Good morning everyone! It was a coolish 46F with light rain this morning on the drive in the the gym at 535 this morning and then later on to work at 7! I did not even know it was suppose to rain today..but it was a nice surprise nonetheless. Work looks to be alot more bearable than yesterday was so I should be in a better mood Hope everyone has a great tuesday morning!

I put it away, but she still hasn't said anything about the other room that still has a bunch of snowmen out, including one that lights up that is wearing a Santa hat. Shhhhhhhhhh.

We're back from our long weekend in the Smoky Mountains!

I'm beat from driving for 6 hours, so I'll catch up in the morning.

its 3.47 here and what am doing up is more than i no !!!
Was in with my neighour and got her to bed. she does not like strangers putting her to bed ..
I sat until the marie currie sitter came in. and she was one of the ones i used to work with 5 yeras ago. so we had a good chat. she was trying to persuade me to come back even a few nights a week. her and me at that time wood have done the evening and night shifts to give the familys time to sleep. told her i wood think about it. i dont no but as it wood be hard with the shop and things but i always found it rewarding as you can see the stress and worry on familys. and if you can come in and help with even letting them get sleep .
Got the tablets for sasha well got her a injection to start and tablets . had no bother when down was ready for a row i guess and when i asked for a injection i thought here we go. but no they just asked what i wanted and give it to me. the only thing was she was gonna give me a thick needle and i said i wanted a butterfly .it a very fine needle that does not hurt as much .
And put some cranberry tablets in her food to. she seems good now. she was out at the toilet and all seems ok. thanks everyone for asking
Guess a lot of you are in bed and sleeping like a bog eel lol ( thats a old irish saying for sleeping so content nice and peaceful)

Well, the snow that came so quickly has left us just as fast.
From a white morning to a fully green afternoon yesterday.
Not a flake left.
But no matter.
Once the Christmas Season is over, I'm already ready for warm weather, which we are supposed to get plenty of as the week progresses!

Happy pancake tuesday! Yesterday was family day and I actualy didnt have to work! We sent William to his Grandparents house. Then, get this, my Wife and I replaced a toilet. Yes. Then we bathed the cat. What a family day! lol. But it was a good weekend. How is everyone doing?

I came to the conclusion this morning that I will never be a morning person. I couldn't even drag myself out of bed before eight thirty. I can only imagine how much of a hard time I'll have when I get a job!

Everyone's plans for Fat Tuesday sound like a lot of fun! I won't be doing anything special because I have too many other things going on. I have to go to class this morning and then when I get home I have an hour or so to relax and then I have to go to the ENT specialist.

For dinner I am going to have chicken and dip it in hot sauce. I've had a serious obsession with hot sauce lately - I want to put it on everything!

I hope you all enjoy your day and eat some yummy food, even if you don't do anything special!

I didn't get all of my errands run yesterday because I spent to much time at my friends house. So I need to finish those today and then I'll probably come home and take a nap. I didn't sleep good at all last night and I'm dragging this morning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY and Laissez les bons temps rouler!!!!!!!!!

When we were at the wedding last weekend we were talking about dances after everyday jobs around the house. We came up with a few, and years ago a friend of ours was the one who actually danced like Shermy and he called it the Lawnmower.
The list of everyday dances:

The Vacuum Cleaner-dance around pushing an arm out and pull it back

The Sprinkler-turn slowly with your arm out and then jump around fast to where you started from

Unloading the dishwasher-a lot like disco you reach down and then reach up as you are putting a dish away.

Wiping down the countertops- a lot like wax on wax off from Karate Kid, just horizontal instead of vertical.

When Wayne and I went on our cruise in October our cruise director did a dance on stage kind of like what you are describing. He combined all these moves together and the audience was dying from laughter. It was just the way he was so animated that made it so funny.

I slept so sound last night. I slept so well that I didn't wake up until my granddaughter arrived. I usually wake up at least 30 minute to hour before she arrives but this morning my son-in-law called me while I was sleeping and I was so out of it I could not figure out why he was calling. He said, "I am outside". I kept thinking, why is he out there, OH I am babysitting! Wake up!!! =)

Insurance did cover the damage from the accident, but that was about 5 years ago. The people that did the repair work was recommended by a former co-worker of mine and they did a terrible job. They put 2 of the rack and pinions in and after they messed up my shifter (which they fixed for free) and a few other things, I said that I would rather pay for another rack and pinion myself instead of going back there again. I have since paid for a third one and when that started leaking, they replaced it for free because it was still under warranty, now this one is leaking. So I am tired of dealing with it, and don't want to pay to put a new one in again.

Well it looks like I am going to have to do something I have been dreading. Gonna have to start shopping for a new car. I know that is usually supposed to be a happy thing, but I was trying to make my car last a bit longer than this. It is a 2003 Grand Prix, overall it isn't in bad shape, it runs fine, but a few years ago I was in an accident and when the other car hit me my wheel was turned and it messed up the rack and pinion because the car actually hit my front wheel while it was turned. Since then I have the rack and pinion replaced 4 times, and after some time they all start leaking power steering fluid. This is apparently going to be an ongoing problem, and it can't be fixed permanently, and replacing a rack and pinion isn't cheap. There are a few other problems that crop up from time to time, so it is getting to the point of the car just not worth the time and money anymore, plus I need something with better gas mileage.

I hope you find something to your liking, I hate shopping for cars, it is a little stressful sometimes.

I did! I did! DH got the movie for me for Christmas & I just hadn't been in the mood to sit down & watch it without distractions. Yesterday I was off work & both DH & DD had doctor appointments. Before DD's appointment I was able to watch the movie. She asked me why the movie was all gray. I had to explain about life before color tv...
