Whew ... dismantled the old dearly departed stereo yesterday and dragged the cabinet to the front room, where Mr. dismantled it for disposal this morning. Then we found an old media cart in the basement that we could reuse for the new turntable/CD/cassette/radio/CD recorder unit instead of buying a new one. I cleaned it up, brought it upstairs, and got the unit and a couple other components on it that didn't have shelves to sit on before, and connected everything up. I'm pooped! Time to put my feet up for a while until our friend gets here with the posters in an hour or two. (Glad he's running late today!)
got up again, son had to leave for a birthday party for his best friend. Heated up a burger I did not feel like eating yesterday, tasted real good.

Both of the kids did fall asleep for a short while, right before my hubby came home, so I caught about 1/2 hour power nap. I think I ready to go again until tonight (I hope!) I think I will be drinking some more coffee again this evening though!
Unfortunately though, he didn't make it home in enough time for me to be able to get ready for church, so now I can go there or go see my parents this evening. EA is a little bummed about not being able to go to "Nana and Pappy's". Oh well.
