Hello Christmas Family

it's been over a week since I posted in here. just alot of things going on in my everyday life that has me not in the so Christmasy mood. just wanna ask for prayers cause I truly believe right now my faith is being tested,HARD!!!

Long story short, my sister isn't going to be able to be here for christmas, we havent seen one another in 20 years. and my brothers wife left him after 4 and a half years of marrage and a almost 3 year old son. he is heart broken as all of us.I'm just numb. he couldn't figure out what he did wrong. and it's just so many things with this story................

on a happy note Hope the kitten is doing well and her leg is healing fine.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is frosty here in northern California. Hubby has already scraped the windows in the van. We both are headed to the Elks Hoop Shoot at the Intermediate School. Then I think I will head to Bernie's so I can have breakfast with Bradmac and everyone else. That sounds like so much fun. TTYL.

I can hear the sadness in your "voice." Thinking of you and your family. I understand how your brother feels. My first husband told me a week before our third child was born that he didn't want to be married anymore. He left when she was three days old. It is painful, but your brother WILL get over it. It truly does take time. But he can make this a great Christmas for his son, and that will help them both.

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm once again at Bernie's General Store. The sausage, bacon & eggs are all cooked, and the coffee is hot! Come on down and we'll sit around the table at the stone fireplace and shoot the breeze!

I opened at 6am, and I'll be here till closing at 7pm today, then we have a Christmas party booked in the coffee shop upstairs from 7pm till 9pm. I'll be a tired puppy when I finally get home tonight!

Two weeks from today is Christmas Eve! The second most magical day of the year. It is awfully difficult to believe this as well. I love Christmas Eve!

Good morning, everyone!

I thought I would stop by for a quick visit. It is a chilly -7c here with windchill. But, it is December after all. I love this weather. Right now, Kim is out running errands and I am waiting for her to return. Afterward, we should be walking to the Rideau Centre to partake in some Christmas shopping. It is going to be very busy.... but, 'Tis the Season! I can't wait. Christmas is everywhere!

Last night was somewhat relaxing. We just stayed in and watched a documentary. Not Christmas-related, but still entertaining. Tonight, Kim has a potluck and a friend's birthday celebration to attend. I'm hoping that a few friends of mine will come through and organize something small. I only have one more Saturday night in Ottawa before I return home to Sault Ste. Marie for my Christmas Holidays! Oh, and I have get to the gym sometime, too.

Hope all is well with everyone. Those who are having issues in their lives, I wish you the best of luck and hope that everything turns around so that you can enjoy the Christmas Season for all that it is worth!

Hey all! Been a few days since I've been here, but there have been a lot of ballgames this week. I haven't been home since Tuesday night, so have been posting where I could and catching up where I can!

Today will be like an organizational day for Christmas. To do lists, grocery list, shopping details worked out, etc. Should be fun. Tonight......that's right....ballgame duty!

No special plans today---trying to decide whether to make our chocolate chip cookies tomorrow or next weekend. Thursday night I found an MP3 album of 100 Christmas songs for $5, so I downloaded it. Lots of older stuff, so it was a great bargain for me.

We had a great day out yesterday with a friend of ours. We took some old movie posters out to a restoration expert. Two of them he can save, but he can't do anything for the other one. We had a nice lunch out with our friend, then we all went back to our house and gabbed a while. Then a quiet evening at home, plus a short phone chat with Gloria. (Our days are probably too dull to report about!)

I'm taking Monday off, and I'm trying to arrange it so I can do nothing but lie around a watch Christmas movies. Around here we can get a wonderful premium chocolate milk made with Belgian chocolate. It's pricey, but Mr. brought me a quart to enjoy during my long weekend. Heated in the microwave, it makes a great cup of hot chocolate!

I hope everyone has some holiday cheer planned for weekend, even if it's a Christmas DVD at home. The season's too short to miss a minute. And tomorrow's the WLCP on MMC---if I make cookies tomorrow, maybe I can listen to the Top 100 while I bake.

That sounds like a wonderful day ... I had cold cereal and did the week's accounting so far. Hoping to make the remainder of the day more festive!

One pound deer---5 days old---he is beautiful.
Kinda 'makes your day doesn't it ?

This tiny deer was delivered by Caesarean section at a Wildlife hospital after a car killed his mother.

Little Rupert, who is so small he can fit in an adult's hand, was born after vets failed in their battle to save his mother.

At just 6" tall and weighing just over a pound, he is now in an incubator in the intensive care unit at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire. He has only recently opened his eyes.

Les Stocker, founder of Tiggywinkles, said, "Rupert's mother had very severe injuries. We brought him out and got him breathing, and then he went into an incubator on oxygen. He is now being fed by a tube"
