Back from my friends birthday party. This was the cake I made her...

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!

Good evening,

I am finally typing from our new computer, I don't have to worry about it crashing while being on it.

I got home from work and JP showed me his trophy, He won first place!!! We carved the car by hand, I had no idea what I was doing, being the first time I have ever done it. JP went undefeated in all of his heats, I can't believe he won, I am so proud of him!!!
Another lousy day at work, I had to apologize to some of my coworkers for not acting professional, (my choice), they said it was okay, and they understood why I was so upset, I just missed one co-worker, I know I don't have to but I feel I must apologize to her to, since she is one of best friends at work.

Day off tomorrow, hopefully a better week lays ahead.

hey ya'll! believe it or not, i'm by myself here. kids are gone out & hubby went w/ my uncle to a sportsmen classic in another town. nice & quiet here now.
i had heard the other day there was a shooting in our town. turns out, @ work i learned more about it & it's got me feeling down for several reasons.
the man who was shot & killed, went to his sister' home wanting $, the sister & her husband of course refused. the man shouted profanity @ them & said he would be back & left. he threatened his sister before leaving. when he came back, things happened & the sister's husband had no choice but to shoot him.this man has been on drugs for years, his wife is too. they have 2 children. now the sister & her husband (who i do not know) are nice people & have a nice home. the family is heartbroken, of course. my daughter is friends w/ the daughter of the man that was killed. she used to go to school w/ the girl but since changing schools they have lost touch but still talk on facebook. the man also has a son that's younger. i've asked several family members about the kids & if they stay w/ the mother (the couple was seperated) because as i said she's on drugs also. unfortunately the kids are w/ her but other family members make sure they have what they need. i just don't understand why no one has taken these kids to care for. i know she's the mom but come'on, drugs do NOT make a good mom. i'm worried what these kids have seen, been through, experienced. it's so sad! the friend of my daughter called me @ work today & i spoke w/ her a few minutes, she was @ a friend's house.
as you can see, there's several reasons i am feeling down. please keep this family in your prayers. the brother in law that shot the man & his sister are in turmoil as you could imagine. please pray for them!

That is terrable for them, drugs has to be the worst thing ever. thank god we dont see a lot of it in this town but i see enough to do. What a mess.
I cant understand why the kids are with the mother if she is still into drugs as over here they wood have been taken into care. its the kids that suffer I beleive that you carry your childhood thoughout your life and its makes you the person you are.
When you say you dont understand why these kids have not taken to care for. dont no if you mean by another family member or a wellfare
Cant answer that but it wood have been sorted over here. oven if the kids life in a life of drink or say if the father or mother is not looling after them right the wellfare wood be on there case big time.

YES THIS IS TERRIBLE, I GUESS WHAT I MEANT IS I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY ANYONE, FAMILY, FRIEND, OR WELFARE HAS NOT TAKEN THESE KIDS, YA' KNOW?

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's been a long night. My sister in Seattle called about 10:30 last night and said that my niece was really dizzy. She has had spells before and the doctors always said that it was because of the pain from the arthritis but then she started complaining about her chest hurting really bad. So my sister called the doctor and he said to take her in to the ER at the children's hospital. On the way to the ER my niece started complaining that she couldn't remember things. The ER did a EKG and a CT scan and they both came back ok. She was still having a hard time remembering things though and her blood pressure kept dropping every time she would stand up. So they called a neurologist in. The neurologist is thinking it's a migraine but admitted her and wants to do an MRI later this morning. So I've been up most of the night waiting on phone calls and worrying. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY or at least better than my day!!!!!!!!

I'M SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS MADE. I WILL BE IN PRAYER FOR HER. PLEASE KEEP US POSTED.

The car is a green that Ford used back then, and a black vinyl top. It still runs a little rough, but it went well.


Actually, I've gotten pretty good at a standard wave showing the palm of my hand, but I finish with a quick index finger point to anyone who makes eye contact with me. And I'll throw in a wink if they are smiling, too!

GOod morning everyone!! we had a great time at the surprise party last night...just drank a few too many beers....brandi had to drive back because me and james were too intoxicated I guess...I never drink anymore so my tolorance is really pathetic...anyways I have great news to share with everyone here....BUT...I want yall to guess what it is because I think it would be funny if anyone could guess what it is...cause I don't think yall will...brad is excluded becuase he already knows...Anyone??? okay cah you sure did not try very hard and gave up easy!!! That is okay i realize it is a very hard thing to do and it could be really anything...sooooo..the good news i have is that friday me and brandi found out we are expecting again...yes i know it is soon....jordan is just 2 and a half months old...and so this is very very soon...but we are happy although it was not expected all we could do is laugh laugh laugh...but we are very very happy...it will be do mid november alhough we don't know for sure because she has not even been to the dr yet...she is very very early like 3 weeks..but anyways that is my good news and i am over the moon happy!!

@merrymistltoe- I bet those are sinus headaches...I have the same thing and what works for me is the loritadine 10 mg's is is generic um dang I forget the brand name but just go to your pharmacy and ask for loritadine and it's like 3 bucks for 30 and it works for my sinus headaches maybe it will for you too.!

Well my niece just got moved into her own room and they are waiting on the day shift neurologist to get there before they do her MRI. She got some sleep in the ER and now her memory is better but she is still really dizzy. The neurologist that was on call last night is about 90% sure that it is some weird kind of migraine. I've never heard of a migraine that doesn't give you a headache but I guess that's what makes it weird.

Merrymistletoe - That is so sad about those poor babies. I feel so sad for them. It has been my experience that for some reason, a lot of courts think the mom is the better suited parent without even checking into facts, even if the mom is involved in drugs, it seems courts love to award custody to the woman. I hope and pray they will be okay.

Made - I am keeping your little niece in my prayers. Poor little thing. Please do keep us

yesterday when we went to tallahassee we went to the yankee candle store at the mall there..I got 2 new candles...pink sands and sun and sand!!! I am sad to announce that they have gone up to 27.99 for the big candles...just a few years ago I remember when they were 19.99...but like everything else prices are going up;...dang inflation!!! I said I would only buy yankee candles from now on unless they are having that wonderful buy to get 2 free like they have in October!!!

Happy Sunday dear Christmas family

My sister called last evening and said that Wes was doing better yesterday afternoon. At first when she had seen him he was just out of surgery and was very shaky and pale but when she saw him later at lunch time he was better. He had eaten lunch and the color was back in his face and seemed a lot better. I have not heard from her today but when I do I will let you know. It can't be good, this whole thing, though, with him just having had AAA surgery just a year ago and now another heart attack. Still, I know there are folks who live through many heart attacks. I am praying that there was no or minimal damage to his heart. That seems to be a determining factor in prognosis.

I downloaded yet another Christmas app for my Ipod !! I am trying to be optimistic which is something for me. I am naturally a person who looks at a glass and sees it half empty. I wound up getting rid of my Tap A Talk app as I didn't really like it. I purchased additional storage for my Ipod but I am so technically challenged I am wondering, once I have used all the storage that originally came with my Ipod is that when the additional storage I purchase kicks in ??

Hermione is growing and growing. She is such a dear sweety. She does seem to have some issues but she is going to be enrolled in a puppy class hopefully April 1. She tends to be so, so headstrong as she is half Bloodhound and does not like it one bit when you tell her to do something she doesn't want to. She has even growled and not in a playful way. But I will not give up on her. I love her and I know we can overcome this. She is still not house trained but we work on that every single day. I read some article that stated Bloodhounds are slow at learning house training and to expect the age of between 4 and 6 months. She is not quite 4 months yet so we have a ways to go. The aggression is the one that concerns me more. I have never had to give up one of my babies because of a temperament problem and I am praying that this is just a phase and that I can get it under control. It would absolutely break my heart to have to send her to a new home. It would be like giving up a piece of myself xoxo

i'm happy to hear your b-i-l is doing better. Beieve it or not my uncle (on my daddy's side) has had several heart attacks, & has had so many surgeries (bypasses) that he no longer has any arteries left to replace, not even in his arms. He's 78, & going strong! The issue w/ his heart started 28 years ago. My daddy has had a heart attack & had triple bypass & then 1 or 2 stints put in. He's 80 & i have a hard time keeping up w/ him.
Don't even think those negatives w/ hermoine! My b-i-l, hubby's brother, had a full blooded bloodhound & yes it is hard to train them but it can be done. The obedience classes will help her alot. Now you remember cm3.....the glass is always half full, never half empty!!!!!! Love & hugs to you & hermoine!!

hi sounds like that. did you try steam ?? i was reading that the tablets you get to help they have very little decongestants in the tablets you get. or you may have a infection in the sinus area
