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That made me gag a little.

The Texas State Fair is going on right now and we are known to fry EVERYTHING! The big hit a couple of years ago was fried butter.

Have fun today!

Yay, a Saturday that isn't filled with things I have to do. I can relax and do whatever I want, it's nice to have one of those days sometimes! Happy weekend everybody!

Hard to believe it's Canadian Turkey Day long Weekend already!!

And with the weather calling for big blue skies and over 70 degrees, it doesn't make you think about Xmas much, at least not yet but that will come soon enough.

Off to a family supper in the mountains where the trees will be all colorful.

Have a nice long weekend for those that have it.

Cheers!!

ML

Good morning everyone,

Quickly posting before some big games today. The tournament (for us) begins at 10:30. We're staying in the city of Leominster, MA and playing in the military barracks of Devens, MA. The forecast looks to be beautiful. Temperatures into the lower 80s!

Sorry that I missed yesterday's milestone. It looks as though it was a wonderful one. Homestretch, here we are!! I had no time between going to teach tennis lessons and then driving down here.

Have a great Saturday, everyone!

Good Morning MMC!

Going up to 25c today, blue sky, a nip in the air this morning.
The celebration of Marilyn's life is later this morning. She will be so missed.

Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning, Christmas family, and a big Happy Thanksgiving to my neighbors to the North and East!

I don't have time to catch up on the Countdown, but I wanted to wish everyone a very MERRY Saturday - I hope the day is an amazing one for each and every one of you!

Oh, What a Wonderful Weekend Morning, Christmas Friends and Cyber Neighbors!

The Crowns are back from the coast and all is well at the cottage.
Just got the needed work done in time for the arrival of our fall/winter tenants tomorrow!

'Star!! Bang-up Countdown job! LOVE the graphic!
(In fact I saved it to my documents. It may reappear in the future, with your permission of course.)

Speaking of the countdown:
Days to the Season: 36
Days to Christmas Day: 78
Hey! We're into the last ten percent of our count.
Just think about that for a minute - TEN percent. (We can do that standing on our heads!)

Nippy here with the starting temp this morning at 51.
Bright and sunny, though, with predicted highs in the 70's
Beautiful for early October!

Bing. I guess you missed my posts on the special pre-Season schedule.
Yes, you have Day 4 before the Season starts on Nov 13 (Nov 9).
Lauriebear is down for day 3 (Nov 10) and Seawaters has taken day 1 (Nov 12)
Days 2 and 5 remain open.
And with all the fantastic explosion of interest and number of members, we should perhaps consider expanding the special day post list to more than 5 days! What do you guys think?

You have a Sensational Saturday, Folks.
Start enjoying the last leg of our trip to Christmas Season 2011.
It will pass faster than you think!

good morning all. Sorry I have not posted recently.
My mom in Law came home Thursday and is settled in at her house and when I spoke to her yesterday she was doing ok, in some discomfort and has a cough if she talks too much, but overall ok.
My cold seemed to be going away then this morning it came back with a nasty vengance (guess it did not like what I threw at it). So I am going to get some stuff done around here and maybe go take a long nap. It was in the upper 40's here this morning at 6am and is supposed to be in the 70's today.
I hope everyone has a great day.:nice::cold::merry:

Excellent idea! Another idea: have two posts per day.

Good fally Saturday morning, Christmas friends. I am heading out for school again to finish unpacking the last of the boxes and to finish up lesson plans through February, at least. I love our new curriculum, but I do not like having to redo lesson plans. I guess that's what I get for being organized this year!!! Made, save me a fried Milky Way!!! Hmm. I wonder if they have candy-aide like they have lactaide???

Just throwing in my two cents....

Personally, I love the five days and having that one person post. I look forward to it!

But I agree, Crown. With such a large number of people coming, maybe we could have a day 6 and let all those who would like to have a special post speak.....or maybe we can see who all wants to have one....and have 10 days...or maybe let them post on the 13th when the season is here (so that we technically aren't messing with the special posts because of tradition)...I dunno...but I like your thought. I would love to have one, but I certainly want to see those who have been here before me get their turn. I feel that Binger, Jayish, Johnor, Auntie, Christmasstar, Brad, and you have more of a right for a special post than I because you have been here. Coming up with a way for everyone who wants to would really be neat....just my thoughts....

But I'm gonna be here either way! Won't hurt me if I don't get too....

I appreciate your thoughts, BUT, this is OUR forum and not just the forum of a few; so there is a place for us all. I do love doing the countdown special post, but I will step aside for anyone who would like to give it a try. It is a fun and nostalgic look back at the way we were and a look forward to what might be!!! And we all have precious thoughts to share! Even Carl! Besides, I could post it as a blog and free up space in the special posts.

I hope I did not come across as sounding bossy, but I just wanted to convey the thought that I have no more right to being a special poster than anyone else. I love reading the posts and am always amazed at how we write our special posts from different parts of the world and at different times and they blend so beautifully. It is just amazing and Christmassy magical!

Hey Christmas family!
Sorry I haven't been here in a long time. Things have just been crazy around here. I am back now, hopefully, for good. I have really missed this place. Coming here makes me happy.

I am ready to start decorating for Christmas. Hubby says I have to wait for a few more weeks, though. LOL! I saw some very cute decorations that I plan on buying. I am so excited.

I hope you all are well. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Take care and I will talk to you soon.
