Good Morning MMC!

It is going to be warm and rainy the next few days, going up as high as 10c!
We have had Christmas without snow before, and maybe, just maybe it could snow again before then!

Oh well, as the ghost of Christmas present says on the Muppet Christmas carol,
"it is the season f the heart, a special time of caring, the ways of love made clear. And it is the season of the spirit the message if we hear it is make it last all year."

Good morning, I just got home from work and as it turns out it snowed last night!! Who knew?!?!?? Hahaha

Merry Christmas to all & to all a good night!

Good Morning all! Wow, it has been busy around here! Getting ready for Christmas is tiring sometimes! Got a lot of gift wrapping done today. My daughter is in her last week of school before the big Christmas break and I'm as excited about it as she is! The cat hasn't been attacking the tree so much lately which is good. Have a great day everybody!

Good Morning All! We're getting so close to Christmas, I wish time would slow down just a little!

The stomach bug I had right after Thanksgiving seems to have come back. Bummer, but at least I won't have to worry about holiday weight gain this year!

My tree is almost done (hard to decorate a tree while sick, and family doesn't help that much). We decorated our department at work yesterday, now our section looks very Christmasy! I even have my tiny tree up. Next week will be the Baby Party--it's our office tradition to bring in all the employee's kids for a party the week before Christmas. The parents draw names for a gift exchange and all of us contribute to a potluck. It's a lot of fun to see how much the kids have grown during the year! Of course my "baby" is 30, but I enjoy the party anyway.

Well, have a wonderful day! I haven't had time to go through the messages, but I hope to get a chance at some point. I'm thinking of all of you, esp. those who are sick or dealing with the loss of loved ones....

Anne

I hated being in plays. I had horrible stage fright!

That is great you got to play Mary!

That looks amazing!!!

I did baking last week and it took me allllll day long. I should have got a friend over to help like you did! =)

Do you want to help me bake next time?

I'm definitely in, CAH!! That would be so much fun!!!!!!!!! :-D

I usually watch that every year but I missed it this time. I hope they air it again!

Welcome to the Countdown!

Congratulations!!!!

I wish I was home to participate in your chat. I bet it was great!!!

I hope you feel better soon!

Get well soon!!!

I am so sorry about your friend. I will say prayer.

That happens to me every December!

Good afternoon, Christmas family

Getting ready to get started for another day at work. A BIG thank you to all those who came to my Christmas With Pets Chat. I think it got boring mostly because I really don't know anything about pets and should have researced different topics for the chat. You were all wonderful, thank you for sticking around xo

This has been a really odd Christmas Season for me so far. It just seems one minute I am up and jolly and the next minute I am really sad and down. I don't know what my problem is. The most wonderful day so far this Season was the day with my dear sister.

Hi i get days like that .with work and things its hard t0 feel christmassy all the time bit it always in your heart

Good Morning, Christmas family!!!

Hope you're all doing well this 2nd to the last Monday before Christmas

I'm getting very excited for my parent's visit! They leave Wisconsin a week from tomorrow. Hope the roads will be good & safe for them. I always worry about snow & ice. At least they're used to driving in them, I'm the one whose out of practice. They should make it to Vegas the day before Christmas Eve ;o)

Our work Christmas party is this Saturday night. It's located at a resort near my house. They're having carriage rides in addition to the dinner & band playing. I guess they have photo booths and other fun little things on the property, too. Should be fun!

Thinking of you all~ saying prayers for those who need them, and sending Christmas cheer as well!!

hope you have a lovely time with your parents am sure you are lookiing forward ti seeing then.....and enjoy your work party. mine is saturday night as well

Thank you, Shellie!! Cannot wait for them to get here!!! You have fun @ your work party as well! Happy Birthday to you!!!!!!!! Hope you are able to relax and enjoy your day with your loved ones =)

Good Morning, friends!!

I cannot believe we are down to 12 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time is sure flying...

We watched White Christmas last night, with all of the lights out except for the tree. So beautiful! Love doing that.

It has been raining the last couple of days, with some sleet too. The mountains got more snow as well, and look lovely.

I have a stack of submittals calling me on my desk, so I better get to them. Although, I'd much rather hang with you all!!

Sending thoughts & hugs to you, furkids too of course~

Have a blessesed day!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

The company Christmas party wasn't too bad. I haven't bowled in years & years, so I was very rusty. But the old feel came back after a while and I didn't do too bad. The company bought gifts for us, and we played the game that, when your number is drawn you get the choose and open a present. If you don't like it, you can swap with another person's gift. I got out of there with the parts needed to construct a ramp to drive lawn mowers into a pickup truck...LOL! But that's better than the perfume I got stuck with for most of the game. Thank goodness one of the women wanted the perfume!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

That's a fun game, if it's played right! We played it at one of my jobs, about 20 years ago, and it was a blast watching people taking gifts from each other and it would last for about 20 minutes.

Then one year I decided it would be fun to play it with the family. They either didn't get it or were just too nice to take from another. The game was over in 2 minutes!!! I kept telling them you can take from another person but they wouldn't do it. Ha ha! You can tell that my family have a nice peaceful Christmas of getting along well, maybe too well! =)

My main goal today is to figure out what kind of candy I'm going to make this year. I usually make all kinds of stuff for my mom to take to work and to give to my neighbor's for Christmas. Last night mom informed me that she wasn't going to take anything into work this year though. She has a new boss and he won't even let them decorate so she decided that they don't deserve it. She always took the majority of the cookies and candy so I can cut way back this year.
Oh no you didn't just say cut back!!! You can make some for all of us!!!

I always got excited when my kids were out for the holidays and HATED when they had to go back! I love them being home! =)

Enjoy!

If you read all his banter, you probably realize why we can't let him out in public too often!!! It was hilarious!

I wish I could have been here yesterday for the big party. Sounds like it was a blast!

I also wish I was here when RadioJonD was in the countdown with all the great entertainment! Don't be a stranger Mr. Jonathan!!! Come join us more often!!!

Hey Made, (and anyone else watching) have you noticed that on a few of the Christmas cooking shows on the Food Network don't even have their kitchens decorated? It's not that big of a deal but I like to see them have their kitchens decked out when cooking! :-D It just looks like another cooking show when they don't decorate.

We went to Herr's potato chip plant in Pennsylvania last night. It was something my husband found on his way to a skating party, and he thought I would like to see it. Not that we went in the plant, but their whole property is decorated for Christmas. You can drive onto the property and there are signs directing you where to drive to see the next display. I'll try to post some pictures tonight-we got home in the wee hours this morning, and I haven't taken them off my camera yet. It really was nice; anyone in the area of Nottingham Pennsylvania should go take a look!

Great Muppet Christmas Carol quote! I am really hoping for snow between now and Christmas, too. I just do not enjoy the Green Christmases. Thankfully, there appears to be snow in the long range forecast for Sault Ste. Marie... As long as it doesn't delay my flight on Sunday, I will be happy!

Enjoy your time with the in-laws! I am sure that they will take away from your stir crazy feelings!

Yes. 12 Days!! I love watching TV with all the lights out - except the tree. It makes everything so much more enjoyable/magical!

You could have always just re-gifted the perfume, Brad! Glad you ended up with something that you could put to use...!

Good morning, Christmas friends. We woke up to frost this morning, but it is supposed to get up into the 50s today. It appears that will be the pattern for this week. I had an early morning meeting at school today and was exhausted before it was over. I have to get better so I can get back to work. ("Work?" says Maynard G. Krebbs.) Dinner tonight is in the crockpot: beef-barley stew with a whole bunch of stuff. It smells so good. I saute the veggies in garlic olive oil: potatoes, mushrooms, onions, corn, and carrots. Then I put in some cream of portabella mushroom soup, beef broth, the beef shanks, and seasonings. Something about sauteing the veggies really brings out the flavor. So does sauteing the meat. Well, now I am sufficiently hungry; so maybe I will have some crackers and cheese. TTYL.
