Evening. Hope everybody is in good spirits, whether they are just waking up, been up for a while or just chilling out at night. That is depending where you are living. Today has been a very laid-back day. As I mentioned earlier, I have been watching movies, working out and kicking the football around the backyard. Just getting outside and training for football next season is always good. Sorry if you guys are confused, when I say football, I mean soccer. Just used to calling it football. Anybody who plays football would know where I'm coming from when I say that it means the world to you. Seriously, I have so much passion for football. My love for it is unbelievable. I mean, I have been training, kicking the football around and getting ready for next season and it is approximately 5 months away. Nothing wrong with being prepared and excited. We're guaranteed a spot in the semi-finals for futsal, so I'm pumped up for that. Call me crazy, but I hope to get scouted one day. I don't care if it's for a top club in Australia or England or if it's for reserve grade. Playing in front of a crowds is always good. I don't mean to be modest, but here is a little bit of information about me. I'm a striker, the leading goal scorer for my team, the leading goal scorer for my school team, the leading goal scorer for my futsal team, I've got one of the most deadliest strikes in my age group and I have been told that I have a bright future in football, whether it's for local league or playing at a high level. Good morning, Christmas family!
I pray this finds everyone well!
Although I did accidentally hit the MMC link at the top of my browser when shutting down the computer yesterday I haven't been on for a few days. There are times when life gets in the way, though. I really missed you guys! Hopefully I'll have a bit more time this evening to catch up on everything.
Yesterday I finally got down to the store and decorated for Christmas. I would like to do something better, but we only have a small area and so I could only put a small tree up on the top of one of our hutches. We have asked for a bigger booth, but so far nothing. There is a waiting list of over 400 potential vendors, but hopefully we will get the space before one of them as we have been in the mall since it first opened. When I was getting the check for last month's sales, I saw we have already made rent for this month - which was great news until I found out that a customer's house burned down and she replaced a lot of her stuff out of our booth.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!!! It is going to be a warm day here in central Indy with a high in the mid 50's. I have some shopping to do later and I also need to get some cleaning done. The first thing I'm going to do though is watch all of the christmas specials on food network this morning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

After today we will have completed THREE WEEKS of Christmas Season 2011!
How can we be that far along already? Almost half way from the start of the Season to Christmas Day itself!

A nice nip in the air to go Christmas Tree hunting to, for which we are just about to launch.
You have a Sensational Saturday, a Fantastic First December Weekend Day and a Dashing Decoration Day, Friends.
(I recall reading somewhere that the first Saturday in December is the single most popular day for Christmas decorating. No more excuses not to snap photos for the Blossoms thread!)

oh lord....st. nicolas day is on tuesday and besides kandice s present i got none yet...i only get gifts for the kids on that day....so it is okay...but i dunno what to get for em even....lol....anyhow, i am sure i will find sumthin nice....today i will get the apples, oranges, nuts and chocolates for the boots and socks

I hope everyone has cleared their schedules for next Sunday because I expect to see all of you over at Christmas Chatter for my Christmas Collectibles chat.
oooooh my i cheated this year. I popped off an order for gifts through LTD. lol 3/4 of the shopping was done in 15 minutes last night BUT bear in mind I have been pouring over that catalog for weeks writing and crossing out stuff, so I was ready to do what I had to do and not take that much time when it came to the order itself.
Gunna finish cleaning today and get some baking done. I might make buckeyes today IF I have enough chocolate that is.

Deep in the heart of Texas? Goodness! Usually, the weather you get ends up in our area a day later....so I'm going to check the forecast.
We got 5 inches on my birthday Monday...it was crazy.

Saturday morning ... Staying out of Mr.'s way while he finishes the Christmas packages that are going to be mailed. Later in the day I'll add some icicles to the little tree, and decorate the bigger tree this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Some cards going out today, the rest plus the packages Monday. Hard to believe, but all the shopping and wrapping are done, unless we spot something that we want to add to someone's loot. The front of the house is decorated with an LED wreath and a row of lighted candy canes, a spotlight on the wreath on the front door, and the bigger Christmas tree smack dab in the middle of the front window. Maybe I'll make chocolate chip cookies next weekend. I make them special for Mr.---coconut instead of nuts, and coconut extract instead of vanilla. Adds a subtle coconut flavor and chewy texture. And I have a new hand mixer to make the mixing easier.
Oh, yeah, the Christmas season is here! I'll be back later in the day to see what all of you are doing with your weekend.
Now I feel better about the accumulation on our kitchen table. So we aren't the only ones!
