Good Morning Everyone!!!!! We are off to a warm start here in central Indy where we currently stand at 59 degrees. The temp should start falling soon though and rain is going to be in. I'm going to skip church again this morning because I'm feeling pretty blah this morning. This warmer weather has my allergies acting up again. Today is also the last NASCAR race of the season. So I'll be watching it and hoping Junior can pull off a win. The other good thing is the Colts have a bye this weekend. So they actually can't lose this weekend. Well I'm off to get some work done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 2010 Decorations

I saw this last year but was worth looking at again! You need more Santas. He he! Actually you have a lot! I have quite a few Santas just not sure how many. Lots on the tree and all over the house.

Thanks! My Christmas Tree really don't look as boring as the one I posted with my cat in it but I kept off most of my ornaments that year since he was knocking them down. Of course in the picture he really messed up my tree. I figured out the following year all I had to do was use twist ties and tie all my ornaments to the tree very tightly (all the breakables at least). Nothing will bring down those ornaments doing it that way. Unless the whole tree falls! =)

i am in fullchristmasmode right now....got up in the morning....put on a kettle on coffee and w atching the Polar Express right now with Kandice.....will cook Spaghetti Bolognese later on so we have a beautiful Sunday lunch...mom will come over....then we will head to a fleas market....then have coffee and cake....and then....oh then....i will.....we will start decorating for christmas.......with Michael Buble´s Christmas album and many other christmas joints...cant wait for this beautiful sunday to advance....the only minus.....laundry and house cleaning will be done today, too....cos yesterday I had to install and pick up the new dishwasher and exchange Kandice s winter coat

One of our neighbours was knocked down and killed last night. we are in a kinda shock but we all knew it was waiting to happen. as when he was drunk he wood just walk out in front of a car. dont no how many times i have had to brake to avoid hitting him. i feel sorry he is gone but i feel really bad for the driver as if he walked out in front of then . they wood not have stood a chance of stopping. as he wood do it that quick .every one in our town knew what he was like

That is sad even if it was expected. =(

Well, Zero Hour is rapidly approaching.

Just look what 365 days has dwindled down to:
Days To Thanksgiving Day: 4 (Barely over HALF a week left!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 35 (Five weeks from today!)
(That 4 is just about down to a bedpost, Guys.)

A bit warmer than yesterday here at this hour where we stand at 58 degrees under clear skies and the promise of 70+ temperatures by this afternoon.
(I will be happier than the dog!)

Next week will be action-packed, with pre-Thankgiving open house at the 'Pines, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday followed by a holiday weekend.

I am so excited about Thanksgiving! I feel slightly overwhelmed and stressed too. So not like me!!! I WANT to do it all, cooking, baking, cleaning, preparing, etc. No one is expecting me to do it all. If I up and decided to go to a cafeteria it's fine with everyone or if I wanted everyone to help that is fine with them too. In the past I did it all with no problems. The ONLY reason I feel a little stressed is I have been SO DANG TIRED and I am a little behind getting things done. I try to get things done then find myself sitting down to rest (a little more than usual). Please don't take this as me being whiny, I am actually in a fantastic mood and I am not in a cranky mood!!! Just been tired is all and struggling to get things done.

Now the good news!! I have recruited some help so all will be good. Wayne will be helping me and he is happy to do so, my daughter will come over the day before to help cook. I will have a few things for my son to do too. My full time job is babysitting the grandkids while my daughter and son-in-law work so my mom will be helping me with them this week and my son-in-law offered for one of his family members to keep them for the day if I need them. They mention many times about hiring daycare if I need it but I don't mind watching them, it's just a little hard this week is all.

I am in a very good mood about Thanksgiving and super excited! The only drawback is I have been exhausted. Nothing more than that. IT WILL be a great day!

I bet Carl has the perfect super energy blend of coffee for me!!!! :!!

think my what i can hear he is in bad shape. he was walkng along the road and in a spilt second he just bounched right in to the road he done that all the time round the town but in a town your only doing about 5/10 mile a hour ,this happened on a road out of the town..where the diver was doing the speed limit of about 50

Hey everybody!!

Just stopped in to wish everyone a wonderful day and I am so excited for Thanksgiving. My eight year old told me yesterday that he was so excited he was going to explode if it didn't get here soon! (Because for him it means it's that much closer to Christmas: Finally working on my Christmas cards and I will be mailing them out on December 1 and am just in a flurry of happy activity for this magnificent holiday season.

Back from church! Great service this morning.

Hello, everyone---count me in with those who need some extra energy. My Friday off and this weekend have been more about spending energy than recovering it! But I think I can cross one more large item off my to-do list, then get going on cards, wrapping, and packages. We'll probably go into Brookline today to visit Mr.'s parents and Mr.'s favorite pizza place.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving, too. We have Thanksgiving dinner just for the two of us, so we can relax and kick the Christmas season off in our own way. We spend Christmas with Mr.'s family, but Thanksgiving is for us.

I've been out of touch all weekend, working in my mom's pecans. We carried approx 4000# of pecans to the market yesterday! Now I have to get my pecans picked up & sold, then I hope I don't see a pecan for a few months.
