potatoes cooked and cooling in fridge for potato salad

base for lemon cheese cake made....home make lemon pie filling cooked....twice (forgot to add the cornstarch and after it was almost cooled I finally clued in as to why it was not thickening!)

frozen burgers keeping frozen in the freezer

tomorrow after church, I am going to chop all the vegies for the salad and then head off for an afternoon of fun.

right now I am tired for some reason

I'M ALREADY @ THE BEACH YA"LL!!!

@ work today 1 of the lady's said i could have her friday off tomorrow so we could leave earlier to get down here. after calling all the peeps involved in this here trip my daddy said, "well, let's just go today when you get off". ok so i was even able to get off of work @ 4pm which gave us a headstart on the trip. i did have to pack but hubby & daughter were all ready when i got home.
we made it, i got to see my sister & my mama a whole day early! is that not the coolest? my sister looks really well since her surgery.
we're sleeping @ my nieces house. she lives just around the block from her rents in the same subdivision. now i get to see both of my great nephews 1 whole day eary too, can it get any better? they are 7 & 11 & are so awesome!
well i couldn't go w/out talking to ya'll tonight so i called my son to get my password for here as i stay logged on @ home & don't have to use it much. now my eyes are getting very heavy as i'm posting from their computer. i'm never up this late!

Good evening, Christmas family

I am so tired tonight. I heard from the company I applied to and they sent me their test. I am so nervous about another test. I was going to take it tonight when I finished working but I was just too wiped. I want to make sure I am alert and rested when I take it. Probably in the morning after my husband leaves. And If I fail this one.......I will just find another company. I won't give up..

It is nearly Good Friday. I am going to miss going to church tomorrow. I know it may seem silly but church on Good Friday is my way of trying to be there for Him, letting Him know I haven't forgotten what He suffered. I guess the most important thing is that even though I won't be at church physically tomorrow my soul will be there.......I may watch Passion of The Christ tomorrow evening......I don't know. It is so unbelievably sad.........

I hope everyone has a wonderful, wonderful Christmassy evening and a Blessed Good Friday and Easter in case I don't make it back on for a few days......(((HUGS))) to all especially Harlowe, Ella, Snickers, Snowball, Scooby, Sasha, Daisy, Chico and his siblings, Pocket, Gomez and his siblings, Victor and all furkids everywhere xo

I feel the same way, CM3 and Shellie. We try to go the the Thursday-before-Easter Mass each year. This Thursday was not a good day, pain-wise, so I stayed home and rested. I tried to make it all day without meds, but it did not work. I, too, think that it is a small price we pay when we attend Mass and realize the big price He paid. I, too, love observing a time of silence at the same time, Shellie.

I no i say the same thing almost evey morning but i do mean it. i hate waking in the morning cause you never know what your gonna find!! i waken and the 1st thing i look is for the dogs then i go and see if darcey,shadow.jack.and pooh (they are my indoor parriots) are all ok. then i look outside and then at the cameras. silly i no
So its good friday. i always feel a bit sad today think its cause i think of what people did to your lord. how people can be so cruel even 2000 years later
Have two pallets today and omg i really need to tidy this house you wood think a bomb hit it. so am gonna be busy busy lol

Here in Winter Wonderland det SUN is shining!

We always go to the beach Good Friday, barbecuing, playing with the kids.
But this is the first Good Friday in many years we have so much SNOW!
And the weather is snowsnow-sun, so maybe if we do it fast
we can grill some sausages before the snow cames again.
Will see..

I thought you all would like to hear this. We just got back from taking our dogs to the vet to get their rabies shot. While we were there a guy walked in with a big Christmas gift bag with a cat in it!!! It was so funny to see this cat stick his head out of the top of it. He didn't have a carrier for it and grabbed that to use. Everyone was laughing and saying "we got a Christmas present"! and I hollered out, "Merry Christmas"! I turned to Wayne and said, "MMC will enjoy this one"! I wish I had taken a picture of it.

I went to my reconstruction doctor on Monday. All I can say is OW WEEE that hurt. He removed the last four stitches and injected more saline. Why any woman would choose implants in beyond me. If I weren’t so far into the process, I would call it off!!! I am still sore today.

Yesterday (Tuesday), I went for a CAT scan and another scan that I thought was "muggleswort." Turned out to be a MUGA scan which tests the ventricles of the heart to see if they are strong enough to withstand chemo. On the way home, we stopped at Arby’s for lunch. They had on the Weather Channel, and I prayed for CAH and SIT all through the meal. How scary!

Sorry to hear it was painful but guess these things have to be done. i no thats easy for me to say. . but your keep going forward take care

Seawaters, I hope all goes well for you so you can get all these health issues resolved quickly!

Thanks for praying for us. It was scary for sure! My grandkids were at school and they kept them in a "safe" area of the school for a couple of hours until it passed. Not sure how safe it was since they do not have a basement but they look after them the best they can.
