Good afternoon, MMC! Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words about EA's eye. It does look a little better this am. I had put to reply all in a multi message to all the messages since last evening, but I kicked myself out on accident and I need to get some things done around the house, so I don't have time to type all of that again - so sorry!

Anyway, not too much going on here today. The kids are at daycare - they are there for one of the two days that they have to go every week. It's pretty quiet around here right now! I am going to turn on Christmas music while I work! I have some errands to run later this afternoon. Other than that, not too much else. Someone had asked about trick-or-treating being Thursday and I am not sure who it was - sorry - but yes, in my area, it's always the Thursday before Halloween for some reason. They used to always do it at night, then they changed it to Saturday during the day for safety reasons, now it is back to night again.

Well, I guess I beter get some things done. I hope everyone is having a great day. I hope to be back on at some point this evening. I work at 11 tonight and will have to catch a nap before work, so who knows if I will make it back on or not. If not, I hope everyone has a great day/evening!

I meant to mention I saw a deer on the way home yesterday from work..They always make me nervous because I totalled a car in high school from one running out in front of me..they get scared and sometimes run right into the vehicles...not a very pretty sight indeed. But the one I saw yesterday was running down the railroad tracks by my house.
I have an hour and a half left and I am ready to go. I just want to get in my car and drive somewhere on a road trip it's so nice outside! Have a good afternoon everyone!

Hello my Christmas friends! It's a beautiful day in Ohio, but Old Man Winter is on his way...should arrive tomorrow! It's almost 70 today...calling for a high in the 40's tomorrow!

I took pictures of my great niece & nephew last night for Christmas cards. They turned out so well! Can't wait to see the cards! They did great...though they didn't want to look at the camera, I got some fun shots of them playing, etc. I did get a few good ones of them together, & plenty of good ones of them individually. So, so cute! My niece teaches gymnastic classes& she said one of the girls in her class told her they have their Christmas tree up! Yippee!

At lunch today, my elderly neighbor lady was outside putting up her Christmas lights! :wiggy: It must be getting close!!!

MsChristmas - will keep you in my prayers. I hope your surgery goes very well!

lunchtime is here...same ole same ole for me..Turkey sandwich and an apple. I hope the afternoon passes as fast as the morning has. I am seeing more and more Christmas commercials on the tv. I imagine they will really start up full force after monday. I don't know what we are doing for dinner tonight. I ate chicken and rice yesterday and I do not want to see chicken any time soon! Have a good day,and to all that are talking about seeing a few snowflakes soon...I am jealous.

Is that the "tiny turkey sandwich?"
Maybe you will get some snow this year.

Today I woke up feeling nervous for no reason... maybe it's because we are handing in the key to our old apartment on monday, it feels rather strange, even though it feels like we have already said goodbye to our old town...

on the plus side, i am going to chicago next month! 4 days of sightseeing and a little bit of shopping. this holiday is long overdue, we have saved for 3 years for this break. we go mid november, i hope it's festive!

Big snow in Boulder today. It's so pretty! I finished my first Christmas Mix of the season this morning, and my excitement is starting to creep in. YAY!!!

WOW, way cool, I know I 've been listening all week to my Christmas Mix CD LOVE IT!!!!!

It was very tough ... we were debating on whether to tell her or try to get one more year but we felt it was best to be honest with her since we we really promote being honest/no lying in the our house. Plus we didnt want the other kids at school to give her a hard time over this.

I bet, sorry you had to, it is tough when it happens I bet.

There were a couple others, but this was the nicest one! I went back yesterday and cleared away that limb that's in the picture. I think this is so cool!

That is a cool photo the CAM caught, I think I might need one to "check on" my furry brood left at home, I know they are doing all sorts of bad things while I am away, like digging in my plants, messing up the bed, spilling their water dish you get the picture... Tee Hee no pun intended!!!

On to Christmas decorations...Do any of you wrap garland around a railing/on a staircase? I do every year, but never do lights because of the cord issue. I usually do the pine boughs ( rustic ones with snow, pinecones, and berries) and weave in some festive ornaments. Every year, I look for a solution with the lights. Do any of you have any advice? Is there a way to hide the cord under the railing? The other issue I have is that there's no convenient plug-in, and I don't really want a long extension cord. Hmmm...

I am home and cooked pinto beans and decided that I would just cook some hamburger meat and add pepper and tomato and chili sause and whaa laa--it's like way too hot though.. I added way too much pepper. I bet I will have to throw it out...should I warn Brandi or let her find out herself and then I will own up to it? see I'm not use to this kind of stuff. what to do what to do....

I am scraping together some money to go get some chips and drinks at the grocery store,pay day can't come soon enough..August and October are really the longest months you have to go through! I have decided chilli and chips would be better than just chilli.(mainly because it's too hot to consume alone) heck since it is weds night I might buy a bottle of wine and get crazy at the pines tonight.yeeehaaa! have a good night everyone!
