Thank goodness, too! I wish they would turn on daylight savings time and leave it on. Now I'll be able to get some things done in the afternoons!
I thought about Daylight Savings this morning... Then, I immediately thought of your disdain for Standard Time. I figured you would be happy! You've made it through another round, Brad!
Take care, my good friend! Prayers still coming your way!! cheesySigning off for now. We leave for Redding in about 30 minutes. I still have to put a load of laundry in the dryer. A woman's work is never done!!!
MerryCarey, Carl has a surgical mask under that pretty cover. I had thought you crocheted it for him?
No, I didn't, but I think I could figure out the pattern pretty easily ... I could make him one in Christmas colors to keep him warm in frigid weather. cheesy
full dress rehearsal for "The Runnaway" today at noon. We have 250 kids from the school next door coming over to watch.
This is a musical production put on by our Kids Company. (after school program that runs on Wednesdays)
The performance is on Wednesday at 5:30, so grab the jet and come over to watch before we all head over to the hospital for our Pines party to support Seawaters!
Going to fun!!!QUOTE]

i love this, what you said about your daughter...priceless!Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
I had a slightly hectic day yesterday afternoon. I had quite a bit of work to catch up on with my rental business, and my son was at track practice and couldn't help me. I got home just in time to change clothes and head out to my city council meeting. I finally got a Dairy Queen hamburger at 9pm...LOL! I hope today is a little slower.
Tuesdays, my daughter comes to my office after school while Nancy takes our son to his guitar lessons. I love my daughter coming here, because she plays "teacher" and writes on my dry-erase board. She has most of my office supplies on "her side" of my office, arranged just so. I wish she would never grow up!!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
What a morning.
On our deck, we have two cushioned seats that are connected with a little table in between them. My dad covers them with plastic during the winter so they don't get snow on them or damaged. Yesterday I noticed that a cat crawled under a gap in the plastic and was sleeping on one of the cushions. At the time I just assumed the little guy was probably cold because it was snowy and windy. This morning, I went and looked and the cat was sleeping there again. Just as I was going to go check on him, he hopped down. It broke my heart but I saw that his one leg was just hanging there, definitely broken. Her hobbled across the deck and down the steps and went and sat in my driveway to get some sun.
I called my county's humane society and they told me that they don't cover my area (which makes NO sense considering the building is 10 minutes from my house) and that I'd need to call the police. So, I am going to wait until he comes back for a nap and then call. I can't call now when he's not around.
This is the same cat that used to come in December that I would give water to and feed. My dad thinks that someone had a rat trap in their yard and that the cat got it's leg caught in it. I feel so bad because I can't take it in or do anything, especially because of my asthma.
I just don't understand why people own animals if they are incapable of taking care of them. We don't just have stray cats wandering around, so I know he is somebody's that lives in my neighborhood. It really bothered me and now my whole morning is ruined.
oh poor thing. sometimes if you call the vet they will put you in touch w/ places that will treat/take the animal w/out putting them down. give it a shot! shame on who ever has allowed the little kitty to go w/out care!!! shame, shame, shame!!!
Merrymistletoe might be able to fit you in for a haircut!!! Someone can borrow the Lear jet and take you there.
got my clippers in hand, i'll have those ears lowered quick, fast, & in a hurry!!
man i hate when things like this happen. are you saying the bends in the line are manufactured or happened w/ the line when the breaks went out?Well I took one look at where my mom's brake line was broken and decided no way. The line had about 20 bends in it and there was no way that I was even going to attempt to do it. So it's at the shop getting fixed and they are going to patch her exhaust too while they have it up in the air. My mom isn't happy about the $200 price tag but at least the brakes will work.
glad to hear your limpless xmas!!!!Good afternoon,
All my errands are done, for now, just waiting until my wife gets home to finish the errands.
Just enjoying some pizza, and watching TV.
Be back later!

high blood pressure will cause your head to spin, be careful what meds you take for your sinus as some will make it get higher. just saying.
Here is Carl in a fancy surgical mask. You know Carl? Always wanting to show up in style!

good evening ya'll!
another day @ work down now. boy am i glad! i've gotta wedding in May, it's a pretty big one. well i gave the bride a price on the flowers a couple months ago, after i gave her the price a couple days went by & while i was off she brought some pics of flowers that she likes, well.....the flowers i originally quoted her were much less expensive than the ones she chose after the quote. here's my dilemma, she lives in Australia right now & won't be back here until 4 weeks before the wedding. i called her mom & she gave me the bride's email. i had to re-figure the whole wedding, it increased by $1000. i hate when this happens, i don't want her to think i'm raising the cost just to make more $. i've sent her the new price & an explanation for the increase. i hope she understands. things like this make me wish i was still in cosmetology, atleast then everyone knew ahead of time of the cost & people generally don't question increases for more services. in this line of work most people think the most expensive flower is a rose but it's soooo not. there are flowers that cost 4x what roses do, some even higher, but very rare.
I wood not feel so bad. you quoted her for what she had in mind at the time. and if she choose different flowers she has to realise the price may be different to. it only makes sense..
