Good Morning, Weary Weekend Appreciators.
And Top-"O-the-Irish greetings to one and all!
Yes, it is once again St. Patricks Day with another work week behind us.
And this ahead of us:
Days to the Season: 241
Days to Christmas Day: 283
Milestone # 5 is now SINGLE DIGITS away - the ONE QUARTER mark to Christmas Day is just around the bend!

Still the warmth is with us and we once again broke into the 80's yesterday.
Got some rain last night with a bit more possible for today.
Then several consecutive days with lows in the 50's and highs in the 70's
Nice!

Have a Sensational Saturday, my friends.
Be kind to an Irishman!

Heck, I may watch all of the Darlene Love performances in the morning, too....

Now that sounds like a great way to start spring break!!!!!!!!!

Junior's racing the nationwide race today in case you didn't know.

Top of the Mornin to you!!!!!! It's going to be another warm one here with a slight chance of rain later this afternoon. I don't have much to do today. I'll probably just lay around and rest most of the day. I'm going to put my corned beef brisket on here soon and let it cook all day so it's nice and tender tonight for supper. Maybe I'll even listen to my Celtic Thunder Christmas CD on. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May you have:
A world of wishes at your command.
God and his angels close to hand.
Friends and family their love impart,
and Irish blessings in your heart!

Here I am rushing through the post again. We have a busy day today so I don't have time to catch up, again. =(

Happy St. Paddys Day to all!

Greasy Skillet this evening! Click on the link below for information. =)

For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends

tshirt, shorts, and flip flops.

This is how the day is supposed to be started!

We have finally made it. Spring Break is 8 hours away. I know, I know, some of you are thinking you always get off when you work at school, but I'm on a 12 month contract and usually get a week off for Christmas (I take vacation time) and I usually take 3 days during spring break (vacation time) and I usually work on those days, too.

Anyways, enough of that. BBQ at my brother-in-laws tomorrow. Gonna be big fun. Speaking of BBQ, I've always watch Netflix at night while falling asleep and have started watching PitMasters. Can you believe there is a series where they go to BBQ competitions? Crazy. It's actually pretty good, though.

So, I'm off to work! Have a great Friday.

sounds like you're gonna enjoy yourself to the fullest! have a blast this week!!

Hi everyone. Our weather forecast for the next 7 days is awful. Highs forecast in the upper 60's, lows in lower 50's with some thunderstorms. This weather is what we normally see in mid May. We should have highs in mid 50's and lows in mid 30's.

We are driving down to see my parents this weekend. My mom seems to be getting weaker. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

enjoy your visit mgramsey, i'm sorry to hear your mother isn't doing good. i pray for peace for your mother & all you & your family.
I know you will make it special for your niece. What are the colors?

she's actually picked one of the easiest colors. her dress is black. the school colors are orange & royal blue so i'm glad she didn't have to go w/ either of those, lol.she wants to go w/ hot pink or red flowers. i think that's a nice contrast to the black. she's going stag w/ some friends.
Good afternoon everyone!

Only a few hours left until the weekend begins. I'm excited for this weekend. St Patrick's Day should be interesting on a Saturday. More so, however, I am also looking forward to our 4 on 4 indoor tournament. Should be a great time! Afterward, my friends have invited everyone over for a BBQ. Normally, this would be unheard of in March, however with 16C (61F) on Saturday and then 22C (72F) on Sunday, outdoor celebrations must occur. We'd be lucky to have this weather in May. The jet stream is very messed up at the moment. I'll take it for now.

After today I will have 10 more days of employment at my job. I've been searching for jobs ever since I got this one. I'm actually starting to receive some call backs now, but we'll see what they amount to...

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Friday. We're almost nine days away from our next Milestone. Thanks for that, Crown! The Christmas Day Milestones are quite the accomplishment! They just keep coming!

Have a great day, everyone!
so glad to hear you've gotten some feedback on your job search. hey, it's gotta start some where. i just know your gonna find something you'll really like!
Hi everyone!!

I am about to run to the mall with my mom to shop and grab lunch. We went out for lunch yesterday but it was really icky. I had a steak salad and they put roast beef lunch meat on there - uh, pretty sure that doesn't count as strip steak lol. Anyways - hopefully I have better luck today with lunch but I cannot eat any meat because of Lent.

I am so excited for the weekend. We're grilling hamburgers & hot dogs tomorrow, and then steaks on Sunday. Plus I'm fitting some cornhole into my schedule :)

Have a fab Friday!!

after the spring has sprung & the pollen is gone,we will be playing cornhole alot here!! have fun!
Quick update on my Niece. The therapist has been working with her the last couple of days and can't get the dizziness to go away again. So she had a follow up appointment with her regular doctor today and he didn't have a clue. So he called the Neurologist that she saw at the children's hospital and they want my sister to bring her back down to the ER. So thats where they are headed now.
made, i'm gonna keep praying for your niece. may God bless her & help the docs find exactly what this is!
Hi guys!! Haven't popped on in quite some time but I'm always thinking about ya!! :) How is everyone!?
hey judesmama!! nice to see you.
Just finished watching the Santa Claus.....been doing the house while doing that for the evening, when some guests will come over for coffee and cake..............I just started crying a little.....my daughter Kandice, who turned six years last week, came to me to say Happy Birthday and asked me, if I also wish great-grandpa (my grandpa) to be here with us again......she is such a smart and sensitive little girl....she seems to fully understand what it means that he has died....she knows he will never come back...but she knows that he keeps watching us and that we will meet again.....hopefully a long time from now...until then we just keep him in our hearts and remember him fondly.....Gramps I love ya

as they say here....."out of the mouths of babes". children say the most amazing things @ times. i'll be thinking of you.

my hubby just left for the airport. feeling funny now. me & daughter are here, not sure what we may do today. i hope ya'll have a great day though!! love & hugs!:hi:

Just checking in to add my

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Nothing special planned this weekend. Mr. has to work later today, so I'll be amusing myself this afternoon---probably putting a few more snowflakes on that everlasting afghan. Maybe I'll pull out some of our old LPs and listen to them for a change!

Hi everyone and Happy St. Patrick's Day! Sorry I never made it on here yesterday, but I was exhausted. I worked 12 1/2 hours into yesterday and then they asked me to work today, which is my weekend off, but I agreed to do it. Maybe I'm crazy. Sometimes I think I am! I worked 5 hours today. I'm just getting home. DH is teaching anyway, so it worked out okay.

Him and I are going to a big St. Patrick's Day bash tonight - they sell 500 tickets. It benefits are fire department locally. They do it every year. It will be a lot of fun and I am really looking foward to it. Anyone else have anything planned?

I am just sitting outside now, eating my lunch and enjoying this beautiful. It's 71F and sunny here. I love it!

Hope you're all having a great day. I'm going to get caught up on the countdown now...
