it is like that here in SW Ontario too. Got my windows open and just enjoying the day!
It is 15c right now

Close to 60*F here and bright sunshine---I couldn't resist going out and walking around the block after I ate lunch. Even though the winter here has been mild, the weather today has me craving spring and green grass and flowers!

MerryCarey, vintage Christmas music as in Bing, Dean, Frank, Perry and others like them? Why I ask is because when you mention vintage movies you are watching some that most have not heard of. I thought there might be vintage music that are out there that most have not heard of as well. I love all Christmas music but especially the ones I mentioned above! =)

Made, what do you think of the final selection on American Idol? I am happy for most of who they selected but I thought Reed Grim was interesting and would have like to see what more he would have contributed to the show. Stay safe from the storms!

I thought Reed Grimm was great, too! Very unique & talented guy. He's from Wisconsin, and went to college in my hometown. His former band used to play there, too- 3 Beers 'Til Dubuque. Best of luck to him in the future! Bet he's already got offers coming.

Good evening mmc friends how is all of you
Been a few light showers here today and cold
Was a hard day. 2 pallets and they were large and heavy
And i have sinus i think. my head is spinnning my ears are popping and my face is sore and to beat that my blood presure is up not that dangerious up but up a good bit for me. think its cause my head is spinning that its put a stress level on your body..got some tablets now they are turning my stomach hell i cant win...
Other than that i have had a good day

oh i know you're right, but i assure you, i'm not starving myself. i skipped the nuts today for snack & i haven't had as bad a headache. i don't know maybe that's not it, we are having spring weather, maybe it's seasonal stuff. i can usually tell the difference between migraines & sinus but sometimes my symptoms are very similar & i have to treat the sinus & when that doesn't work i move on to the migraine meds.
i was really hoping for news from seawaters by now, bummer. prayers going up now!!

Its 8.30 p,m here so am thinking it must be about 1.30

shellie i just figured it out. if it's 8:30am where seawaters is it's 1:30pm here & cah said it would take about 5 hours so that means it will be about 6:30pm here. that's why we haven't heard yet. i think you're 6 hours ahead of me so maybe by 12:30am or 1am your time will you find out anything.

Seawaters Update!

I was expecting her daughter to call but guess what? Cherylle called me herself and sounded very well considering what she just went through. The surgery was expected to last 5 1/2 hours but only took around 4! She said she is in a little pain and tired but doing good. Her request to the doctor is that she wanted an IV with coffee and Chardonnay. :lol:

She wanted to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers and said they worked! I did tell her that we are all talking about her on here and couldn't wait to hear from her.

She said she might try to pop in on here tonight.
