As I mentioned earlier that I am suffering from "After Christmas Happy" virus! If you are feeling blue I will spread my virus to you. Stand close by and I will sneeze on you!

I know those blues are very real and you can't help the way you feel so I hope you all get better real soon!

Woo hoooo Pens! I love being from Pittsburgh! Nice to see Staal score tonight, especially since it was a big game for him. Always fun to see him play his brother, too. Sad that Sidney isn't playing, but I'm starting to wonder if he's ever going to come back. I know it has to be challenging battling constant headaches and dizziness, and you can't be skating around with that. I'd love to see Malkin get another hat trick, especially on a big night like Thursday. I think I'm going to order in some pizza or something of that sort and make it a fun game night!

I can't wait to see how the fans react to Jagr and Talbot!

I just hope Sidney gets back to full health again, he is a heck of a player, and in my opinion a great role model for my boys. We even named one of our cats Sidney after him. The Pens are my 1b team, with the Bruins 1a, growing up Mario Lemieux was my favorite player, Jagr was my second favorite player, I hate the Flyers, but they are my oldest son's favorite team. :x Boooo Jagr!!!

Ours was good, but busy. We still have a full house.

Had to go grocery shopping today, all we had left was ham, Christmas cookies, and chocolates :-D

How are you all coming with the post Christmas blues? I am hanging in, but a bit sad just the same. Sounds of the seasons helps, as well as Hallmark movies for the rest of the week.

I got some not so good news from my doctor over the phone the day before Christmas Eve. She was vague, so I don't have all of the details, but will share more when I know more. That has been on our minds ever since, so Christmas was bittersweet. Not trying to be a downer..

I'm very grateful to have my family here, so just trying to balance it all & still be a good hostess! I miss you guys & hope all is well in your ends of the world!

Wednesday ... workload continues, along with a sickening headache. Was hoping to slip away home, but more work has come in. We'll see how long I can hold out.

So funny you should mention Hair dye! I just woke up from a dream where I dyed my hair blonde.lol Which is really nuts because I have a buzzed hair cut and it's black I would look like a freak with blonde hair...but in my dream I was dying it myself in the bathroom...dream analyst anyone????

IANAA, but it could be as simple as the Big Change you're expecting in your life, and wondering if it'll "look good on you." Since you were dyeing your hair yourself, I'd say that even if you feel uncertain, you feel in control of the situation.

My tree is still up but believe it or not last night I did put a few decorations off and packed them back up... I still have the angel on top and it's lighted of course...Brandi is the type of person that things the 26th is time to take it down...I am trying to change her way of thinking. I plan to take it down and all my indoor lights off on the 2nd of Jan...

My wife lets me keep up my decorations as long as I want, I just let her put the furniture or decorate the rest of the year how she wants, so if I want to keep a tree up until February, I will get "the look" but she won't say anything. cheesy

For me, the Christmas Blues start on New Year's Day, after the tree is all down and decorations all put away. Every year i always get teary eyed taking down the decorations with my family. My mom always reminds me that it is Christmas in my heart all year because of Jesus.

On Jan 7th I will be taking down my grandma's tree which will be hard because we know this could have been her last Christmas especially since people say if your elderly and your spouse passes, the left behind spouse could pass anytime after that

I take mine down usually on new years day, or if busy the next day.
My mom is now in her 80's and we treasure every Christmas we have with her.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is a cold morning here but we are supposed to get up into the mid 40's this afternoon. The snow we got yesterday has pretty much melted already but it looks like we may get some more on sunday. I need to clean out some of my kitchen cabinets today to make room for some new dishes that I got and my new waffle and mini donut makers. Then it will be off to the Pines to enjoy the party. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst week in the whole year to be sick or needing to get in touch in a Doctor!! I have called about 5 so far today and if they are not off skiing the swiss alps the others office is closed till the 3rd of jan. when he comes back from a Carribbean Cruise! I must be good to be a Dr These days!!

people are not expected to get sick this time of the year. You are supposed to give your doctors the gift of perfect health for at least a week so that they can vacation!

Merry Christmas my Christmas friends!!!!!

What a beautiful December 25 here. Santa left some great gifts for the boys, you should have seen LC's face when he opened his gift from Santa, it was absolutely priceless, he received a standing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that talks and nose glows, he was so shy when he saw it. JP got a Nintendo DS game from Santa, he was also very thrilled, both boys received exactly what they wanted most from Santa. My wife and boys treated me very well also, I got my Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Champs hat, a DVD, a new Wii game, a Christmas ornament that the boys made a recording for me on, and a new book. Of course the big gift for all was a new Wii for all of us.

I want to appreciate each and everyone of you, you can't imagine how much it means to me to be a part of this group, especially when times get a little rough in the real world, to be able to turn here for encouragement, and help is such a great thing. I have been here for nearly 2 years now, and I cannot stand to miss a day not coming here at least once. I am going to spend this day with my family, but you are all in my thoughts as we celebrate this glorious day.

We went to breakfast with the fam and then to Mass. I was not very Catholic-like. I was almost giddy thinking that we would hit 30,000 posts while I was at church. I probably should be saying the Rosary right now to atone for my sins!!!
