Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cold day here in central Indy and we are supposed to get some snow flurries off and on. Both of my niece's stayed the night last night so I have to take them home here in a bit and then I'm going to kick back and enjoy some racing. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
 
Hey MMC, Not been on for a while, been really short staffed at work so been doing really long hours to help cover! Try and get on here as often as I can just to catch up but by the time im home from work and spent time with the girls before they go to bed I cant seem to find a spare minute!! Hope your all well, So sorry to hear about your dad dawg xxx

Once again, I find the year speeding along. St. Patrick's Day is just around the merry corner. My prediction in January of having all the snow gone by March Break isn't going to happen, it's been snowing like crazy the last two days. It's not as bad as the hail storms and such, but the wind gusts knocked the eaves down on the building across the street, but I'm thinking it had more to do with the amount of snow on the roof tops that started to slide with the milder temps and then it all came tumbling down due to the force of the wind.

It's horrible hearing about all the losses of life during the storms down South.

My friend Bekki is scheduled for her 4-5 hour surgery tomorrow morning. She and her husband have been positive through it all and on Thursday, she cut 14 strands of hair off her head to donate to a place in Toronto that makes wigs for children with cancer because she knew they were going to shave part of her head for the surgery and decided she wanted to do something more meaningful. She's bald now, but looks great! Thoughts and prayers for them would be appreciated. I offered to take the day off work and wait it out with her husband, but he said he'd be okay on his own.

Good morning, Christmas friends. I will be very busy today getting ready for surgery on Wednesday morning. For some sneaking reason, I have a feeling I will come out of surgery with no b00*s!!! Oh, wait! That's the whole point!!! Anyway, I have lots of things to do, so I am going to put on MCR and listen to Christmas music while I work. Have a great day, everyone.

Work is done, day off tomorrow, I have my good days and bad days with the foot, and today was a good day, very little pain today. JP, who is only 6 years old, finished reading his first chapter book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, I am so proud of him, his reading level is so beyond first grade, and his thirst for knowledge is just like mine. He just feeds his mind with things he is interested in, after the tornado last June, instead of fearing them he got really into them, he knows so much about tornadoes, he can tell you about updrafts, downdrafts, scud, anything about them it is amazing. We congratulated him finishing the book by getting him the next in the series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. I am so proud of him! He also went with the Cub Scouts today and built a birdhouse for the returning bluebirds. We also signed him up for swimming and baseball for the spring, he is going to be one busy boy.

I am glad yesterday was a good day for your foot. It sounds like it is just going to be touch and go for a while.

That is awesome for JP. Good for him and congrats to him! What smart little boy! You guys must be wonderful parents! :-D

Just have the Cub Scout bowl-a-thon today, and that is our only plan. I won't be bowling, I will rest my foot, but the boys will be.
