Good morning,

It's a frigid 3*F with wind chill of -9*F up here in Vermont, we are packing up, then heading to the bride and groom's brunch. Then we will be leaving for home.
The ceremony was great, my wife is feeling better, she was up and dancing with the bride and her other friend from high school. Didn't get to go tubing or anything but it was a great time up here. I miss the boys, but we will see them in a matter of hours.

I must prep to leave.

I cannot seem to shake this cold and it has gotten worse. I have to go to work today so I hope I do okay! I thought I would be better today. Maybe after I get up and around I will feel better. We will see!

Finally caught up. Life has been so crazy it's been hard to keep up. I have to work on my strategy. Today is going to be a busy day. I'm filming a flash mob and then working a wedding show. The flash mob should be fun. Going to be a long day but that's ok, it is the 1/4 mark which is amazing! It's going so quick. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and we'll see you soon.

This sounds so special. Make sure to send a pic. "Animal kids with no fur"--love it. Also, you can get a hand brace (I know Wal-Mart has them) that will help relieve some of the pain of carpal tunnel. The surgery itself is really easy and quick-healing.

I am thinking of replacing the figures in my nativity scene...I found one where Mary can hold the babe in her arms OR he can lay in the manger...it is so beautiful. !!!

Whoa - I slept in...a LOT lol! That's what I get for staying up until 2:30 AM. Now I just royally screwed myself for tonight and tomorrow. I'll never be able to fall asleep at a decent hour tonight nor will I be able to get up early tomorrow for classes.

It is only 15° Fahrenheit here so it is pretty cold. We aren't planning on going anywhere today with this cold weather and snow. I think we are going to order in pizza and subs for dinner - yum!

Seeing all of this snow puts me in the Christmas spirit. I might have to sneak a few carols in today!

Good Sunday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I have been LAZY all weekend! Yesterday I sat on the bed and drank coffee and watched Netflx to 2pm. Oh. My. Goodness. I NEVER do that! It was wonderful! Then we went to a couples baby shower for a younger cousin. It was at his brother Ed's house. Ed and I, while cousins, have also been best of friends for years, and we played in our band together for 20 years. Last night he played piano and we sang and had the best time!

It's time to put the band back together!!

It is a balmy 20 degrees here !! It is also snowing and blowing like February is SUPPOSED TO DO !!! With all the crazy weather, I am GLAD to see that the earth can still produce weather that is correct for the time of year. I was beginning to worry !!

Xmas - I hope your wife gets better soon !!! How awful to be sick when she is at an event to enjoy herself xo

Seawaters - I had meant to tell you. I have TONS of wigs including some Raquel Welch ones. It is not because of cancer that I have them but because I HATE HATE HATE my hair !! So I use one of them to make my hair look the way I want it. The Raquel Welch ones are amazingly real-feeling. My wigs are in all different shades of red as that is what my pretend hair color is and I have grown used to it. Now if only they had the equivalent of different faces we could put on .....a change would sure be better than the one I have !!

CAH and SIT - I hope you guys are okay and doing well !!

Jennifer - I have been treated as a hypochondriac for most of my adult life. I guess I am but just because that may be so does not mean the symptoms I have don't need attention. I am sure there is a physical reason why your mother is still foggy. I used to get like that too. Mine was mostly a medication side effect which I still think is what is causing your mom's problem. In time, when whatever it is is completely out of her system I think she will feel better, I hope so anyway.

Iliam - How is your Lily ?? My Lily is doing good now. She hid for the first couple of days but now she seems back to baseline. She gets her stitches out in a week.

Brad- Thank you for adding that wonderful photo to our group for pet lovers. I am sure you are right. Your Ben is with your dad. They will be waiting for you xo

I think you got some of our snow. We were supposed to get 2 to 4 inches, but it fizzled out into a tiny trace of snow and some rain. Annoying, because I rescheduled an appointment on the North Shore to avoid driving in the snow---now I have to get up super-early on Tuesday to drive up there for my appointment done before I go to work. The weatherman here owes me a couple hours' sleep!

CAH joins the cast of comedians here at MMC!!!

We went to a hole-in-the-wall cafe in Minneapolis that turned out to be what I think is the best in the world. The food was fantastic; they made their own ketchup that was the best I have EVER tasted, bar none; and they roasted their own coffee beans that was the best coffee I have ever tasted, too!!! We were there for a week, and we went there every day!!!

Do you remember the name of it? I'll have to try it someday. I have tons of family there, and spent so many summers with cousins in the suburbs. Love Minneapolis!

Downright bone-chilling here where we have started out at 23 degrees, the coldest morning of the season so far. Thank goodness the high winds of yesterday have subsided.
But after today, a warming trend will kick in that will be well-appreciated by yours truly!

It's so beautiful outside, I think I'll take Harlowe for a car ride in the mountains. She just loves to stick her head out the window & get some of that fresh air!

Hope you all are having a nice & relaxing weekend so far.

Hubby & I had a fun day together yesterday! We enjoyed The Woman In Black, pretty interesting story. I wouldn't say it was that scary, although I jumped a few times, but a pretty good ghost - mystery. It was only PG-13 afterall. Then, we had a drink & waited for our reservation time. We went to T-Bones in Red Rock, very beautiful steakhouse. Excellent food!! Best bernaise sauce ever!

...And onto more steaks today =) That's ok, I never get sick of them. Just like pizza!

Well, Harlowe is ready to go I think. Keeps staring at me, lol.

Good afternoon, everyone! Hope you're all having a great day! I just got up from sleeping for a little while. I had a terrible evening last night. Just when I thought I was starting to feel better, I discovered I had an ear infection.

At the start of the night, I felt like my ear was starting to fill up with fluid, then I couldn't hear anyone, then it got very painful. I went and saw the ER doctor about 5:30 because I knew I could never wait until Monday to see my family doctor. Sure enough, I had an ear infection, probably from this sinus infection I've had for over a week. He put me on an antibiotic now.

Anyway, nothing else knew here. My house smells great! We're having pot roast for dinner tonight. It's been cooking in the crock pot all day.

Well, I am off to read the posts.

Glad to hear Lily is feeling better. It usually takes a few days for them to get to feeling like themselves again.

Thanks for asking how I am feeling. I thought I was feeling better, but my ear really starting bothering me last night, so I had it looked at. I have an ear infection now. I'm on antibiotic now, so that should get it taken care of. I do get some sleep, depending on the day! My family is good! EA is starting to feel better. Thanks! How is your little family?
