Thank you for the prayers for my doctor appointment. I was only in there for about twenty minutes total, including the wait. He said that everything looked so good that I didn't even need an x-ray this time around!
That is great news from the doctor!
I've been putting out the "weed & feed" on my lawn, and now the sprinkler is running. Hopefully those ol' nasty weeds will be a thing of the past!
We have been selling a lot of Weed and Feed at our store. I work at a store that not only takes care of animals but yards as well. You would think my yard is beautiful but it's not! The weeds in my yard make my lawn green!
How are we going to make the dandelion wine then?

My Russian Tortoise would love that! That is one thing I allow to grow in my yard because he loves eating them. They say it's good for them and I pick him a few everyday. =)
One month ago today my brother passed away.
I am so very sorry to hear. He sounded like an athlete and it's a shame he was doing something good for himself when he passed. You will be in my prayers.
In a nutshell, Ivy is not doing well ....None of the treatments have worked.....If she is not improved tomorrow we are going to have to, well I don't even want to say it. It just hurts too much.
(((Hugs))) to you!!!
Crown - give Carl a hug for me!
You can give him a hug yourself! Today we will all be at The Pines! =)
I got JP to ride a roller coaster with me, I love roller coasters, I don't think he will ever ride another, he was so scared.
My daughter and I rode roller coasters all the time while she was growing up. The more dangerous it looks the better! Ha ha!

My son, who is 22 years old right now, hated coasters. He still does! My son once got on the Steel Eel at Sea World and when I looked over it looked like he passed out. His lips were pale and eyes shut (just for a few seconds). Scared the crud out of me! I think it was just fear but I told him to not ever get on one again. He didn't even want to be on that one but wanted to try it out.

Now I am happy to say that my 8 year old grandson LOVES them! Now I have someone to ride coasters with again!!! My 6 year old grandson is scared of most rides so I know he won't be into coasters, ever.
My youngest daughter is in her bed with fever today..
Poor little one..
I hope she gets well soon!
Enjoy the fun -- but watch out for a certain camel's attempts to get you to try one of his weird coffee blends.
Will it makes us weird too?
Getting bettter every day, just wish this cough would dissapear!
I hope you get better soon!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

According to the weatherman (who doesn't have my full trust), we have a good possibility of rain for the next few days. That would be nice, as it's been pretty dry around here.

Nancy has the day off since tax season ended yesterday. I was planning to have lunch with her today, but she was pretty irritated with me this morning for not getting the kids up early for school. She had to rush on her morning off. Maybe I better get a burger and eat at work today, eh?

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I am excited! We have a train trip planned this summer to San Antonio and going to Sea World. It will be my mother, 2 grandsons and myself going. We will have 2 roomettes on board the train going to San Antonio and back which includes all meals in the dining car. If we drove there it would be a 5 hour drive but taking a train is 10 hours. Which I love that it takes that long, train trips are awesome! I especially love it when we stay several days on the train! Lots of fun! I have traveled all over the United States by train and highly recommend it if you have never been on one.

Last year we took a train trip there but just stayed around the Riverwalk, where our hotel was at, and never made it to Sea World. This year we are staying right next to Sea World and will get a pass to go for several days in a row.

My mom wants to plan a train trip to California to take the kids to Disneyland sometime. We did that a couple of times when my kids were little. It was fun! We also took them to Disney World in Florida by train. That route is down now after Hurricane Katrina hit.

Last year after I took that trip and returned I went into full Christmas mode! I am sure that will happen again! I got my summer fun out of the way, time for fall and Christmas! :yahoo:

Wayne, my son and dad will be holding down the fort at home while I am a way. It's also nice that my daughter and son-in-law live next to me!

Ho ho ho everyone!
Carl just welcomed me back to the pines with a candy cane hot chocolate. So nice of him! I hope everyone is doing well. My work shift is all upside down still. But I had some time to post. Have a picture of myself from work the other day. As most of you know I keep Christmas stuff up at my desk all year round. Well someone moved next to me that has a Santa hat. Then they put it on my head. So I wore it for a bit at work. Nobody thought it was strange because it was me! haha! I have been thinking of Christmas lately and need a fix soon. Don't we all! William is getting over being sick and my Wife just finished having a root canal. Fun times eh? Well I should probably get back to my shows. I'm finishing up watching Lost Girl and New Girl. Awesome. Have a great day everyone!!!!

Here I am. Ho ho ho! Merry April?

I don't blame him. I hate roller coasters. I went on one that made several loops one time and I've never been on one again.

Dandelion greens aren't bad. We use to make salad's with them when we would go out on our survival trips for scouts. Cattail roots are good too. They taste just like a potato.

New Accounts on MHH have to be manually approved unlike here on MMC where they are automatically approved. So it's just a matter of time. I'm not sure who all can approve them but I know Jeff has been busy getting ready to do some updates here on MMC. I'm sure he will get back to you soon.

Thanks, Made. You always seem to have an answer for everything.

Sugar, pick me up a plate from Applebee's! That sounds delicious! I hope that you enjoy your evening and the next few days (:

I am finally done with school for the week! I am off for the next three days and the weekend of course. Sadly, I feel like I have so much to do. I have tons of homework, studying for final, projects, errands, etc. I guess I'd rather do that than go to class. I do want to spare some time for the Penguins game of course and also I really want to go see the Hunger Games movie.

So glad to hear your appt. went well! Thanks for the well wishes for my day today! I am sure we will have lots of fun!

Don't work too had - I know that's easy for me to say, but make sure you do take some time to enjoy yourself too. Enjoy the game tonight (or at least try to), as I will be missing it. Hopefully they can pull this out!

I love riding on a train, so relaxing. Went accross Canada years ago, an amazing trip!

looking good!

Well the Neurologist was at least truthful and said they have no Idea. Basically just wait and see if it happens again.

In other news the Colts have only 1 prime time game this year and it's on a Thursday. So I guess we know how the NFL feels they are going to do.

Thanks for the update, Made. Even though they didn't tell you something you didn't already know, I like a doctor who is honest with you.

Yes, it sounds like they aren't expecting much out of this Colts this year. Let's hope they surprise us!

hey ya'll!!:snowball:

headed back to work today, it's usually a half day so i think i'll be good!

ya' know what guys? ok, the site will be down from tonight @ 9pm thru tomorrow right? i hope i'm not being too forward, but why don't we use that time to be in special prayer for each other here? there's so many of us who really need it now & i was thinking we could use that "down time" as a time of prayer for each other. just thinking out loud.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a nice day here in central Indy with a high near 70 degrees. I don't have anything planned for today but I'll probably end up at my sister's house sometime today to say happy birthday to my youngest niece. We are having her party on Saturday. I also need to run by the grocery store for milk and bread. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

happy birthday to your neice what age today

Hello everybody - you have no idea how many times I have thought about all of you & my little Christmas home here in the last month, but it has been -not a good month. One month ago today my brother passed away. He was mountain biking on St. Patty's Day when he had a heart attack & died instantly. The autopsy report is not back yet, but my brother has been talking to the coroner (my bro is a retired cop so he has all the "inside" information) March 17th was a gorgeous day in Ohio. I was having the greatest day - I went for a long walk in the morning, then took the dog for a walk, then I went to the lake & went for my 1st bike ride of the season. I got home & I was hanging clothes on the line thinking how it was one of them days that it is just so perfect it seems like something bad is going to happen to shatter the bubble. It was kind of an eerie feeling looking back. About an hour later I got a phone call from an investigater who was with my brothers wife, telling me what had happened. :( Life changes in an instant, and it will never be the same. We miss him so much! :( I am so thankful for my big family so we can go through this together (though it stinks) & our wonderful friends & especially for nothing but wonderful memories of Mike. I honestly can not remember a bad memory of Mike. He was such a happy person, always making people smile & doing whatever he could do to make the world a better place. As his co-workers said "he made the sun shine brighter & our lives are better for having known him" And now my goal is to model my life by his - what an honor to be his sister!

Ok - sorry to be such a downer tonight. I wanted to let you know the reason I haven't been around. We really are doing alright coping, but it's one day at a time! Just keep smiling!

Now I am going to read some of your recent posts b/c I know you all will make me smile! :)

I hope everyone is doing well!

First and foremost, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you're going through. Thank goodness you do have a big family to wrap your arms around each other for big hugs and to help each other cope. God Bless you.

Secondly, we've missed you as well. We understand though why you haven't been here. Come back only when you feel it's the right time for you. I hope you continue to heal and find closure. Prayers for you, your brother's wife and your entire wife. Thinking about you, Holiday.

I am getting some energy back, but this cough is really making my ribs sore. I am sure I will be over it soon (at least I hope I will)
Thanks for thinking about me!

Been thinking of you! Hope you continue to feel better everyday!

Good evening,

Six Flags was a blast, so glad we bought season passes this year. The kids did very well, considering a 7, 4, 3, and 1 year old almost did 8 hours there with little complaining. I got JP to ride a roller coaster with me, I love roller coasters, I don't think he will ever ride another, he was so scared. The Teacups were more his speed, maybe a few years from now we can ride some coasters. The only thing I really have to complain about are the prices of the food, $13 for a hamburger! We were going to go to BK but these, um, dirtbags got there at the same time we did and were openly doing drugs, we did not want to expose our children to that so we left and decided to eat at the park instead. I am really tired now, late day tomorrow, hopefully I can get here tomorrow before the maintenance.

Have a good night!

So glad to hear you guys had a great time, but I'm sorry to hear about the BK part. It's truly sad what the world has come to.
