Valerie is only showing her schedule up to march right now but we should see July by the end of April. The 25th of July falls on a Wednesday this year so it will be interesting to see if they do it the weekend before or the weekend after.

I agree with the cooler summer comment. I love summer just as much as everyone else, but I seriously roasted my butt off. I went to my cousin's graduation party near the 4th of July and I thought I was going to die. It was in the 90's here in Pittsburgh and the humidity was up extremely high. There was no breeze and extreme sun, I remember just wanting to leave ASAP! You can't even eat when it's that hot because you feel sick. We had some very hot months and I just don't like it. I like a day when it's in the mid 70's and I can relax with the windows open and no AC.

It was that hot here too in Central Pa and I was just shy of 2 weeks of being due with my son and I kept hoping and praying that I could hold out, but because it was so hot and me working so hard at work, my water broke around 1:00 pm on the 7. I stood no chance!

I was just thinking I will probably go out to the Goodwill shop and the DVD trade in store next week to see the "new" Christmas stuff they got in after everyone takes everything down, and gets rid of what they don't want.

Let me tell you about wind in California. One year, I had to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge in 80 mph plus wind AND rain. I was petrified, to say the least. When I got home, electricity was off in several counties, trees were down everywhere, and our fence blew down. We just finished replacing the fence a few weeks ago!!!

The wind outside is nuts! It always scares me when we get severe winds because there are tons of trees behind my bedroom, and a few of the larger ones are very old and shaky. My parents offered to have them cut down because if they fall they'll hit my room - but no one will have it done. It's so windy that my grandpa won't even come over for New Years dinner now!

But for now - winter is starting! We're supposed to get some snow in the next couple of days and the strong winds are supposed to continue. We have been having constant gusts since about noon that are over 50 mph!

I haven't made any progress on my calendar because I got sidetracked by free book downloads on FB. Then I had to update my Shelfari status - I only read 107 books last year, down from 111 the year before. I blame it on Stephen King's Under the Dome - took me almost two weeks to get through that one with it's 1000 pages plus, most of which was rather slow-going. I am currently reading Debbie Macomber's When Christmas Comes, which is the basis of her latest Hallmark movie. Good book!

I need to get working on my calendar. Have a MERRY day!!!!!!!!!!

I am off to the store to pick up some ingredients for the ham sauce. The recipe is REALLY old that I got from an older (in her 90s) lady at church. She gave me two recipes, one of them from her grandma!!! It is Hubby's favorite; he even puts it on his mashed potatoes!

That had to have been scary! Why wasn't the bridge shut down due to severe conditions?

We are getting the same thing down here in Indy. At least these 50mph wind gusts are showing me where I need to add some more caulking.

Okay, guys, close your ears. With my last child, I was sort of leaking, but no pain. I went in to work (70 miles from home), putting a garbage bag over the seat of my new car. Got in to work and water broke big time. I sped home and figured it a CHP or police office stopped me, I would be home free. I was rushing home to wash my hair and take a shower before heading to the hospital!!!
