Talking of smartphones, I got mine in a free upgrade when my contract was due for renewal. I arranged to have the internet disabled because that was over and above what I was paying for initially. The good news is that provided there is WiFi, I can get access without paying so I'm fine at home and at work. If I decide I want it more, it can be switched back on but I'm not that desperate!!!

Christmasstar and Undrtkr: the latest forecast I saw mentions that it will be a heavy snowfall with a good possibility of downed trees and wires - stay safe!!!

hoping it does not get that bad, but I have a camp stove, warm blankets, a friend with a generator and also can eat lots of that soup that is now cooling in the fridge!

First day back, a lot of pain in my foot, I may only due another half day tomorrow, personnel mgr said it shouldn't a problem if I have to do that. I do feel tired tonight, my wife and I have a dinner date tomorrow, the kids are going to be watched my our friends.

Good midday all! I am about to pig out on a Hoagie sandwich with turkey and swiss cheese...every month we have a "luncheon" where we as dept pick which restaurant we want and we picked firehouse subs and they sent 25 subs over and chips. Next month we are picking Zaxby's I think...now that place can give me a coranary....stay tuned...

Is your workplace hiring? I'd sure like to work there!

When my brother got home from work tonight, he wrote me a check and told me he was buying my iPhone for me. I am still in shock - what a gift! My birthday isn't for a couple of months so I have no clue what the present is for!

I had such a great day today. I am looking forward to the weekend to spend some time with family! It is getting late so I am off to bed - I hope you all sleep well and have sweet dreams!

She actually just had a good doctors appointment. No signs of active arthritis but he says her hip, knees, and calves are really weak. So she has to step up her physical therapy.

This has to be a record: My a/c switching on at 500 am!!! it is that warm outside. the weather channel website says 72F for my town right now. so I hear strrong thunderstorms are in the forecast for us today....great! as long as no damage is done! I am about to leave to go to the gym then work as usual but TFIG everyone!! have a good day!

Ah! What a fine spring day in the dead of winter we had yesterday, when the thermometer climbed well into the 70's
Should have a near repeat today, but it could come with some stormy weather late this afternoon.
Hopefully, it will not be severe!
Currently, we stand at 63 degrees under cloudy skies.
