A quick update on my niece. She was even worse today so my other sister and my sister's chiropractor convinced my sister to take her back to the ER. The ER doctor called in a bunch of doctors and none of them really knew what to make of it. So they finally decided that it's conversion disorder (basically they don't know). They think that the stress from the arthritis is making her brain forget how to walk. They are saying that it will take months of therapy for her to learn how to walk again.
made, i didn't know your niece has arthritis. how old is she? i hate the fact that these docs do not have a clue. i am so sorry. i will continue to pray fro her daily made.
MERRYBELLS, i am sorry for the loss of your dear pet. i'm sure that was so hard on ya'll. i saw the pics of victor, he's a cutey & i love the name!!
CM3, our lives here are very very short. jobs are to be for our mere survival, in other words, work to live-do not live to work. we must have some kind of enjoyment in what we are doing. if we don't, it spirals into every aspect of our lives. your mood is affected, thus, all your time w/ friends, family, pets, shopping, meals, etc. will be measured on a less than accurate scale. THIS IS IT, THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE HERE, we all must have happiness in our work. not fitting in or feeling like an outsider is not worth our happiness. i feel very strong about this. i have very negative feelings about my job most of the time. there was a time it wasn't like that. cm3 if the opportunity comes where you can go to a better place of work & be comfortable w/ your salary, benefits, & the people around you...GO FOR IT!! good news...my niece got to go to prom last night!!
apparently when she got up yesterday morning, the swelling was down & her foot wasn't as sore. lot different from the day before, i don't know. she called me @ work to tell me & then came to get her wristlet. she was on cloud 9. later she came back by & had went & got her make up & hair done. she looked gorgeous. our hairdresser did a fab job. she said if her foot started hurting @ the prom she would take her shoes off. it sounded to me alot more serious than that, i thought it was probably broken.

my sis is in some pretty bad pain when she gets up or while sitting down. not while she's sitting though. she says it feels like everything is being ripped from her back. asked again about the back brace..."well i'm wearing it some", iyiyi, here we go again! i got all over her & then i talked to our mama & told her to make sure she gets in it & stays in it. we will see.
i've cleaned the house top to bottom waiting on my hubby to get home tonight. he called me from Atlanta when he landed there. next flight leaves @ 4:20pm & gets to Charlotte, N.C. @ 5:40pm, he's gotta take the other guy home then he's home bound!! woopy, yaay!:dance:
A little cool in comparison to how it's been - perfect for snuggling up inside! I am awaiting a call from my sister, who is 17 weeks pregnant... she asked me to come over this morning because she had SEVERE pain and couldn't move while her husband was out on a run. They are at the hospital getting all checked out - I am anxious to hear from her!!
