I want to thank you all for your kind words I truly enjoyed coming up with the special post. I loved doing it , cannot wait for the rest and for the fun of the countdown.
Hi Christmas family! Just checking in for the evening! I need am heading to work here in about 15 minutes, so I thought I would just check in quickly. I did get to read some of the posts from today, but not all of them
Not much new here today. DH is feeling better. He thought he did well on test - hopefully he did! We will know when he gets his results - I will let you all know. I'm still trying to get over this terrible cold. That is the only thing I don't like about fall/winter. I feel like I am sick half of it!

Man I hate exams, but oh i love the day after exams

good morning everyone... cant beleive the time is going so quick. Last night a couple that work must have seen the christmas tree,s in the shop and come to the house looking one and i said i wood leave it up tomorrow but the guy said that he was taking it now as the wife wanted to get it up last night..( they do that on me call at the house .small town everyone knows everyone and know there business as well lol)
That wood be pretty early for over here but everyone to there own.
Its friday an sure you know that anyway lol another weekend almost here.was just thinking i wood really need to get on the ball and get presents sorted. think today will go and get cd.s and dvd,s of ebay that will save a run as i hate going into music shops i can never find where anything is

@merrymistletoe: Well my mother does feel the christmas virus. She is listening to christmas music, is using all MY christmas candles (my fault I gave her one and she just uses them up faster than I do ;-))It is just that in my country you don't decorate that early. She will probably start within the week before first advent (I will do the full decorating of my room then too). She even said yesterday evening that if I want to, I could decorate everything. But I think this is kind of the privilege of a mother and it is also the tradition at my home. I won't change that and I just love the ideas she has. She really got the talent for decorating. Once I will have my own flat/house I will do all the decorating then.
So in the US the christmas season starts with veterans day? I am trying to get a feel for your christmas traditions.
It got quite cold here eventhough the weather forcast says the temperatures are around 50 to 53.6 fahrenheit (10 - 12 Grad Celsius) which isn't really cold at all (at least here^^). But I am kind of freezing all the time today. Other than that it is stilly very foggy and probably won't change for a week.

actually c, i'm always early...very early w/ my Christmas. i'd have to say for the most part Christmas season begins the day after Thanksgiving for most in the u.s. but not us here @mmc!

i hope to get lots done today, but i'm so excited to be off & get to read CAH's post earlier than i have been able to w/ work.
my daughter has decided she's going out for the track team.i found out yesterday she needs a physical exam BEFORE MONDAY!! nothing like the last minute.i'll be calling the doc asap this morning needless to say. she's not ran track before but i do hope she enjoys it.
CM3- can you believe it? only 1 more day till you get your new furbaby!! if the people you're getting her from only knew how great a mom your gonna be!
it's very cool here this a.m. tv said it should be in the low 30's & it feels like it. i'll take whatever the good Lord gives me but i do love cooler weather for the holidays.
hubby & i aren't sure what if anything we are gonna do for our date. the thought is nice but the $ we would spend on dinner, movie, or other is $ taking away from Christmas. kind'a disappointed but it was my decision. sometimes i hate being so practical!! ya' know? maybe we will think of something that doesn't cost. i don't know....
i hope this post finds everyone of you feeling great & TGIF!! woo hoo!:???:
