Christmas Countdown - 2011

Well let's see. I was in a funk big time. I started lighting candles that smelled piney and also put apple cinnamon scented things in my airwick and guess what- still didn't work. UH OH. So I turned on Music Choice to 932 (for us) and ahhhhhhhhh the melodious sounds of-- WHITE NOISE. Yep you guessed it the channel was out. OK OK I can assist myself along by having a mug of coffee with peppermint mocha in it- um HUNNY where is the creamer? " I used the last of it..." GAH!!!

THEN wait for it. The candles started putting their scent out full fold and the airwick was doing its job, and WOWZA the channel started to work. I spent most of the day yesterday getting things cleaned and although still have stuff to do, I am in the mood and the spirit. I dug out all our winter goodies and MONSTER was wearing his sherpa hat. I am now in a great mood and although I do not return to work until Tuesday I am going to be contagious and spread the cheer. YIPPEEEEEEE.

Hopefully we get our card lists today so I can get them labeled and stamped to go out next week.

Thanks CM3!! I just looked at IMDB and I had it wrong completly..I have not seen the Santa Suit actually... The movie I was referring to was called Karrol's Christmas.. that was the one I liked although it was kinda sad in places but did have a happy ending as most Christmas movies do..but jeesh talk about needing a kleenex in some places!!!!

i watched the santa suit last night. its the one about santa taking a heart attack and the daughter has to take over and she trys to bring it up with modern day..

Good evening Christmas family !!


Today was a WONDERFUL Day !! We went to Donzell's Christmas Open House and my sister went with us !! We were like two little kids going from display to display more and more amazed with each one we saw !!! I did post some pics in Christmas Blossoms but you have to click on them to see the full pictures !!

I still don't know about the puppy. I spoke to the lady on Friday evening and she still seems kind of like she is going to back out.........I hope she decides because this is hearbreaking for me......I just want a definite time and date and/or a definite yes or no.......

Yes, my sleep schedule is off! It's going to be weird driving from work home in the dark. What do Scooby & Sasha think of the cold each year? Do they give you the look of "You expect me to go outside in this?!" Maybe it's just smaller dogs that think that. Har is ok with it, but she sometimes waits longer to want to go out. Poor things.

Everyday just keeps getting better! The weather is cooler, we are another step closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas, the stores are filling up with Holiday Cheer and Christmas movies and commercials are on television!!!

Does it get any better than this?!?!?

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be beautiful today here in central Indy expect for the 30mph wind gusts. I have a lot to do today. I'm getting ready to head out to the early church service and then it will be over to my sisters house to help build some things for my niece's birthday party next weekend. She is going to have a wizard of oz party and my sister wants to make a giant rainbow to go over her driveway. She doesn't want to use balloons though because she's afraid they may pop in the cold air. So I'm going to make some kind of frame out of pvc pipe for her to hang either a fabric or paper rainbow from. I also have to replace the door handle on their door leading from the garage into the house. My brother in law tried to do it and now the door won't even open. Well I'm off to races. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad am not on my own !! thought it was just me that it affected
those 2 hounds of mine wood sit on top of the fire if you let them. the minute they see the fire being lit they are over befour you even get a chance to get it started.
They are not to bad with going out in the cold bit the rain is a different thing. they stand at the door like you say and then its a quick in and out. and right back to the front of the fire
Think dogs do feel the cold a lot. wee harlowe still doing good i take it. good

Well, I guess I should have given an update on what the beautiful wifey and I did last night....

WE HAD A DATE!

We went to eat, went to hobby lobby and bought some stuff, and (my first time in a year) went to the mall to look at Christmas stuff. We had so much fun. We talked about all our plans for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and spent quite some time discussing Black Friday (I prefer Cyber Monday). It was a great time. it was so much fun we are doing it again next weekend.
