I'm still debating if I should attempt to go down town again tonight. It sounds like there was trouble last night with a group of people destroying a cop car and now the police are going to be carrying gas masks with them tonight

It's horrible that things like this have to happen during these times.

Here's another interesting bit of information for you. Did you know that they actually play a practice super bowl? The NFL and NBC brought in a local high school team to do a complete run through so they could make sure all of the camera angles are right and to make sure all of the replay systems are working. They even had them run the same plays the Patriots and Giants are expected to run.

They also do that for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I was a cameraman for one of them and they do a run through really early on Thanksgiving morning and then they do it all over again but this time it's for real.

Wow. That is so interesting. The things I never knew and I just learn everyday! This site just keeps amazing me!

Oh cool...I had no idea you were that close! I remember when it was in jacksonville it was fun but the crowds were crazy..that city did not have enough rooms and they ended up bringing cruise ships into the bay downtown and using those as 'floating hotels'

I remember those days of going on and on and on. Right now, though, I don't know how you do it all!!!

Once I crawl into bed and think that I have to get back up in just a few hours, I think to myself, "You're crazy!", but I keep telling myself I can do it. Then when it comes to the times when I am so tired that I am making myself sick or something, I try to slow down a little bit. I just keep on keeping on!

Hubby is taking me to the Crue concert tonight @ Hard Rock, so I'll have to find some of my old rock 'n roll clothes, lol. Should be fun!

Well, I think I am going to call it a night. I have to go nap for work tonight. I am on yesterday's posts. I am up to page 460 - which is pretty good being the fact I was at least 40 pages behind everyday up until today. I feel pretty good that I will get caught back up tomorrow!

If there's a big software update running in the background, it'll slow you down quite a bit. Especially a big Microsoft update.

My upgrades are scheduled to occur when I'm sleeping. Could have been a firewall thing. It acted up for a bit so I shut it down and started it up again. I think the problem has something to do with a script on FBook that makes my system run slower than usual so I'll just make sure when I'm visiting here that I close that window down. I'll check my stuff to see if anything needs upgrading, but I think it's a FB thing. Thanks.

good midday everyone! Me and brandi went to morning services but I came home a little early to cook some chicken fajitas

Mmmmm I haven't had fajitas since before Christmas. We eat them at home, but if we go out we order something else. I find them greasy in restaurants.

Yes your hubby seems a really caring person and so are you to take her out and try to make her enjoy herself shes lucky to no a person lke you . man are funny with sickness.
I know a few that had the same thing and they both are stll waking about. and the operation seems to be very stright froward those surgeons are doing that kinda operations every day.
But with the help of god and friends lke you and your hubyy she will make a full recovery

Thanks for that. Bekki thinks of me as a pseudo-mom at work because I'm old enough to be her mom, but not as demanding. She's younger than I thought. She said she'll be swinging by work this week to fill out paper work and hopes she'll find me for another hug. Hopefully she'll feel up to going out next weekend. It'll do her good.

Football - we don't seem to be viewing those new high-priced ads, I'm getting local stuff. I'll have to climb higher and see if I can get it somewhere else.

We don't get Animal Planet so I can't watch the Puppy Bowl.


And - Madonna - looked tame enough - I'm not a fan - but still didn't think it was a good performance.


Our snacks sound kind of boring after reading everyone else's menu. Next year, we'll spice it up a bit.

I guess I should turn on that instead of the News...I am such a News hound though,even if something drives me nuts and makes me upset I still watch the news...I guess I am one of those wierd people that 24 hours news cable shows are made for.!

I like the weather channel. Will do the news thing at least once a day, more often if something is going on that is important to keep track of.
