You all wrote so many posts, I couldn't read through all the posts. Sorry :-(

@gabulldawg: I will keep you and your parents in my prayers! I am so so sorry for you. *hugs gabulldawg*

Hey everyone...I am trying not to be a downer here or anything, but I need prayers!!! I am confused and trying to get info on my parents in Portland because the state troopers just called me and said they were in a car accident and were xported to a hospital but the hospital will not give me answers...anyhow everything is chaotic now..I have to try to find them and get some info,..just kindly remember them in your prayers!!

so sorry to hear that, hope and pray they are both ok

Well, I guess I should have given an update on what the beautiful wifey and I did last night....

WE HAD A DATE!
How very nice! I am glad you had a nice time with your beautiful wife!

Have you noticed that all the men on this forum are extremely respectful of the opposite sex. So our statistics are better than average!!
I agree! I think it has something to do with men who love Christmas make great guys who treat the ladies right! My man is the same way. =)
I just realized I made 50,000 posts !!!
WOW!!!! Congratulations!

Finally have vacation (fall) and tomorrow my boyfriend is finally coming over from London after not having seen hm for a month and a half! He'll be staying for a week, so I think I am going to also make use of this week to do some Christmas shoppings which he can help me carry with hahaha

I hope you both have a very nice time while he visits!
I forgot to say, the Sunday was full of ads for Christmas ads, the big ones were the Target and Walmart toy catalogs, we will hand them to the boys so they can cut out what they want and glue them to paper and then we hand them to their grandparents, so they can actually see what they want.
What a great idea! Good way to keep the boys busy. =)

good morning ya'll. woke up w/ dawg & his family on my mind, hopefully he was able to get a flight out to be w/ them. that's gotta be a nightmare for him. Godd bless him.

gonna try to do more work on my Christmas tree today but i've gotta go grocery shopping 1st. with all these kids here this weekend my cupboards are bear.
ya'll have a good monday morning!! :!!

I got a VERY NICE surprise when I came home from work last night! When we pulled up in the driveway and I saw my big Christmas tree in the window with all the lights on. I looked at my husband and he said, "don't look at me, it was all your sons idea". I said, "Are you serious"????? My 21 year old son set up the Christmas Tree to surprise me and boy was I surprised!!!!!!! It was 100% his idea.

When I came in the house I told my son how much I appreciated it. With his silly sense of humor he said, "I didn't do it! Someone broke in the house and set it up"!

My son has acted indifferent about Christmas for several years now. Doesn't hate it but just indifferent. So this came as a big shock to me and brought tears to my eyes when he did this nice gesture. The night before he did this he sat down and watched The Grinch Who Stole Christmas with me.

We do have to decorate it which he knew the grandkids always help with that. He got the main part done for me. cheesy

I will never EVER forget this!

Know some thing i think you have hit the nail on the head there lol an just sitting thinking of couples that the man does noy like or care about christmas and those that do and seems to work out

so all you single girls out there find a man that likes christmas and you landed lol

:nice:

Good morning, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone well!!

Palmer is busy untying my slippers - she is quite a handful! Although Mouse is still not won over, Palmer has brought much needed joy into the house. I hope to get my tree up soon - I am behind on the decorating because of trying to figure out how to Palmer-proof things. I think what I am going to have to do is move the computer monitor next to the microwave and put the tree in the monitor's place - that way I can have lights. It should work out space-wise, but more importantly, I don't think P can get up there cheesy

Have a MERRY day!!!!!

Made-sorry for the Colts loss again, but now they are alone in front for the Luck Sweepstakes with the 'Fins winning.

I just hope they keep it up!!!

Well, I guess I should have given an update on what the beautiful wifey and I did last night....

WE HAD A DATE!

We went to eat, went to hobby lobby and bought some stuff, and (my first time in a year) went to the mall to look at Christmas stuff. We had so much fun. We talked about all our plans for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and spent quite some time discussing Black Friday (I prefer Cyber Monday). It was a great time. it was so much fun we are doing it again next weekend.

I'm glad to hear that you guys had a great time!!!!!

That was a nice rally by Junior at the end of the race yesterday. He really liked the new layout at phoenix last month when they tested there. So hopefully we can get that win this weekend.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is going to be a rainy day here in central Indy. I would prefer to see snow but I don't think anyone else would. I don't really have much planned for today. Fedex is supposed to deliver my laptop sometime before 4:30 and I have to be here to sign for it. So I can't go anywhere. I'll probably do some more cleaning and maybe I'll go through my cookbooks to find some new side dishes for thanksgiving. I hope everyone is havning a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
