Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here in central Indy with a high in the mid 40's. I need to do some stuff around the apartment this morning and then I might head out to some of the events here in town. I'm still debating if I should attempt to go down town again tonight. It sounds like there was trouble last night with a group of people destroying a cop car and now the police are going to be carrying gas masks with them tonight. So maybe I'll just stay home. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

How far do you live from Downtown Indy? If you to decide to go be careful but have fun!!!

I'm here at the store again, cooking fresh-made sausage, bacon, eggs & biscuits. I ground some breakfast blend coffee this morning, and it smells good! Come on down; the highway out front is wide enough for that Lear jet!

Yum!!! Seawaters I'll be waiting at the end of the runway.

Here's another interesting bit of information for you. Did you know that they actually play a practice super bowl? The NFL and NBC brought in a local high school team to do a complete run through so they could make sure all of the camera angles are right and to make sure all of the replay systems are working. They even had them run the same plays the Patriots and Giants are expected to run.

Did they have a statue stand in for a Bill Belichick press conference? cheesy

They also do that for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I was a cameraman for one of them and they do a run through really early on Thanksgiving morning and then they do it all over again but this time it's for real.

Good morning,

A nice looking day here, just wish there was a coating of snow on the ground though. LC woke up before 5am this morning to run to the bathroom and has been awake since, once he wakes up he doesn't go back to sleep and the rest of us pay for it. I have a great hockey game to watch today, my 2 favorite teams the Bruins and the Penguins play each other. My foot is feeling good this morning, I will be off of it most of the day.

I am missing Christmas today though.

Have a great day!

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry I've been MIA for the past couple of days. It's been so busy in my little life. Work is still busy and I've been working exta time still. Thursday into Friday I worked 13 hours and yesterday I was exhausted from it. It's just really starting to catch up with me.

This weekend is my weekend off. Yesterday was my first day off. I slept only about 2 1/2 hours and then got back up to do running around. When we came home, I laid back down around 9 and slept in until 9:30 this morning. It felt great, but now I have a lot of catching up on here to do. It feels great to be back here.

Spending some time already with the kids this morning felt great, too. I haven't got to see them as much as I would like to.

Well, I am off to reading. I am sorry I have missed so much. If I reply to message that seems to late, don't think I'm crazy... cheesy

Just want to share this with all of you.

During the Bruins games between periods they do a thing called Mini 1 on 1, this 11year old kid named Oliver Wahlstrom scored an amazing goal:

He did an even better goal a few years ago:

This kid has a lot of talent and puckhandling skills, maybe a future pro.

You never have to apologize, we all understand. cheesy I hope you enjoy your weekend off.

I'm about 18 miles from the center of downtown.

Oh cool...I had no idea you were that close! I remember when it was in jacksonville it was fun but the crowds were crazy..that city did not have enough rooms and they ended up bringing cruise ships into the bay downtown and using those as 'floating hotels'...I think that was 2005 although I may be wrong. It seems like yesterday.

I am about to help Brandi get salad mixed up for tonight...we are having our next door neighbor (julie) over she has had a very rough week with losing her dog...she is really fun to be around though, her husband died about this time last year and she is maybe in her late 40's,she has talked to brandi about dating and how she does not know if she is ready or not,and brandi told me to be on the lookout to maybe introduce her to some guys at work,I can't think of anyone off the top of my head. Im terrible at matchmaking,I need to leave that up to Brandi...lol anyhow Julie and some of Brandi's teacher friends are coming over tonight for salad and blackened salmon, and Apple pie for dessert! I need to go and help brandi as we speak she is getting aggrivated at me.lol have a great day everyone!

how is the baby doin bulldawg? i remember those first few weeks as very special......and very tiring and sometimes nerve-wrecking...but of course it is all worth it

Hey thanks so much for asking...Jordan is doing great...the most amazing thing is we get up maybe 2 times max at night,he is going monday to his month check up!!! this whole last year has been amazing, and I am finally getting confidence about being a dad!

Anyone else having some crazy winds? I walked out onto the front porch to grab the mail and I almost blew away!!

Stuffed cabbage is in the oven! We also had some leftover meat so we rolled it into meatballs and they are in the oven, too. We're taking a little break and then I am going to make some homemade mashed potatoes! I love using the masher on the potatoes -it's the best part.

As I mentioned, then I will either be attempting cupcakes or maybe brownies!

This all sounds delicious! I am sure it was! cheesy

Next time y'all play Uno and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, call me. I love those games. I am sure you are glad hubby does not have to go to China. On the other hand, I could go in his place!!!

GOOD A.M. YA'LL!
hubby & i tried to hang out together last night so i wasn't on very much. my son, his fiance, fiance's younger sis, & my daughter were in the dining room playing Uno & then "are you smarter than a 5th grader?" i was sleepy so went to bed early (as usual).
oh yeah hubby came home yesterday & said he doesn't think he's going to China. a few @ work discussed it & decided he's needed much more here. high five, hip hip hooray!!:???: he does go to Tennessee this coming week but only for 3 days.
anyhoo, i think it's gonna be rainy & cloudy here today & tomorrow. not sure what we're gonna do.... i guess there's always cleaning! yuck. now tomorrow evening it's all bowl time!!

Hubby and I are going to do the same. I am fixing spinach-cheese swirls, smokies in a blanket, meatballs in a honey hickory sauce, quacamole and chips, chili, and something sweet (haven't decided yet).

Good morning! Nice hot cup of coffee...watching some NFL football...probably going to lay here and be lazy all day today! Wait, I think that's tomorrow...

Got a little bit of work to go do and some cooking. No big party for us. The wife and I are probably just going to hang out this weekend and enjoy the game tomorrow in the comfort of our home. Sounds like a heck of a weekend!

I'll be there soon. I need lots of energy for wig huntin' today. Who wants me to stop by???

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm here at the store again, cooking fresh-made sausage, bacon, eggs & biscuits. I ground some breakfast blend coffee this morning, and it smells good! Come on down; the highway out front is wide enough for that Lear jet!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
