I found a radio station here that is still playing Christmas music! Have it on whenever I am in the car.

We have a station up here that starts playing Christmas music on the 25th and plays it through Jan. 6, it really helps keeping the PCB's away

Good evening,

We made a trip to visit to my grandparents and delivered a care package of cookies, and then went to the mall, I bought a new winter jacket for $19 marked down from over $80, it wasn't busy, but it was picked clean. The worse thing is that my local Hallmark is going out of business, I missed out on the Gizmo from Gremlins ornament unfortunately.

Have a great night!

Good evening, Christmas family

Not much to report here. Today and yesterday were brutal at work. All goobers, lots of 'em but maybe it will be better tomorrow. I am trying to stay above the Christmas blues but it isn't working too well. Once Christmas Eve is over, that is when I usually get really sad. This year's Christmas Eve was the best yet. So much fun.

I hope all are doing well and not too sad.

Meceka - I am so glad to hear that Mouse is doing okay xo

Have a good and Christmassy evening, dear Christmas family xo

Good evening, friends~

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!

Ours was nice, but went by so fast :(

And I do have lots of those Christmas blues like most of you..
Thank God we have each other, right?!

We have been having fun with my parents, staying busy. So nice to have them here.

Life has also thrown us a few curve balls, so just trying to figure stuff out. Trying not to stress, just want to enjoy the next week, then back to reality.

I have not been able to keep up with the countdown for the past few days. Please forgive me. Sending thoughts & prayers to you all~

Enjoy the last week of Christmas movies! So sad not hearing the Christmas music on the radio any longer. I am off to bed, going to watch Polar Express. Sweet dreams, all~

:smile:Stacey

We had a magical Christmas as well! My boyfriend and I spend Christmas eve in our own house, it was amazing! He was very surprised when he got his christmas pj's i had made myself :)
christmas morning we did breakfast together and unwrapped our gifts, and it was great. After that we went to my parents and spend an entire day of fun with them and all of my brothers and my little brother was feeling well and enjoying it :D
Yesterday we had the second day of christmas here in the netherlands and we spend it with my boyfriends family, it was relaxed but nice.
I am really glad every thing was perfect. Now getting to work again, as the end of the semester is approaching (end of january!)

Good morning, Christmas family!

I hope this finds everyone well!

I so did not want to get up this morning, but Mouse was hungry and would not let me go back to sleep. Good thing, too, as I have to work today.

Have a MERRY day!!!!!!!!!

Good morning MMC!!!! It's snowing here today and it looks like we may get a couple of inches before the day is over. This would have been nice a couple of days ago but not today. I have some cleaning to do and I might do some more some shopping later this morning. Then tonight is the viewing and funeral for my sisters neighbor's son. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a great morning! Just wanted to stop by and say hello!

Busy day again today. I am off work tonight, so I plan on sleeping only 4 hours give or take, get up and play with the kids, then out to my mom and dad's for another Christmas party tonight!

Well, I better take a nap. Talk to you all later on. Have a great day!

I am becoming quite distressed hearing about so many members here suffering from the blues plaque.
This insidious virus seems to be spreading.

Apparently it is spread through used wrapping paper. Please make sure you get all of it out of your house, you do not want this virus!

Once you get it out of the house make sure to spray areas with febreze cranberry scent to remove all contamination. (and do not visit anyone who still has used wrapping paper at their home to keep it from re contaminating you)

If you find you did get it, soak in a tub of eggnog, while sipping candy cane hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music.
If symptoms persist, repeat treatment until all traces of this virus are gone.

Also, I know that a lot of people put in work around here....and I thanked Jeff and Crown yesterday, but no one else. I want to thank everyone around here who does a lot...

Radio....thanks for all the hours of Christmas music and shows I listened to this year.

To all the others...from the bottom of my heart...thanks!
You're welcome! I know I have stuck by your side as a die hard Cowboys fan!

Just KIDDING!

I agree with you! I have thanked Crown a couple of times and everyone here in the countdown for their friendship.

Now I need to thank Jeff and Maureen for their hard work in keeping this forum going and to all others a BIG THANKS to them all! Thanks to RJD for his hard work with bringing us music!!!

LOVE IT!!!!!!! I better hurry off to the store for 40 gallons of eggnog to fill up my tub!!!!!

Wow!!!!! I feel fantastic again today!!!! No blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will try hard to spread my "good vibes" virus to all those who are feeling blue! Here, let me sneeze on you! *Achoo!!!*

Not sure if I said much of what we did for Christmas so here it goes. Christmas Eve we went to my uncles, like we have been doing for over 30 years. I LOVE going over there. He has a little 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house and we cram about 25 people in it and have to "shove" through the crowd to get from one room to the next. It kind of has that cozy feel. Ha ha! We played our annual bingo and for prizes we hand out scratch off lotto tickets. Sometimes we have big winners, this year only 4 bucks was won but we had fun.

Christmas Day was spent at my house with the same group of people that go to my uncles on Christmas Eve. We have a little more room in my house with 2 bathrooms! Ha ha! I have 4 Where's Waldo books that I set out every year and they are always a hit! I just lay them out and not say a word but within an hour everyone has one of those books in their hands and looking for Waldo and it's not the kids looking for him but the adults! After opening presents we hang around and play games.

Christmas night Wayne and I took the grandkids out to see Christmas lights. They had a blast!

Lots of food and fun! I tell you what, my family is full of comedians. I laughed so hard I think I busted a few ribs! Fun fun fun!

BRING ON CHRISTMAS 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's so great reading about everyone's Christmas ... like celebrating all over again in different houses! Back at work today---heavy workload this week, but haven't gotten the stuff yet to work on. The waiting will drive me nuts ... the later it gets here, the less time I have to do it, and the longer my workday becomes. I've already postponed a doctor's appointment to accommodate it. Thank heaven there's another three-day weekend coming!

our cable channel had it on this morning, but just checked and it is off now :-(

Awwww ... booo!

Maybe 'cause the goobers are the ones that work over Christmas? I hope the goober quotient goes way down soon.

Eggnog is the new milk bath! Thanks for the good advice, CS---must make sure all that contaminated wrapping paper is out of the house.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm here at work today, but there's not much happening. I wanted to take the whole week off, but so did my supervisor. The other guy in our office wanted just today off. So I said I'd work today and my co-worker could work the rest of the week, and the boss can have the whole week off.

He and I didn't get along well at all when he first came on, but after a few tribulations, he mellowed, and now I enjoy working with him. I never thought I'd say that!

Nancy and the kids spent the night in a fancy hotel in Savannah last night with Nancy's sister. She's all about fancy stuff, and I never have been. Maybe that's why I wasn't invited?!? LOL That's ok. I had a great time with my new blue ray player and couple good guy movies. Now it's time to buy that Rocky movie box set on blue ray! "Yo, Adrian! I did it!" That'll bring a tear to my eye everytime.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning everyone! Well, we had a wonderful Christmas this year. Not a lot of gifts but it was still a good one with family and good friends and good food. We will have another Christmas on Saturday with family and that will be all for the gift giving and heavy eating. I'm afraid it will take months to lose all the extra weight I have packed on this season but it was worth it. I hope everyone here has a great week! :give:
