I love the sound of its being one month closer to Christmas. That's a great way to mark the time!!!

Hi Everyone TGIF!

So glad that January is almost over and we are one month closer to the Christmas season! Been a hectic couple weeks for me, looking forward to the weekend to just chill out and relax. Hope everyone is doing well and in good spirits!

Good afternoon Dear Christmas family !!

Exciting and unexpected news!!!

We adopted another furchild today!!! I don't know what to say....she was all alone in her cage as her sister had just been adopted.... She is just 8 weeks old ...part bloodhound and part golden retriever and her coat is black !!

She needed a mommy and daddy and both our hearts just broke at the thought of leaving her....so now she has a new family !!! I want to be the best mommy she could possibly have xo. I will post pics as soon as I have a moment ...wish me luck dear Christmas family!

Oh I almost forgot ....her name is Hermione !!!! xo

Hubby and I are going down to the Elks Lodge for hors d'oeuvres. He has to set up the tracks for the Pinewood Derby tomorrow.

I hope everyone is doing well this evening. We had some warm weather today, AGAIN! I think winter has passed us right up. Maybe February will bring some cooler temps.

Well, my Dr. appt went okay I guess, he wants me out of work for another 3 weeks, I have something called plantar fibromosa which is the partial tearing of the tendon/ligament, the doctor said the only real thing to help it is rest. I do have an appointment in 12 days to have it checked out again, I am hoping it will be better after that, because I have no vacation time left after next week. Arrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!

I hope it heals quickly Xmas!!!!!!!

The cake is baked and iced, just have to put on the fondant. Kitchen is clean again, decorations for the cake are made and drying, will paint in the morning. Dropped my daughter at work. Now I am ready to drop.

Ahhhh....home.....I'm so tired of basketball....I mean I love watching kids but hate pulling duty....I wasn't supposed to work tonight...but one of the other admins got sick.....so since I'm the AD, I had to fill in. Saturday School in the morning at 7:00....will it ever stop? LOL.

I am having a great movie night with my mom. Received a disappointed quiz score in Meteorology tonight, however The quiz had some insane questions on it - my cousin is in the class with me and didn't do well either. I studied, read the chapter, and did the lab - yet I still did pretty badly. Ugh, lovely start to the new semester.

Anyways, time for movie #2!
