Great weather today---sunny and just warm enough! We're home-bound today, though, 'cause Mr. is on call with his office and doesn't know when the work is coming in, or whether he can do it from home or will have to schlep in to the office.

Otherwise, just feeling lazy and being lazy this weekend.

I finished crocheting the snowflake afghan last night, but I don't have photos of it to post yet. I'm toying with the idea of offering it for sale in the Merry Marketplace and donating the price (if and when it sells) to MMC's Santa's Sleigh charity. Thoughts? (Offers? cheesy)

You know what's worse than cleaning up for company?

Cleaning up the mess after they leave. Just trying to get things back to normal around here, but I need to take a rest right now.

My wife took JP to baseball practice last night, she was impressed on how much he likes it, she thinks it will be his thing, he has a beautiful natural left handed swing, and he was the only one on his team hitting the ball into the outfield with regularity Baseball sort of runs in the family, my grandfather almost made the Pittsburgh Pirates back in the 40's, he was able to throw quite a mean curveball. I hope JP really enjoys it, it was my favorite sport to play when I was age right through high school.

Good morning,


I went to work this morning, but came home sick. I probably shouldn't have gone in at all, but I couldn't leave my employee alone to put away 8 pallets of merchandise, most of the boxes weigh 40lbs or more and the pallets are stacked up to 7ft tall, I helped get that done hoping I would feel better, but I didn't so here I am. I have more employees coming in at 1230 and 130, so it shouldn't be too bad.

My wife went to go see The Hunger Games with her mother and brother, my older son went with his aunt to go see Chimpanzee, and LC is at daycare, he isn't ready for movies yet. We started taking JP to the movies when he was 2, LC is 4, he is just not interested to sit long enough to handle it, we may try to take him later this summer to see one.

I will probably take a nap, and take advantage of the quietness.

We are having a family Birthday Party tomorrow for both my girls.

I'm exhaused..

Good afternoon, Christmas family !

What a MIRACULOUS day but then I guess they all are.

IVY IS HOME !!! She is doing well. She ate, napped with her dad, and is the Ivy she was before this whole thing happened. To think she nearly died........I guess sometimes it takes something like this to help one realize how blessed we are.......Our vet is such a kind man. He only charged us for what he did treatment wise, did not charge ONE PENNY for boarding her for the week or for feeding her.

My cup TRULY runneth over right now.......I am crying with tears of joy. Ivy is home AND I have a new job........GOD IS SO GOOD xo And so are all of you (((((Hugs)))))) xo

So happy Ivy is home with you guys and so happy about your job. That was very nice for your vet to do that for you. What a sweet man! Hugs!

Well my niece didn't get a good report at the rheumatolagist today. The arthritis is active in her ankle's, knee's, and wrist's again. They are going to start her on a new infusion but first they want to get her tested for a latex allergy because she breaks out every time she has something done.

Bless her heart. I will be thinking about her and keeping in my prayers. Hope this new infusion helps.

Good saturday everyone! it's been a while since I have been online,I need a break every now and then. Things have slowed down a tad,but I am still working alot of hours. Brandi is getting ready for the end of the school year only a month left of classes,then we will have a week off before summer school which she has decided to teach starts and goes for 4 weeks,then we will have a month off before fall classes start again. Fall is such a great word!!! I am being tranferred in a year or 2 and I am going up north so I can finally enjoy snow and Fall again!!! Jordan is growing so fast and by next year we will have 2 little ones...its' scary haow fast things change!! well have a great day everyone I miss my mmc buddies alot these days!

my rents are sooo happy i'm using the e-cig still & not smoking real cigs. i can't really tell a difference yet in how i feel because i've still got this terrible cough from being sick.
