My dad and I went to one of the malls around these parts today. I did not spot any major Christmas signs. A little disappointed, but oh well... I am sure that will change in a few days.

Work tomorrow calls for sleep now. The weekend may nearly be over, but this work week will bring us so much closer to The Christmas Season! Have a great night, everyone!

Wow it's such a slow day around here...anyone out there? I am about to turn in and finish some reviews that are due in tomorrow for work,then read and watch tv in bed. I hope and pray tomorrow will be a good day at work,to be honest last days of the month are hellish plus mondays are hellish,so it will be double hellish...but at least It should go by fast. Have a good night all.

CM3-if you can't sleep tonight and I can't I guess I will pal around with you tonight...but maybe we will be okay!

I know we're better off than the folks who lost their electricity AND got a foot of snow, but I'm tired and discouraged. At least we have a comfortable room to spend the night in, at a reasonable rate. We're even close enough to home that if we've forgotten anything, we can drive over and get it.

Evening. It's Halloween and my suburb is like a ghost town. I don't celebrate Halloween, since it's not popular in Australia. Right now, I'm watching Paranormal Activity. Not scary. I mean, I love horror movies, but what I am watching right now doesn't scare me one bit. Just about to jump in the shower. Getting ready for a night of relaxation. Ciao.

Happy Halloween!!! I slept crummy but never got out of bed until 4am. I just woke up every hour on the hour and the phone rang at 230 and scared me to death,wrong number of course. But I always think the worst when that happens. anyway I think we are going to have cloudy skies today which is the perfect halloween forecast if you ask me! I have to go back and read any new posts after I logged out last night... have a good morning everyone!

Its cool here this morning.
The clock when back saturday night so its clear in the morning now at about 7 and then its gets dark round 5.30
Had a night halloween weekend. but back to the grind mill today. thers a fireworks display tonight very close to me.
Scars the life put of the parrots and smaller birds out side.and puts scooby and sasha half mad.
They bark during the whole 15 minutes. i stand out the house and watch it at the back and talk to the birds
Hope anyone in the snow area,s are find. safe and warm.

i love halloween! today i am baking milk chocolate gingerbread bats with my daughter and then later on we are going trick or treating with my cousins and their children, then we are throwing a little halloween pizza party.

my daughter is really into it this year, she is 2 and is becoming so aware of halloween and christmas! she keeps shouting trick or treat!

Just checked our utility's website---some areas won't be restored until Wednesday evening (estimated). Our town doesn't even have an estimated time yet. It says "Assessing." That does not sound encouraging.

At least our motel has free Wi-Fi so I can check in and stay on touch here ...

Hope it all gets fixed soon. I have been hearing about the storms there on the news. Keep warm and safe!

had time to catch up on the countdown. i'm praying for all of you in the way of the snow/ice storm. please be careful!
well, nothing great here to mention.....broken water line, clothes dryer went out, wet clothes to take to my parents house to dry, microwave out, have a small backup one, need to get someone to fix water line. yikes!!! this of course is my only day off.

I spotted my fist eggnog Friday; bought & drank it today. Bring on the holidays!

I saw some in the store a few weeks ago, but it was that cheap watery tasteless brand so did not bother with it. Waiting for the good stuff to come out, which should happen real soon once Halloween is done.
