Got coffee!

My computer is a bit slow today - never had a problem before and I only have two windows open at the same time, hope it's only due to running diagnostics while surfing.

mine gets slow from time to time, most often I never figure out why. (but then again, I never figure out why my computer does anything or how to get it to do somethings LOL)

Thanks for keeping her in your prayers! She is alright, slowly recovering from the surgery. She thought that she would be feeling all better by now because she usually bounces back quickly from surgeries. Her head is foggy, she feels like she's in a daze, and she just isn't herself. Hopefully she'll start getting better soon - she gets her stitches out tomorrow so we will see what the surgeon says!

glad to hear your mom is recovering. Getting stitches out and bandages off will help to make her feel better.

You're choices sound good, too! I never even thought about sweets! DH just went to run to the store really quick. Maybe I should have him pick something up, that way we don't have to make something!

I am sure I will be making fries too, that way EA can have some. She won't eat wings, so I will also be making her chicken fingers and I doubt she will eat onion rings, so I will be making her fries!

sweets, did I hear you need sweets? Should have ordered a super bowl cake from me!

Got done cleaning the dog (dung) from the backyard(sorry if tmi) but it's what I do on sundays usually! The lunch group is gone we had a good time. The food was wonderful and I have to go back to the gym first thing in the moring because I feel like I have gained 10 pounds since friday. That means leaving at 545am the gym is across the road from work on base so I can work out 45 min and go to work by 7am,it really works out better like that. Since I have quit smoking back in early December plus go to the gym mon-fri since Jan 1st,I do feel like a new person and I am even sleeping better at night.
Who all is ready for the big game???I am not as eager as some years..I guess it's because I really don't care about either team too much. I have to watch though because my northern friend will be on the phone in the morning gloating I am sure,he knows my disdain for patriots.lol anyhow...I will check back in later..have a great afternoon everyone!
PS!!! the weather here is HOT and humid feels like May not feb..I think it actually may cool off in the morning though...this week lows will be in the mid 40's that is pathetic but that is how it's been this year!!

first day in church, special. Do you baptise or dedicate children where you attend?
We have 2 services in the morning, but none at night.
Could it be it was cancelled for other reasons and you are just assuming it is for the game? If you really want to know, ask, that way there will be no misunderstanding or hard feelings. Maybe the extra long service and lunch was for something special, unless you have that every Sunday.

This is my third Feb. at this church and so far every superbowl Sunday we have dinner after 11 am services,then no evening service. I am just assuming,as are alot of the other members but to tell the truth it is the only church of my faith in this small town and the nearest other one is 2 hours away. so it's just one of those things I have to overlook...I have found just like in life and work,,there are always things you have to over look and I guess nothing and no one are perfect. the thing is everyone knows it;s for that and we even joke about it...but we joke about it but know its the truth..it's actually humourous I guess.lol

oh well, I'll bet most would have no problem with it. ( which is probably one of those obvious things that everyone knows but no nobody talks about because nobody is supposed to talk about what nobody knows)
We occasionally switch to only one service when something special is going on, but it is always well advertised in advance so everyone knows what is going on. And if you understood all that you should join the board! LOL

Not looking forward to the Halftime show either. Somebody before mentioned that they didn't know if Madonna was relevant anymore, she never was to me.:lol:

good a.m. ya'll, my mc family.
last evening was a not so good one. my son came home from class saying there's still the issue w/ his tuition & the computer has booted him back out of the system. uurrgghh. we thought it was taken care of 3 weeks ago but....not.
the man over admissions called last night & talked to him & is giving him a 30 day extension & he can still go to class but has to get all his prof. to sign this paper again saying he's been in class.some of you may remember me telling ya'll he went through this a couple weeks ago. as soon as our taxes come in we will pay it.
we are an avg. family & do not have lots of extra $. our son needs another car to go to school next fall in a town over & his is terrible on gas. the $ we were getting was going to him another car & daughter a car w/ whatever he makes off selling his going on the other also. (no we're not getting a big return just cheap cars) anyhoo i felt so bad for him last night because he knows if we pay the tuition we can't get him the car. he's scrambling trying to figure out something, he's going back to financial aid this morning to see if there's anything. as a mom it breaks my heart, i wish we had the extra $. i keep thinking this will help him become more aware of how things work & how important it is to get things done on your own but as a mom....ya'll know what i mean right?
please say a prayer all works out today for him.

Hey thanks so much for asking...Jordan is doing great...the most amazing thing is we get up maybe 2 times max at night,he is going monday to his month check up!!! this whole last year has been amazing,and I am finally getting confidence about being a dad!

i am very happy for you. it sounds like ya'll were blessed w/ a very good baby. you are gonna be an amazing daddy!

This is so funny, Made. I dreamed about you and some of the others on the forum. We were all at a celebration at the beach. I think it was Myrtle Beach.

A nice looking day here, just wish there was a coating of snow on the ground though. LC woke up before 5am this morning to run to the bathroom and has been awake since, once he wakes up he doesn't go back to sleep and the rest of us pay for it. I have a great hockey game to watch today, my 2 favorite teams the Bruins and the Penguins play each other. My foot is feeling good this morning, I will be off of it most of the day.

I am missing Christmas today though.......i miss the christmas season everyday there is not a day goes by that i dont think about it in some way...you wood think i loved it lol



Which ones did you like the best?! I always enjoy the Bud Light ones, especially if they have the Clydesdales.

actually found some Christmas stuff still out in the mall today! When I saw this one talked about stars, you can see why I just had to have it!

I have not had much time other than to just quick check through the posts today.
We have just return from watching the movie Courageous at church (I was in charge of making the popcorn) What an inspiring movie, recommend it highly to everyone.
Now, I am tired and going upstairs to read before lights out.

isn't that movie wonderful? i had watched it a few weeks ago & mentioned it on here & bradmac said he had just gotten it & was gonna watch it too. i've noticed in my town lots of churches were showing that movie this weekend too.
