If you could keep Bekki in your thoughts and prayers, I'd appreciate it.
HoHoHello and Merry Super Sunday!
So my friend who discovered the tumor last week had her review in Sudbury and they found out that it's not the size of a dime on her brain, it's the size of a looney and it's inside the brain. The doctor said it was likely building up over more than a year. Due to the seizure she experienced last weekend and her young age, they have her on a fast track for surgery, they hope to remove it within the next six weeks. She's handling the news well and trying to make the people around her feel okay by saying she's "fine". Keeping a positive attitude is really important. I've talked with her a few times and always wait for her to say goodbye and hang up first. My husband watched these two youngsters fall in love and he's so worried for both of them. I'm planning on taking her out next Saturday with a few other gals from work so she can enjoy some local theatre talent and listen to an friend of ours perform two songs as a rehearsal for a video he's making in a few weeks. I don't want her staying inside just waiting for her appointment. My husband's so caring, he doesn't want to see her yet because he's worried he'll get emotional and he doesn't want her to know how scared he is for her and Steve. I reminded him of how our ex-daughter-in-law survived and that cancer - even brain cancer - isn't a death sentence, we just have to stay positive and give her hope. He agrees, but still isn't ready to see her. I think it's sweet of him to care that much.

Brandi just called me at work to tell me that our next door neighbor julie just called her to tell her jack russel terrier was hit by a car(and killed) on the road in front of our house...
I bet they never expected to meet the mayor!Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!
We're running around like crazy trying to get ready for church. I worked at Bernie's all day yesterday, and my feet hurt from standing up for 13 hours. Poor me, lol! I closed the store and wnt to a prime rib dinner last night, so it wasn't all bad.
While I was working, I noticed a couple walking around our train depot taking pictures. The depot is now owned by the city. We restored it and we let people use it for parties, family reuinions, etc. Anyway, they were looking in the windows , so I hollered across the street that they could go inside, if they wanted. They were worried that someone might complain, but I told them I was the mayor and it wasn't a problem. LOL
It turns out, they were from PA vacationing in FL, and they decided to take backroads home to check out small-town America. They were very nice, and very complimentary of the town and Bernie's store, so I have decide they are very smart folks indeed!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly but sunny day here in Central Indy. Well after all of the hype and all of the preparations it's finally game day. They are showing parking lots downtown and it's going to cost you $495 dollars if you want to park next to the stadium. A little further out is still running $100. There are still 1000 tickets available if anyone wants to head up. Well I'm off to clean my apartment. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are looking pretty good on our end ... we both got our vacation days approved yesterday, then Mr. nailed down the reservations after he got home. Now we just have to wait for June to arrive!
I received my test grade in Statistics and my score was an 88% which is a B+! I am pretty happy about that since I am not much of a math person. He said the class average was a 63% so I am glad I did well.
Tomorrow is my mom's throat surgery
I'm having Cupcakes, Cheese Dip, Mozzarella Sticks, Steak fries, and Brats. Sugar has me wanting potato skins too now so maybe I'll make them also.
good midday everyone! Me and brandi went to morning services but I came home a little early to cook some chicken fajitas(sp) for some friends that are joining us after church gets out at noon. Today is her and Jordans first day going to church so she is going to be showing him off too I can't believe our church is not meeting tonight.I may sound rigid in my thinking but I simply can't believe they are going to cancel sunday night services for a ballgame!!!! but of course no one will say it's for that reason, they are meetting extra long this morning until 1230 then eating afterwards then just canceling tonights service. BUt do not for one minute ponder it's because of the superbowl even though its every year on superbowl sunday!lol.ugh...I was brought up very very religious and I guess more rubbed off on me than I thought.lol excuse my rant. but I don't like hypocrosy and I think if the elders just came out and said it was because of the game I would feel better about it.anyways I better get busy have a great afternoon everyone!
Congrats on a great grade! That is wonderful!
How is your mom doing? I have been saying lots of prayers.
