I have my 3 year old son home with fever today..

I am just checking in as I haven't been here for a few days...I had to call off work today because of a degenerated disk in my back...

Happily, my step-niece came home from the hospital last night. She doesn't have a cast; only the rods in her arm and an ace-type bandage.

Kim and I just stayed in last night. She was supposed to go to Pilates, but pinched a nerve in her upper back.

I hope everyone heals up quickly!!!!!

I spoke to my grandmother today, her arm is healing up, but she went for a CT scan and they found some nodules in her lungs, they did some testing on her yesterday, it will be a few days until we find out what it is. Please say a prayer or keep her in your thoughts.

My prayers are on the way.

Of course I'll work out after eating it all, except I am small and have a fast metabolism so I can't gain weight no matter how hard I try.

Good afternoon,
I still don't know what the problem with my computer, but I can get here through Firefox, I have used Chrome since we have had this computer, but Chrome is not working at all, among other things. I did a few errands this morning, stopped by my job to pick up a few things, I saw my associate, and told her I should be back on Thursday, boy she was happy, she has picked up my slack since I have been out. I am really thankful for everything she has done.
Great to have someone like that to work with

Good afternoon everyone! This is going to be a great weekend! The weather is going to be wild here...maybe some severe weather,and I sure hope not but we need the rain...it's a tough situation to be in...needing the rain but tornadoes sometimes come with it!! we are suppose to have rain from tomorrow and by tomorrow night we could be getting as much as 3 inches...We are going to huncker down tomorrow and stay in all day tomorrow and tomorrow night watch Christmas movies,then sunday night we have our gusts arriving my sister and bro in law and 3 nieces and nephews!!! well I have to get ready for tonight and our big celebration!!! have a great friday night everyone!!! I know I sure will (hehe)!!!!!

My day was easy and tomorrow to i think about a hours work to get some stuff in the shop and thats me
My neighour who is not well . i have to go in a 9.40 and put her to bed. there is a neice in with her but god love her she is so scared of her falling with her. am not sure how she is gonna work during the night as the lady does get up to go the toilet and needs help . but think am gonna tell the neice to wrap my window or ring in.
That will be a nice sight for everyone. i still have my christmas p.js lol lol she might be better trying to do it herself.lol

Good morning fellow lovers of Christmas. It's a sunny and beautiful morning in middle America. This weekend I'm taking a road trip up to Michigan to visit my 3 siblings. My brother is coming up from Texas. It will be the first time since 2003 that we were all together at once. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

well igot off work a little early @ 4pm. i'm so ready for a nice weekend after the week we have had in the flower shop w/ valloween (valentine's day is a nightmare to us). really nice out right now. sunny & mild, 60-70f but tomorrow the rain comes in & settles over us for the weekend. it's ok though we will be together inside. big bro's party is tomorrow. doesn't sound like alot of planning went into it. my mama & s-i-l, i think, were waiting on me to plan it as i usually do all the "get togethers". not w/ the work schedule i've had the last 2 weeks!!
can't wait for my hubby to come home.
oh by the way (putting on my mommy super cape) my daughter made 3-A's & 1-B on her report card. the B was half a point from an A so hey...close enough to perfect for me. i'm really proud of her, she started chemistry & geometry this semester & was having a little trouble in geometry @ 1st. yaay for my baby girl huh? she's a sophomore & i hope she keeps up this hard work.

Wow,I can only imagine the horror and stress!!! Brandi worked at 1800-flowers when she was in college and said it was terrrible!!! Well I am glad you made it through!!! so I hope you have an extra nice and relaxing weekend ahead!!:whisper:
