Good Christmas Eve morning everyone! I need to get moving and start frying a turkey we are going to eat around 1pm I just wanted to stop in here first and say hello to everyone and have a great day!!

Good morning, everyone! I am so excited that the day is finally here. I am going to have breakfast and then start to get ready for company to come over! The Steelers play at 1 PM, which is sort of an inconvenience if you ask me. I'd rather have Christmas Eve without football, even though I usually love it. My dad is going to run and pick us up some catered chicken, salad, and this really yummy sandwich from a local deli. Then my mom and I made a bunch of food yesterday. I will be very excited to exchange gifts with my brother today and also to give my grandpa his presents.
Merry Christmas Eve!!! I'll be tracking Santa all day, of course!

I hope you all have a wonderful day! I am hoping it goes well here, especially for my mom. She pulled her back out twice since August and said that she has been sore the past couple of days and feeling strange in her back, so my fingers are crossed that nothing happens.

Gotta love me some Steelers, even if it is on Christmas Eve. I am a diehard fan. I wish it wasn't today so much earlier, as I love to watch nothing but Christmas today and tomorrow, but Steelers will be playing at that time, no matter what.

It's great to see another Steelers fan around here! I am also a diehard fan, but somehow I feel like the game is taking away from typical festivities. I would have preferred a later game myself. We had to schedule picking up all of the food around it and now everyone is coming over at all random/strange times such as half time or after the third quarter or after the game. It would have been nice for everyone to eat together and then watch the game, but oh well - we'll make the best of it! I am disappointed that Ben is not going to be playing today, but I still think we should win!
I don't know Made...I know I said I would read the two hours of post I missed last evening from 6 to 8 or whatever it was, but I don't know when I will get to it. It seems like the count is just moving to fast!

My younger niece only has 2 gifts more but she just has a lot of bigger boxes so it looks like a lot more. So I think I 'm just going to go look for one more bigger item for my older niece to make it look more even. Of course right now they are even money wise so this will throw that off.
I am in way glad it is an earlier game - I won't miss it because of church and eating with my family this evening. DH also has to work tonight, so he can watch it with me as well. We are only about 2 to 2 1/2 hours away from Pittsburgh, so we're huge everything Pittsburgh fans and always have been!
And yes...I wish Ben was playing too! :-( I have faith too that we will still win!

It's always thrown off one way or another - a few dollars or a gift or two. It's so hard to be perfectly even. My brother likes to ask for a couple of things that are more expensive and I ask for smaller things that are less expensive, so my mom always has a really hard time. If she does it that way, I have way more gifts, but she spent an even amount.
I wouldn't worry about it!! I'm sure everyone is in the Christmas spirit and a gift or two isn't going to make a difference
Okay...the only thing I missed was you making you decision about your gift. A million dollars! Great choice. Now when are going to send me some? It's the season of giving, right? :-D
