CM3, how many badges do you need to prove you are worthwhile to us?????? You are a beautiful lady inside and OUT! We love you!
(I must admit that I get annoyed with photos of myself at times too so I guess it's a girl thing to not like our pictures being taken). =)
I sure hope you can beat those blues. Remember those badges prove you are the Christmas Queen. *We bow to you* cheesy
Seawaters: I read every one telling you they hope you are well, I obviously missed the post that said you are not well, but of course I want you to be well, so i hope you are well, and take some time for yourself!! all the best!!!
Merry Carey is of course totally right! Exterior beauty is not at all that important as having a good heart! But I do understand your need to feel pretty. And I just want you to realize: Phone camera's SUCK! they don't show your beauty, they make you look old and pale when you aren't (and i can tell, i am 23 and i look 83 when i picture myself with my phone!) and sometimes you are tired and look less pretty, this doesn't say anything! Don't think badly of yourself! (this is so much more fun to write than writing about human rights abuse!)
MerryCarey: good luck on your medical tests, hope all is well!

Good morning MMC!
I was up way too late last night but it didn't matter. I knew no matter how tired I was at work this morning I had something to look forward too, reading this thread will all of you. And tonight? My first Wednesday at the Pines, I can't wait.
Also wanted to mention, I saw someone post about 40 pages ago haha about a USB Christmas tree. I jumped on Amazon yesterday and purchased one that I will keep at the office. This way, in one more way, I'll have Christmas with me everyday!
Good morning, Christmas family! I hope you all have a great day today. I just had myself a light breakfast and I am going to get ready and head to Walmart & Target to get some grocery shopping done. Today was supposed to be much warmer than yesterday (which only made it to 19F for a high) but right now it is only 17F. The weather stations were all saying it is supposed to be at least in the mid-30's today, but I really don't see that happening. As much as I don't want to venture out in the bitter cold, I need some groceries and they are now calling for snow tomorrow. In case we would get a few inches, I would not want to drive.
I am going to buy the ingredients to make some pretzel & peanut crusted chicken either Friday or Saturday - yum!
Talk soon!
I go in Friday to have a lump checked out. Thanks for thinking of me!
Only 11 more days until the deadline for the video, photo, and essay contest!!!!
http://www.mymerrychristmas.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31754
I hope to see a lot of entries.
Of course if you watch the first part of my video on there you'll realize that you are all competing for second place!! Especially since the second part of my video is where I break out my secret weapons.
Did you get that recipe here in the recipe thread? If not can you share it there - it sounds so yummy!!!
Nope, the recipe was from my aunt! I would love to share. My mom and I were watching Rachael Ray's top 10 recipes from 2011 and she had her own version of peanut/pretzel chicken, so it reminded us that we were really feeling for it and to pick up the stuff this week.
I'll post the recipe and a picture!
Most of the free books that you find for Nook and Kindle are in the public domain (in the U.S., that generally means published before 1923). There are some good ones out there, but the free books can also suffer from lousy formatting. But if they're free, you haven't lost anything by trying.
Archive.org, Google Books, and gutenberg.org have tons of free public-domain books for download. Many are not Kindle-compatible, though. It takes tech-savvy to convert the files and manually load them onto a Kindle.
MerryCarey: good luck on your medical tests, hope all is well!
MerryCarey: praying all will be well!

Holy cow, 'Star.I found it!!!
Some of you may remember before Christmas I was searching everywhere for a Christmas table runner I knew I had bought earlier in the year. Well, it finally turned up. It was in a box in the spare room closet. Along with 4 sets of brand new lights and gift bags.
So this coming Christmas, my tree will now have about 800 lights on it. I bought 4 strings of lights at an after Christmas sale this year. It is going to look great!!!
(I did say I wanted more lights on the tree)
