Here it is evening now! 7:42 pm

I have just bathed two boys and put three boys down for the night

The girls are out.
My youngest plays basketball, and my oldest is taking a art class.
She is so creative (like her mother?) and very talented!

Got some rough treatment today with the acupuncture,
and was bleeding from my legs, forehead and ear.
Auch... Back next week!

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a long time but I have Christmas on the brain right now, so I thought I would stop by.

1/4 of the way to Christmas already? Wow, time is really flying by!

I hope you all have a wonderful day. Temps are suppose to be in the 80's this afternoon. Seems like we skipped Spring and jumped right into Summer!

hey caroline!! please come back to talk w/ us as often as you can!!

Hi everyone!!!

I know, I know, it has been a while. Things are gearing up with the business. We have hit the ground running and WOW!!! Business is a booming!!! I cannot believe the response, so needless to say, with that much to do working two full time gigs is a lot. Looks like I am going to leave the company I am with our small business has gotten so big we are now looking at a larger garage to house the trucks and looking at buying a new/used one.

I tell you all though, Christmas is not far from my brain, I also think about all of you and wonder what you are all doing. Did I miss this months Member of the month?!?! I must check, I have voted non-stop for one particular person I so hope to see that one win!!! Must check and see... I know I saw Shellie's win much deserved and awesome.

I hope things in your personal life are well that everyone is good, happy, and Christmasy!!!

Remember, I think it was Erma Bomback who said... "Stop trying to be happy, just be happy, trying means you may not be able to be, do not let anyone steal your happy!!!"

I love that and this site is one of my Happy Sites!!! Ahhhh, Christmas, I found a cool recipe I am going to test this weekend for Christmas Eve. Oh, and this year we are going to Bethlehem, PA during Christmas Eve it is nicknamed Christmas Town!!! I cannot wait to see it!!!
Again, miss you all... LB

oh lauriebear, have we missed you!! that's super about the company doing so well!! congratulations, really...you go girl!!

Wednesday. Pines Day!

Is it truly Wednesday already? Oh, that's right. I haven't been around for a couple days. Sorry about that. Much of my downtime at work right now is reserved for job hunting. No luck as of late. But, that's how it goes. I will continue my search!

I hope everyone had a wonderful first day of Spring yesterday! Like much of the continent, it felt more like summer than spring! Temperatures in Ottawa reached 25C (nearly 80F). That is easily a record breaking high for this time of year. Surprisingly, on such a beautiful day, the gym was packed. After the gym a friend and I took advantage of the weather and ran some outdoor sprints. It was beautiful... Well, except for the fact that they felt a little rough.

Nothing new on any fronts here. The days keep flying by and I have about seven more days (not including today) of work left. The only good part is that my dad should be visiting during the first non-working week. Although I want to transition into another job immediately, it will be nice to spend a few days with him!

Well, I guess I should get back to work. I'll do my best to check in sometime this afternoon. We have nearly completed a massive backlog in forms (from 3000+ to only 38 remaining), so I think that my downtime will even further increase by this afternoon! It only took about five months.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone! See you at the 'Pines! Nothing better than celebrating a new season that brings us even closer to Christmas 2012!

now don't get discouraged brent, i just know something is coming your way in the line of work! you take care of yourself & don't over do it w/ all those weights!!!he-man!

Ho ho ho! Good morning all!
William had his 3rd birthday yesterday. He had a blast! I also got a surprise in the mail! A mystery greeter sent me a Rudolph Day card! Thank You!

Here is the card, along side my Christmas tree thats up all year round!

Good morning,

I will be leaving for work in a few, JP is home sick from school today, he woke up in the middle of the night and got sick. Second time with this viral thing for him. My wife is coming home to take over watching him for the second shift. I am just looking forward to my day off tomorrow.

I will be back later.

Happy Pines Day!!!

poor JP, viruses are awful! wish him all better for me please. let us know how your doc appt. goes tomorrow.

Good Morning, friends!!

It's Pines Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God!!!

I've really been missing the Christmas season a lot lately.
I found a really cute shirt that I ordered the other day- it's Clark's Rant from Christmas Vacation. Makes me smile

To all the animal lovers out there, I found a company that makes homemade Chicken Jerky- yes, made in the USA!! It's a company out of Maine. It's called TriPom Chews if you want to search it, and I bought some for Harlowe & she loves them! Very happy find, especially since I quit buying the ones that are made in China, per our vet recommendation. Glad I did, they've been in the news quite frequently =( We even wondered if that's what was causing Harlowe her liver problems initially. Anyways, check them out.
They're for dogs & cats

It's funny, a lot of you are having unseasonably warm temps, and Vegas has had unseasonably cool temps?!?
Back to the high 70's & low 80's by the weekend. Truly crazy weather.

Not much else new. Just work & work! Just wanted to say hello

Hope you're all having a lovely day!!!!

xo

the shirt sounds pretty cool! i never find neat stuff like that.
i never knew that about pet treats, oh my goodness, that's awful. thanks for the info!

went outside to cut the grass/mow the lawn (depending on where you're @). the new starter was put on, hubby cut some of it before leaving. i go out there, try to engage the blades, & nothing. turned it off, looked to the right, part of a belt just laying there. uugghh! if it didn't weigh a ton, i'd have thrown it across the yard!!!!!
not sure what i'm gonna do now.....:tree:

N/P not cheeky at all :)
It isn't pretty but hubby is in the Septic (Sewer) Pumping Business. We expanded about the middle of Jan. And when he was small it was nice I did the paperwork a few nights a week, but we bought another business in an area we have wanted to get a foot hold in what we New Yorkers call THE POCONOS. Yup not too far from Pocono raceway and well, we knew it meant more work but WOW, we are already looking into hiring someone we didn't think that would happen until next year, out advisor/accountant was very helpful, but none us expected to amount of calls. We are very happy, no doubt with the out come.
Well girl ok not the most glamorous job in the world
But someone has to do it. and it might as well be you and your hubby
And once again the very best of luck to you and of course to your hubby
Thanks for asking :)

HI your vet was 100% right. my mate got a husky 2 years ago and she wood give it anything to eat and i mean anything. but we learned at vet school about these jerky and also the fat bones that are made in china. i tryed to tell her. over and over again did she listen... no
Ended up last year her dog took a disease which meant it could not keep food down. and it had liver and kidney probelms. big story made short cost her £350 to get it put kinda right and even yet it cant eat a treat and had to start on canned special food which was costing £2 a tin.. i was so cross at her. so beware of them. just cause a dog might like them( and i mean the china ones) does not always mean they are good for them. and yes starcey might have been a helping hand in it. !!

Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I was out all morning. I forgot my son was in the regional spelling bee at a school about 30 miles from here. He won second place in regional 8th grade! He would have won, but he got a little too cocky at the end. SYMPATHIZE was the word. He knew how to spell it, but was going too fast and got the "I" before the "H". He knew he did it and backed up...but it was too late. Once the letter gets out of your mouth, it's out.

He was satisfied with 2nd place, and so were we. We took him out to eat at one of his favorite restaurants, then checked him out of classes early, as a pat on the back for a job well done.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Hey everyone!!!

I have been really busy, all thanks to the super warm/nice weather. I'm not complaining! All of the trees bloomed overnight, it looks like it should be mid-April.

I am excitedly waiting for my 21st birthday - only 42 days!

I know they have them (in the form of a denim vest) for kiddos. Several of my students have worn them in the past. I get them from the school counselor. They are weighted so students feel "hugged."

Do they sell those for adults with anxiety? cheesy

So scary. They did run tests on Harlowe for Fanconi Syndrome, but couldn't find anything. Unbelievable what companies will do to make a buck =(

Congrats to your son!! You must be so proud, Brad!!

BIG congratulations to your son! You were right to give him that pat on the back via getting out early. I remember being cocky one year. My word was atmosphere. I left out the H. Yep, there are a lot of speres in the atmos!!!
