Christmas Countdown - 2012

I am up to Friday's posts! I know, I know. I am still wayyy behind, but I am slowly getting caught up!

I have to go get dinner finished. I have a beef roast in the crock pot and am making beef noodles and mashed potatoes. I will check in before heading to bed for my nap later on.

I feel so bad I just read this now! How is he doing? Praying that everything is okay!

So glad to hear the musical was a hit though!

he is going to be fine, he did have a little stroke and they kept him in 24 hours just in case, but he is home now.

Well they have released my niece from the hospital. They're still not sure what caused the memory loss or why she is still dizzy but it's not life threating. So they just told her to follow up with her regular doctor about the dizziness and bring her back if it happens again.

nice she is home again, hope she recovers fully!

Can I just say after tonight..I have decided that I love the new time change and after I get use to that awful hour we lost I will completly love it. I just forgot how much I mlike it still being daylight at 7 and 8pm...makes me think of baseball season and if I will play this year....I am 37 now and will be one the older ones there...thanks to good genes most people think I am still 27...but the gray hairs are making it more and more difficult to confuse people on my age.lol anyways..I am stuffed as usual I had to much to eat for dinner...I am just catching up here for the evening then I will be off to bed because I have to get up at 5am....goodnight folks!!!

What does that feel like, the acupuncture? Can you feel the needles going in, one by one? I've always wondered? Is it relaxing? Hope it's helping you!

I had that a few times, no pain, just really weird to see all those needles sticking our of yourself!

Well Brandi just go home with dinner of course now I have eaten my snack..oh well I will just eat again!!! The new baby is due on November the 16th! so right as our leaves are at thier prettiest she and or/he will be coming...therefore Jordan will no longer be the baby of the family. ANd I will be constantly changing dirty poo diapers and pukin!!!! wish us luck everyone!!!I think I will call it a night as well. Finally a good day at work, it was nice to be smiling while working again. I have volunteered to drive my wife to her seminar tomorrow, she doesn't like driving long distances by herself, so I will be trying to entertain myself in a strange area for 7 or so hours while waiting for her. I did read there is a Christmas store in the area, so I may have to search it out. It will be a long day. Tomorrow is also the 21st anniversary of my mother's death, I will be very close to the hospital where she passed, so I feel a little strange about that.

Well the MRI showed 4 white spots on my niece's brain but the doctor isn't worried about them "right now" because they are not on the part of the brain that would cause the symptoms she is having. They are now leaning toward some type of seizure. She is still a bit dizzy so they are going to keep her again tonight and send her to a balance therapist tomorrow.

Oh Made... This just makes me so sad. I am praying more than ever for your niece. She has been through so much xo

Being a triplet, I wouldn't wish that on any one!!!!

Im watching some things that I have taped since Christmas.

I just watched a wonderful movie called November Christmas

I loved that movie too, Irish Snow. Very surprising ending, so touching.

Good evening, Christmas family

I am just winding down. I have Friends on TV and I have been going through the posts on the Countdown. Everyone is asleep including Hermione who is in her "house" for a time out. She is in that phase right now where she thinks she knows it all !! It was SO FUNNY, I wish you all could have seen her this evening. When I was having dinner she somehow got a strand of spaghetti off my plate and she was having a ball with it!! She did not know what to do with it. she laid by it, threw it in the air and laid down on it !! At one point that poor strand of spaghetti was even on her head. It was just so cute, I couldn't bear to take it from her. She finally devoured it I think. I don't know for sure but I think she is FINALLY getting the grasp of house training !! She has to get the next set of puppy shots this Friday and I am trying to take a day of vacation so that my husband does not have to take her alone. She has never been in the car with him alone and I am concerned she may not behave and possibly cause an accident. I would just feel better if I can go too.

Wes is home. I got an e-mail from my sister and she said he is tired but doing well. I am cautiously hopeful about the future.

They do make you laugh dont they. great to hear you might be starting to get the house training on your side. you will get there. i have a real problem with sasha when i got her. she was reared in a shed( she was a resuce dog) i went though 2 months of bleach/mops/disfinectant and bad nerves but i got there and so will you. think its takes a lot of patience.
Great to hear wes is home. iys ony natural he will be tired for a while but give him a few weeks and he will not no himself

Good morning everyone!!! I woke up sneezin from all this pollen in the area !!!!! other than that I feel good and ready to take on another week day!! I am so ready for another weekend though!! I go to the gym mon-fri and the workouts have been relentless for so early in the morning!!! but I have been pushing myself and really feeling better than I have felt in years!!! I did not get much sleep last night as jordan was restless as heck!! I could hear that crib squeeking and those diapers cracklin all night it seems!!! I guess he is getting out of the newborn stage now!!!this is all so exciting seeing him grow up!! well I am about to get in the shower after I look at the 10 forecast....sorry folks no forecast update from me today other than to tell you the last time I looked we were going to have highs in the 80's lows in the upper 50's to low 60's and 10 to 20 % rain chances the next 10 days!!! have a great day everyone!!!
