I am soooo behind. Ballgames, working late nights, early morning, and long hours. I have one more night of ballgame duty and I will catch up Saturday morning. Going to need two pots of coffee to do all this catching up! Hope everyone is well!

Today our once little ***** cat, turns 7 years old.
Weighing in at nearly 27 lbs.
As much as he's made our lives a struggle at times, he has taught us a thing or two about patience.

I love this. By the way, I had an appointment with my plastic surgeon yesterday in addition to the MRI. He talked with me for a long time, and finally I said, "Are you Canadian?" He said, "Yes, I am. How did you know?" I said, "Well, you just now said, 'out and about' with a Canadian accent!" He gave me a hug before I left!!!

we are having bands of snow coming off the lake, so it works like this...

" we shovel the walk , it snows real hard then stops, we shovel the walk, it snows real hard then stops.....so we stopped shoveling the walk and now it is snowing real hard again!"

Good evening MMC friends. Hope you're all having a great evening. Nothing new here. Sorry I haven't been replying to all of the posts in the last few days, but I have been spending a lot of time with DH and the kids. I feel that really is the most important thing anyway!

It is currently snowing here right now. We're supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight. It looks so pretty.

Well, I am going to try to read some of the countdown. I work tonight, then I am off until Sunday night!

All I can say is it wouldn't be so bad for you if you would send the snow my way!!!! No matter what: BE CAREFUL!!!

Hey everyone! Looks like I'm going to be stuck in tomorrow. The meteorologists were only calling for an inch of snow from this evening to tomorrow morning, and we already have three. I looked out the window and it is a complete white out. They are calling for more snow tomorrow, tomorrow night, and some Saturday. I really can't afford to be missing class but I'm going to have to if the roads are bad!

Good morning to all!

I have today off work! Yippie! Movie day for me. I havent had a day to myself in a long time. How is everyone doing? Anyone getting ready for this Christmas yet? We had a bad storm hit with blowing snow and white-out conditions yesterday. 32 car accident on the 402. CRAZY. It seems like when we get snow everyone but me forgets how to drive. Well, back to my movies. Wanted to pop on in and see if everyone is being good LOL. Ill be reading posts today too!

have a great day! I will be in London this afternoon to pick up my daughter, glad the snow had stopped for now.

Ahhhh - I just found some pictures on my computer from Christmas!

- These are plates my mom and I bought this year. I love them! I love anything that has to do with Santa or snowmen lol.

- This one was Christmas morning, lol. My brother is 24 and I am 20, we were still so excited to open presents. I miss that little gingerbread house (top left) - you stick a candle in it and the smoke comes out of the chimney!

- This is a small tree that we have in the kitchen. There used to be white lights on it but my parents replaced it because we love colored over here. This was so nice to gaze at while I ate dinner!

These pictures make me miss Christmas so much! I don't even care about the presents, I will just take staring at my decorations and watching Christmas movies. Everyone really is in a better mood during the holiday season. I am about to go in Christmas movie withdrawal, I might have to watch the Santa Clause 2 or Jingle All the Way tonight!

Finding these pictures made my Friday even better. Two classes today and then hopefully I can relax for the weekend. We are supposed to get anywhere from 1-5 inches of snow tonight, so we will see what happens!

My grandchildren were over earlier and watching Mickey's Christmas Carol. I said, "oh no, there's Scrooge"! My grandson looked at me and said, "I thought his name was Steve"? I said, "Ebeneezer Steve"??? He said, "yes". :lol:

That is so cute.
But I don't think at Christmastime when you say that person is such a "Steve" it has the same effect. cheesy

Just checking in before bedtime. It's nice to sit in bed with the netbook and catch up. If I could ring for tea or cocoa, it would be perfect!



Huh! It hasn't started out here yet. (Not that I'm looking forward to clearing the walkways and the car tomorrow morning before the commute ...)

The snow started around 6:30 last night, and ended while we were sleeping, only got like 1.5 inches, but it is the stuff that if you sneeze your driveway is clear. cheesy Nice and fluffy!

How funny! Wayne and I keep talking about "Ebeneezer Steve" and think the same. Not sure it's going to work but we are getting a good laugh out of it.

So now when you are around the Christmas grumps we can say, "stop being such a Steve"! It will be funny to see the look on their face. =)
