Tomorrow I go pick Palmer up from the vets. I really miss her - it is empty without her bed (I put it in her crate so that she would have something comforting and familiar with her) and it is quiet without her jingle ball playing. It will be so good to have her back home!

I am very tired so am going to log off the computer. Have a MERRY evening!

Good news that palmer is getting home. BUT did i miss a post?? what was wrong with palmer and is all good now

It gives the weather today cold but dry i hope so yesterday we have 3 or 4 big hailstone showers

Good news for SeaWaters and my friend Bekki. Her husband snuck away from the hospital today so he could check in on their pets and stopped by to give me a face-to-face update. That was so sweet of him. He wanted me to know that they're just waiting on a bed in our local hospital and she'll come back hopefully for the weekend and soon after is expected to be able to go home. They have quite a flight of stairs though so it might take at least another week. She was up walking around the ICU ward late yesterday and this morning. Her brain surgery was a delicate procedure and the surgeon mentioned that he was concerned initially about temporary paralysis, but she's fine in that regard and today all of her other gadgets were removed and the bandages came off her head. It's only been two days since the surgery. Thanks for keeping Bekki and Steve in your thoughts and prayers - the force worked!!!

good news auntiem. your friend bekkie is very brave. it's amazing how fast she's coming along. i will continue to pray for her!

Our musical turned out great, the kids did a fantastic job!

We did have a scare before it started. 15 min before the start our choir directors husband appeared to have a stroke (he is 74) He was coherent but slurred his words. An ambulance came to take him to the hospital. He told her to finish with the kids since they would be doing a bunch of tests and making her wait in the waiting room anyway.
We prayed with her, then talked to the kids about what had happened. She did really well and went off to the hospital after it was done. Waiting to get an email about how he is doing.

star i'm sorry to hear about the music director, i will be praying for him.

I am like you all and stunned that Cherylle called me herself! I never spoke with her on the phone before and when she said, "Sheila, this is Cherylle", I paused and said, "Cherylle? or Cherylle's daughter"? Her throat was just a little scratchy but she sounded so alert! She said her throat felt a little sore. That sense of humor is the same on the phone as it is on here. It was great to hear her joke around after going through that!

I am just so relieved she got that over with! She expressed her gratitude for all of you several times.

cah i can't thank you enough for the updates on seawaters. continuing to pray for her recovery.

i too have chronic sinus infections & headaches, i hope the acupuncture works well for you solice.

i'm off to work in a little bit. i woke up feeling really good this morning....seawaters is doing ok, i didn't have a headache, & it's suppose to be real nice weather, like 75 degrees & sunny!
i cannot believe seawaters was able to post last night, w/ carl's help of course. wow!
my sons are on spring break this week. well my 19 yr. old has been in his room gaming the whole time pretty much. he comes out to eat, drink,etc. but.... his beard has even grown in where he's not shaving. he plays the playstation3 & got a new game monday night that just came out. i'm sorry but i don't like anything enough to spend that much time on it!! oh well, hey, he could be doing alot worse things than that i guess!

I was only outside for a short time today, too. Tomorrow looks to be warm as well. The only downside is that it should be full of rain. Lots of it. At least it will wash away all/most of the snow!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's a rainy dreary morning here in central Indy. It kind of matches the mood of the city after yesterday. It's still hard to believe that the colts are going to let Peyton walk away but that's life. I don't have much planned for today. I'll probably just stay inside and clean all day. I might do some baking while I'm at it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
