good morning my mmc friends have this finds you all good
Hope you had a good day yesterday
Have the other turkey on for todays dinner as this is easter monday and its a big day as well over here.
Had scooby at the vets this morning. and the other vet thinks he has a hernia which i wood agree with more so.he give him a long acting antibobic and said if its appears agin he wood need surgury. well i knew that anyway but the thing is he is 10 and half years old
The vet could not beleive that he was as old as that as he said that he was in great shape and his heart was very good. Guess i must have done something right for him
I now have been checking and trying to figure out a diet to keep him from straining when going to the toilet as fibre will play a good part.
He does love porrage which is a fibre thing but hates veg !!
But now am alwyas gonna be looking everytime he goes to the toilet and guess its gonna be a day to day worry. i just feel at this minute i can never plan anything as i am the type of person that could not go and leave him but he will come first. but hes in great form and one good thing i can watch and will be able to see if the henera has got bigger.
So thats my ranting and raving over !!
Really hope all is good with you all and all your furbabies. and if your of today for easter have a lovely day and take care ..talk soon

A bit of a rough Easter for us. Mr.'s father is doing badly (his cancer is no longer treatable), so Mr. was there most of the day helping out until the visiting nurse arrived at 11 p.m. But he took a break so we could go out for lunch and watch some DVDs before he went back to wait for the nurse. It's so hard on Mr. and his mother and sibs taking care of his father and watching him slowly fail. The medication to manage my f-i-l's pain is making him confused, and he's not always aware of his surroundings; he drifts in and out of awareness.
Saturday
Our Easter Roast leg of lamb is in the oven, and it's smells great
here today also.. {haha}
We got a LOT of snow here now, and that is unusual this time of year.
We are done with the egg hunting today,
and all the 6 kids are enjoying their easter eggs!
Hope everyone is having a great day! ♥
I guess I'm just going to have to move down there and take the job so you can finally get your first shift.
Later yesterday afternoon, Nancy's sister was hospitalized for a suspected blood clot in her leg (her report this morning was good, and she's being released), so Nancy spent the night in the hospital with her
Good Evening
Happy Easter

On Saturday, I was not able to tune in to the Greasy Skillet. That was Easter Vigil and the service lasts longer on that night than any other of the year. It is always a good service, though, as we welcomed new members into the church. Hubby and I went out to Round Table after church and ordered the Italiano mini pizzas. We were dumbfounded when they arrived. We ordered the special where you get four for $20 thinking they would be small. We ended up bringing two of them home. They were the same size as a small pizza, and we thought they would be the size of the personal ones. A very pleasant surprise! Yesterday I took my former aide to Wal Mart so she could get cat food and other things (she doesn't drive), and we went to my classroom to pick up paper so I could make some masters from my home computer. Then I took a nap and started on dinner: ham, potaoes, veggies, biscuits, ham sauce, and brownies. I have to tell you that the ham was the best Hubby and I have ever fixed. It was so moist and delicious. The ham sauce is from a very old recipe from our church's ladies group. The potatoes were one of the best "recipes" I have ever had: Idahoan Roasted Garlic Parmesan. All you add is water. I was pretty leery, but I followed the directions; and they were WONDERFUL!!! The best "mix" potatoes I have ever had, no lie! I also made brownies, my first attempt at using Splenda in place of sugar. They were pretty darn good, and Hubby did not guess the secret ingredient: black beans!!! We had a late dinner, so I was not able to get on the computer. We had plans to watch a movie, but sleep overtook us. I go to the oncologist this afternoon. I am not sure if I will have my first chemo treatment or if we will just discuss our course of action. I guess I will know in a few hours. Have a great day, everyone.
Thank you for all of your prayers and positive thoughts. Troubled times are somehow a little easier when you know that others care about what you're going through. You're the greatest bunch!
