Very sad to hear Whitney Houston has passed away. One of the greatest voices and to see her voice be destroyed by drugs was also very sad.

I don't usually sign on over the weekend, but I wanted to give an update on DH. Surgery went well, home the same day. He's feeling much better today, eating solid foods. Almost back to normal! It's cold today & tomorrow. Lows in '10s & '20s, highs in '30s. We had forecast for a dusting to 1/2 inch of snow, but just saw a few flurries. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Heck of a day.....
Started this morning around 7:30 with Saturday school. After that, came home and did a little cleaning, took the wife out to eat, came home and did a little more cleaning....and now it is time for bed.
I'm kinda lost. I don't know what to do tomorrow with no football or racing...weird. Probably will just work....or nap....either way...good day.
But it will start here tomorrow....with coffee and you...see ya then!

Good morning! Just woke up and heard about Whitney Houston..RIP.. The grammy's are tonight and I heard on the news that they will have a special tribute for here,so I may watch it this year! Anyone who grew up in the 80's knows that when you think about that ERA whitney houston comes to mind..that voice was amazing. It's just so sad,I feel so bad for her daughter too,I remember watching her reality show she had a few years ago and her daughter is probably like 17 now. just sad!
We are going to church(I think) Although I have not discussed it with brandi it is frigid outside it is 20F whith wind chills around 13F which for south Georgia may as well be 50 below!!! I guess I will go to church if brnadi thinks it;s too cold to take the baby out in and it probably is. Other than that 2 more days until court to testify and I am trying to think positive! hmm ah and it is suppose to get down to 25F again tonight so when I leave in the morning at 530 for the gym it will be COLD! I think even I may go out and warm up the car before I just jump in and leave! I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday! oh PS>>>>we had a great time watching movies last night. Just a few more months and we will be watching Christmas movies again for the 2012 season!!!

Downright bone-chilling here where we have started out at 23 degrees, the coldest morning of the season so far. Thank goodness the high winds of yesterday have subsided.
But after today, a warming trend will kick in that will be well-appreciated by yours truly!

Good Sunday morning dear Christmas family....still really shocked about Whitney Houston's passing....I never bought any of her albums but when I heard her sing she gave me goosebumps. I loved her in The Preacher's Wife...how sad not only for the world but for her mother and daughter.....I will be praying for her family
Not a lot going on today ...Hermione will soon be too big for her mommy to pick up .....it is always so amazing to me that the love from a furchild makes me feel so special and loved unconditionally....including kitties....I know there are some who say they don't like cats but that HAS to be because you don't have any ....they are just affectionate in their own way as dogs....that is why I love both dogs and cats.....heck,I love all animals except snakes but I still would not be mean to one because even they have feelings
It is quite frigid here and I am not going anywhere today.....we will probably have a fire in the fireplace and hopefully take it easy when my husband gets home from work....my left hand/wrist is killing me..,wondering if it might be carpal tunnel....no matter I have to keep going regardless just like all the rest of us do ...xo
I am thinking of replacing the figures in my nativity scene...I found one where Mary can hold the babe in her arms OR he can lay in the manger...it is so beautiful. !!!
I hope you all will have a wonderfully Christmassy Sunday and (((((Hugs))))) to all especially the fur kids and even the animal kids with no fur !!!xoxo

Sitting here drinking coffee...with nothing good on TV. Sounds like a Christmas movie is coming up! A quarter of the way back to the Christmas season....wow. Hard to believe! Seems like yesterday we went under 300 days and now it's at 275. It will be under 200 before we know it.
Today, we are planning on watching Moneyball and then watching "The Walking Dead" tonight. We LOVE this show. We started watching based on a friends recommendation on Netflix, then caught season 2 all in one day on AMC. Great show, if you like scary shows.
Well, gonna go check out the rest of the boards. See ya in a few!
