Hi every one, today is my boyfriends birthday, and tomorrow is my exam, so i'm glad and stressed at the same time  off to study now, so that i as much as possible done before my boyfriend returns from work today :)
Have a very merry day!

* still sending good thoughts to gabulldawg of course!

I feel great--pain in the shoulder if I move too quickly without thinking! The stitches from my eye surgery come out tomorrow.

Glad to hear your eye stitchs come out today. give your shoulder a bit of time. it will take a bit of time. i no its easy to forgot but as you no you get a nice sharp reminder lol you take care

This is weird. I forgot my password and so I haven't been able to log in here for like over a year; managed to get it back through some trial and error with old email accounts. Not sure if anyone remembers me as I wasn't very active, but it is good to be back nonetheless. :)

Am only on about 6 months but welcome back just in time

Add one to the needle-hating!! I hate them so much that if I'm violently sick and I have the option to have medicine by needle (that will make me better by the end of that day) or pill (that will take a week to get better), I will take the pill EVERY SINGLE TIME! I also think it's one of the reasons I never want to have babies...I don't want the IV's in my arm! My arms get numb when I even TALK about needles...YUCK

Hi i am the same. they have red writing on my med file. do not use needles unless decused 1st.. am the same as you i go into a panic attack and have been known to walk out. so its talbets for me to. at the moment i have a back tooth that needs filled. not a chance. if and when i have no choice the dr gives me. 2 talbets to take . they leave me i dont who i am .where i am or,what am doing.. i have parrots and there nails can be sharp even that brings me out in a sweat, but am trying to help myself there. .i can give a injection no problem as i use to be a vet nurse but when its the other way round !!!!!!!!! even a thorn or abything like that ..its a session trying to get it out..

As we enter into the darkest months, there shines bright a community here. Community: the gathering of souls who believe in a common cause and celebrate it routinely. However, our little community is hardly routine. We hail from global corners. We have never spoken nor seen each other in person. We are as diverse as the universe, yet we speak a common language. We love a period of the year where the world stops for one moment and celebrates as one. Truly, there are those wonderful stories of the holidays- where strangers reach out and celebrate with charity that all too often is lacking the rest of the year. Look at the dysfunction that exists in our world and the pending darkness. Yet, all year long, here, our community is brilliant in love, and support, and friendship, and charity. In my darkest of days, I remembered: there is something bigger than this despair. It is friendship and love and the commonality of something that we celebrate, even if the rest of the world, only catches on for a few brief weeks. And it is fitting, that ever so close to Christmas, after the 21st of December and the longest night of the year, the world again joins us and goes into the light.
And so it has come to this, four days until the season

We had a great evening! The family and me went to TGIFriday's for dinner and then went to Hallmark. I had to pick up some ornaments, which I got one for each child, one for my tree, and one for the ornament exchange. I also picked up a recordable story book for each child. For what I spent, I got two free gifts. The gifts were really nice.

I am off tonight and we just got EA to bed here a little bit ago, working on the baby now. DH and I going to spend some time together, probably watch a movie.

I hope everyone is having a great evening. I will talk to everyone tomorrow!

*Thinking about you Dawg*
sugar i'm so happy you had a good evening w/ your family. you deserve it w/ all your hard work!! GO GIRL!!!!

I just heard from Gabulldawg.

His father had a stroke while driving and will recover but he is not sure how well he will do during recovery. His mother was in the car and injured but she should be fine too.

He wanted me to pass this along and said he is thankful for everyone's concern. He will try to post later today and update all of you on the situation. He said he will also try to respond to everyone's messages as soon as he is able to.

So sorry to hear of the accident but relieved to know his parents will be ok.
Let him know we continue to pray for all of them.

Sorry to hear about your netbook! Sorry to sound dumb but how do you spill a cover? What is a cover? I only know of the ones I use to keep warm at night and they wouldn't break a netbook. Ha ha!

Whoa...awful news. Thanks for letting us know. After what we've been through with my Mom I know how heartbreaking a stroke can be. Prayers most definitely for Gabulldawg and family.

We had to do a grocery run last night and low and behold!!
The eggnog has hit the shelves!!
Another sign that we are really closing in on the season!!

Of course, we had to pick one up and toast our first one of the 2011 season last night.

Cheers!!
