Christmas Countdown - 2011

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers as I flew from Ottawa to the Sault on Sunday night. The flight was painless. I really enjoy flying! Now, I am home in Sault Ste. Marie with family.

Yesterday, we celebrated my mom's birthday with pizza and wings. Then, we decorated the Christmas Tree. My mom can't bring herself to do it until I return home for Christmas. It looks beautiful. I will more than likely take a few pictures as soon as I can.

Today, my dad and I are heading across to the U.S. to pick up one of my Christmas gifts. Apparently, it has my name on it, so I have to pick it up with him. It should be a good time! Actually, he is here in less than an hour. I really should be getting ready.

Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone! It's already the 20th of December. The Christmas Season is in full swing and Christmas Day is nearly right in front of us! Merry Christmas!!!

Thanks CM3!! I have taken deep breaths and am trying to relax..I have talked to my mom and dad in Oregon and they are doing better,I miss them terribly and my mom had to mention this would be the first christmas I will not be with them...actually maybe it's the 3rd.Anyhow I am doing alot better as long as I can stay inside and get things ready!

I cannot believe Christmas is SO close!!! I feel like I spend so much time preparing and then it's here! I love gazing at our Christmas tree every night!

This is a picture before we put the "snow" under the tree as well as the houses/village.

I went to Walmart today to finish up some shopping for Christmas food...sheesh talk about a zoo! Apparently it's okay to run toes over with your cart and hit into people because you're in a hurry LOL. Oh well, I'm not going to let some crazy people ruin my holiday spirit!

Hey Everyone! I think it's almost time for the baby to come...I am not sure...but um I think we are about to go to the Hospital and call the Dr! she has been feeling like this for the last day but now she says she needs to get to the Hospital..so maybe this is it!! talk to yall later!! and wish us luck!!

I FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY FINISHED TYPING UP MOM'S PLAYLIST LETTER! I just need to print it out on the Christmas Letterhead and then I can place it in her bag!! :dance:

P.S. I got returned a Christmas card that the post office wasn't able to forward. It's someone I'm not very close to but still have on my list. Would it be rude of me to not re-send it to the correct address? I'm just Christmas card sending out!

Not an earthquake. Just a transformer that blew. The power went out twice at the game. I am about 1 1/2 hours away.

I had two doctors' appointments today, and the plastic surgeon is so HAPPY with my progress. I think I surprised him!!! Hubby and I did some grocery shopping at two stores, and I was tired afterwards. Not alarmingly so, but tired nontheless. When we were shopping, we saw a friend of ours and she said I look 20 years younger!!! She told Hubby to watch out!!!

Thinking of you and your daughter. I have had pneumonia five times and it is NOT pleasant. Now I get the pneumonia shot!!! Take care and rest yourself!!!
