Would love to get a bigger version to use as my computer wallpaper!

Thanks!
I'll look for it.

Found it Kimothy but it only comes up as a small image.

MerryCarey - I would love to see your trees - Are there pics of them someplace on the site ? ((HUGS))

Here's last year's tree---it doesn't change much from year to year! I don't have a pic of the TV-room tree yet. Let's see yours, too! And your nativity scene with the new animals, please.

I took the picture with my new phone.

Very pretty! Not Charlie Brown-ie at all!

I got some icicles for my little tree to give it a little extra sparkle. I'll put them on tomorrow and decorate the bigger tree.

Well our trip to the Christmas parade and tree lighting went horrible. My sister and aunt were sick and didn't go. My brother in law also didn't go because he was at work. So that left just me and mom to watch my niece's and it might as well have just been me because mom was to busy shopping at the craft booths. The choir singing was the first thing going on. They little part I heard sounded good. I was kind of busy dealing with one niece who was complaining her stomach hurt and another one crying because she squeezed her hot chocolate cup to hard and spilled it all over herself. Then they moved onto the live nativity. There was to many people and my niece's couldn't see. So that led to another breakdown and trip to the car to let everyone warm up and calm down. We missed the tree lighting while we were at the car but they didn't even stop traffic in the streets this year so you really couldn't get a good view of the tree anyways. Then it was time for the parade. My youngest niece had a melt down because the sirens were to loud on the police car and my older niece was mad because the 10 cars that made up the parade weren't throwing candy. After the parade we left and headed out to scout for Christmas lights. There were a few good displays but nothing to spectacular. So the night didn't go completely as planned but I got to see Santa and some Christmas lights so I guess it wasn't completely horrible.

I'm baaaaaccckkk!

Got home yesterday and feel 1000 times better! Drinking a big ol cup of coffee and watching Sportscenter. No work for me today, so there will be plenty (and I emphasize plenty) of Christmas movies. So, I'm off.....off to read the boards and watch, umm, well, we will start with the Polar Express!

Have a great Friday, friends!

Glad to hear! Hope your moviethon was fun.

Afternoon. I'm spending my Saturday afternoon on the exercise bike and watching The Hangover. It is a beautiful afternoon in Sydney, Australia as well. The sun is out and there isn't a cloud in sight. I'm happy to say that the Christmas tree is up, the lounge room is filled with Christmas decorations and one of my family friends was kind enough to give us her old Christmas lights, so that was nice of her to do that. They are hanging outside on the porch. This week has been very laid-back. Haven't been to school in two weeks, which is awesome. Last week, I was on holiday. This week, I was doing work experience. I have been working in the kitchen and I'm happy to say that yesterday was my last day. Got tired of chopping up food and cleaning dishes. The bad thing about work experience is that I didn't get paid. Still, it beats school by a long shot. My exams have been completed by both me and everybody else in my year, yet we are still forced to go to school until the year ends. That's ludacris, in my opinion. In previous years, everybody was let off after exams. Now, they changed the rules. Pretty stupid, nobody has been going. I'm going to find a way. I'm going to find a way on how I can not go to school without getting into trouble. My sister is visiting us, so I'm probably going to have some time off. I have my graduation on the 9th and I am going to a water park as part of an excursion on the 14th. I'll catch everybody later. I enjoy reading everybody's stories every single day.

Sounds like a rough night, the light displays will get better over the next week or 2.

Hello to all the Who's in Whoville,

Guess what I am watching?
I have always liked the live action Grinch movie, it's a little over the top but mindless fun. ABCFamily kills me with the promos for their rather mediocre looking shows though.
Another very long day at work today, I think it's the post-Thanksgiving lull when no one really wants to think of food, especially with leftovers. That will probably change after this weekend, hams, roasts and turkeys, oh my.
Back to the funhouse first thing.

Have a great night!

:elf:

Good morning christmas friends..
Hope all is good with your selves and furbabies
Hell i have been busy all i seen to do is work eat and sleep
Have all my living room decor up just needs a tidy up and have started on the sunroom got some of it done last night. and will get a bit more done this evening
Have about 2 hours to do on the outside stuff and tonights the night. i think i can light up..the weather is a bit windy and it plays havoc with the airblown.
Its that bad i cant get time to go and get some party/frozen treats
Weather man is saying about snow coming in monday tuesday hope so. then the rain might stop.
Shop is really busy .have only about 12 tree.s left this last few days they are going like hot cakes
Am starting soon. after another cuppa and sort out the christmas tableware and get it in some where in the shop.
My mate was really putting presure on me yesterday to help her . her partner had to go up and get the decor down from the roof space. as she could not get anyone else to do it so he had to . it took him about well over a hour and she keep texting to say she does not know here to start. and she was sore .stuff like that. she thinks am going down to hers tomorrow to put up her outdoor stuff
Was gonna go shopping. but guesss not. and as well its sunday . she has no help at all she even asked me to bring a mate of mine down to help to. He said that he was not going as she made the choice to move away so guess its up to me and her partner and being honest hes not much help.
So that my story finished.. so hope you guys are all doing good and anyone thats not. hope your better soon
