good morning my mmc friends have this finds you all good
Hope you had a good day yesterday
Have the other turkey on for todays dinner as this is easter monday and its a big day as well over here.
Had scooby at the vets this morning. and the other vet thinks he has a hernia which i wood agree with more so.he give him a long acting antibobic and said if its appears agin he wood need surgury. well i knew that anyway but the thing is he is 10 and half years old
The vet could not beleive that he was as old as that as he said that he was in great shape and his heart was very good. Guess i must have done something right for him
I now have been checking and trying to figure out a diet to keep him from straining when going to the toilet as fibre will play a good part.
He does love porrage which is a fibre thing but hates veg !!
But now am alwyas gonna be looking everytime he goes to the toilet and guess its gonna be a day to day worry. i just feel at this minute i can never plan anything as i am the type of person that could not go and leave him but he will come first. but hes in great form and one good thing i can watch and will be able to see if the henera has got bigger.
So thats my ranting and raving over !!
Really hope all is good with you all and all your furbabies. and if your of today for easter have a lovely day and take care ..talk soon

Hope they've got it all figured out for Scooby now! Hope you have a great day today!

Hope everyone had a good Easter! has been a while since I posted....

Question for you...has anyone been to A Christmas Story House in Cleveland? I was in Cleveland about 3 years ago in November but didnt realize the house was there. We are going to Cedar Point in Ohio about a month from now and wondering if it is worth a side trip over to Cleveland to see it. Any thoughts???

I meant to ask when you posted about the spoon roast earlier, but time got away from me; but what is a spoon roast?

Hello all,

Busy day today, probably be busier tomorrow. We are in great shape for post-Easter, getting ahead of the game is the battle. We will be doing most of the cooking for Easter meal, I have my spoon roast thawing in the fridge, I have to get up in a few minutes to make the chocolate peanut butter balls. Tomorrow will be here before I know it, soooooo...

Good night everyone.

Better yet, why didn't you invite us to see, and eat, it in person. Hello??? We have the jet!!!

A bit of a rough Easter for us. Mr.'s father is doing badly (his cancer is no longer treatable), so Mr. was there most of the day helping out until the visiting nurse arrived at 11 p.m. But he took a break so we could go out for lunch and watch some DVDs before he went back to wait for the nurse. It's so hard on Mr. and his mother and sibs taking care of his father and watching him slowly fail. The medication to manage my f-i-l's pain is making him confused, and he's not always aware of his surroundings; he drifts in and out of awareness.

So sorry to hear it was such a hard Easter for you guys, Merry. I pray that your FIL finds some peace. Praying for him and your entire family, especially Mr.

Monday, but it feels like Sunday..

Lovely day here today!
The sun finally came! ☼

Tomorrow schools and Daycare are open again
and the Easter break is over =}

Hope everyone is having a GREAT day! ♥

That sounds delish! I love leg of lamb and all the trimmings. I bet the Easter eggs were easy to find in the snow, or did you leave them white???

Saturday
Our Easter Roast leg of lamb is in the oven, and it's smells great
here today also.. {haha}
We got a LOT of snow here now, and that is unusual this time of year.

We are done with the egg hunting today,
and all the 6 kids are enjoying their easter eggs!

Hope everyone is having a great day! ♥

Made, this is so funny. I was getting ready to type that SIT should offer you the job when I read your post. You know what they say about great minds. Heck, I wish they were talking about us!!!

I guess I'm just going to have to move down there and take the job so you can finally get your first shift.

Later yesterday afternoon, Nancy's sister was hospitalized for a suspected blood clot in her leg (her report this morning was good, and she's being released), so Nancy spent the night in the hospital with her

Glad your SIL got a good report! That was nice of Nancy to do that.

Good afternoon, MMC! How is everyone doing today? Hope you're all well! We just grilled some hot dogs on the grill for lunch and they were delicious!

Anything new with anyone? Nothing new here. We're just doing some cleaning up around the house and laundry. Later on this evening, we're going to my parents for dinner and then for ice cream.

Easter was lovely yesterday with my family. It was busy, but that's how all holidays are. I just love being able to spend time with my family and making new memories. It's wonderful that God gives us another to spend together!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend with your families. Thank you to everyone for the Easter wishes in all of your posts! Hope you all have a great rest of your Monday! Off to get some more things done. Talk to you all later on.

I wish...I feel bad saying this, as I know you're working, but I think I may take a nap soon.

Thank you for all of your prayers and positive thoughts. Troubled times are somehow a little easier when you know that others care about what you're going through. You're the greatest bunch!

On Saturday, I was not able to tune in to the Greasy Skillet. That was Easter Vigil and the service lasts longer on that night than any other of the year. It is always a good service, though, as we welcomed new members into the church. Hubby and I went out to Round Table after church and ordered the Italiano mini pizzas. We were dumbfounded when they arrived. We ordered the special where you get four for $20 thinking they would be small. We ended up bringing two of them home. They were the same size as a small pizza, and we thought they would be the size of the personal ones. A very pleasant surprise! Yesterday I took my former aide to Wal Mart so she could get cat food and other things (she doesn't drive), and we went to my classroom to pick up paper so I could make some masters from my home computer. Then I took a nap and started on dinner: ham, potaoes, veggies, biscuits, ham sauce, and brownies. I have to tell you that the ham was the best Hubby and I have ever fixed. It was so moist and delicious. The ham sauce is from a very old recipe from our church's ladies group. The potatoes were one of the best "recipes" I have ever had: Idahoan Roasted Garlic Parmesan. All you add is water. I was pretty leery, but I followed the directions; and they were WONDERFUL!!! The best "mix" potatoes I have ever had, no lie! I also made brownies, my first attempt at using Splenda in place of sugar. They were pretty darn good, and Hubby did not guess the secret ingredient: black beans!!! We had a late dinner, so I was not able to get on the computer. We had plans to watch a movie, but sleep overtook us. I go to the oncologist this afternoon. I am not sure if I will have my first chemo treatment or if we will just discuss our course of action. I guess I will know in a few hours. Have a great day, everyone.

Sounds like you had a lovely Easter weekend! Good luck today. Let us know how you make out.

I love Idahoan potatoes!! They're our favorite!
Hubby discovered them last year by accident, I sent him for Betty Crocker & he brought those back instead. =)
We had the four cheese mashed potatoes yesterday w/ our grilled pork chops!! YUM!
Their Au Gratin are excellent too.

Good luck at your appointment today. I'll be thinking of you!
