Christmas Countdown - 2012

Friday, but not much of a weekend coming. The bad news is I'm working Saturday and Sunday, but the good news is that it should only be a couple hours each day, if everything goes according to schedule. (The agency is producing an ad based on a list that won't be released until Saturday. It happens every year on Presidents Day weekend ...) I'm glad it's a 3-day weekend for Presidents Day. We haven't planned anything because of the weekend work, but that's okay, as long as I can sleep late Monday! :wink:

This weekend I'm taking a road trip up to Michigan to visit my 3 siblings. My brother is coming up from Texas. It will be the first time since 2003 that we were all together at once.

We're leaving for the Smoky Mountains this afternoon! Finally! It'll just be a long weekend since we're coming home Monday, but I'm so ready to go! the kids are begging us to get them out of school early, so I might do it just to add to the excitement...LOL!

I'll have little or no internet access while I'm there, so I hope everyone has a great weekend! cheesy cheesy

I was just drinking a Coke and I went to grab something else on my desk and it flipped off and the whole can dumped out on my carpet! I know you are not supposed to rub - simply press it in and absorb the Coke - anything else to do? Even if I soak it all up, I'm guessing my carpet is still going to reek of Coke!

Jennifer, I usually just blot the stain with an old rag or paper towels to absorb it up as much as possible, then I'd use some carpet cleaner (test it or make sure it's color safe) whether it be Resolve, Arm & Hammer, Oxi Clean, etc. Be sure to follow the directions whatever they may be. Good luck! :grin:

You have your "in" jokes and there's things going on in here that the general public - anybody new, guests, anybody like that - won't understand. Good Friday Morning xmas buddies!!!!!!!!!!

I got up at the same time(430) BUT i COULD HAVE SLEPT UNTIL 5AM...oops sorry for the caps.lol anyway not much to say except TGIF!!!! it's been a long long week and tonight is our valentines night since we did not celebrate on tues. I can't wait....We are going to FIddlers Green..the nicest restuarant around then we are going to a park downtown that has a creek that runs through it...that is where she gets jewrlry!!! and I will already have set up a blanket with rose peddles and wine and strawberries and Kiwi...then I guess we will go home where I will get.....well you know(insert devil horns) I hope everyone has a great morning...I have to leave to go to the gym at 6am then work at 730.have a great morning!

I still don't know what the problem with my computer, but I can get here through Firefox, I have used Chrome since we have had this computer, but Chrome is not working at all, among other things. I did a few errands this morning, stopped by my job to pick up a few things, I saw my associate, and told her I should be back on Thursday, boy she was happy, she has picked up my slack since I have been out. I am really thankful for everything she has done.

I spoke to my grandmother today, her arm is healing up, but she went for a CT scan and they found some nodules in her lungs, they did some testing on her yesterday, it will be a few days until we find out what it is. Please say a prayer or keep her in your thoughts.

I'm happy to hear that your Grandmother's arm is healing well, xmas. I will pray for her that she gets good results on her other testing, and send some up for you as well!
