Rain here.. good day to sleep Crown.////?

YABBA! COFFEE AWAITS ONE POT DOWN....................

Everyone here is FREAKING out. There is a weather watch saying we can get anywhere between 6 and 14 inches of snow from tomorrow night into Monday. My city is supposed to be in the bulls eye.

I guess I better run to the grocery store tomorrow. Wonder if I'll make it to classes on Monday!
that is a fair amount of snow, but why do people freak out over it? A day or two and it will all be gone again, it happens every year.
We really are strange aren't we? LOL

Ohhh, snow! I read that as rain!!! Well, that's fun! We're just getting boring rain. Late for a snowstorm, huh?

Wow that is a lot of snow for this time of year, even for PA. The latest I ever remember getting any snow when I lived in Maryland was around Easter, I remember saying we didn't have a white Christmas but at least we had a white Easter. But I don't think it was that much, wow!

Wayne and I had a good day yesterday. We played miniature golf and went out to eat. We will be hitting a driving range soon so I can learn to golf. I can't wait!

Then we listened to the Greasy Skillet last night!

Dawg, good to see you again and hope things get better for you!

Jude, good to see you back too!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It's going to be another cool one here in central Indy. That's fine with me. I'll take 50's over 80's any day. I have a lot of cleaning to do today. My niece's trashed my kitchen yesterday morning and I was to tired to clean it last night. I also need to run to the store. I'm completely out of allergy medicine and I'm coughing my head off. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I usually rush through and try to read some posts but never got the chance to reply before my kids are rushing me off, hehe

Made, I'm with you... I'll take the 50s anyday over 80s, although yesterday was nice with no humidity. I do prefer the cold, for sure!

I'm watching my favorite hawk cam from the Franklin Institute near me... 2 babies hatched yesterday! Waiting for 1 more!

Wow people you know I am out of it when I don't keep up with the weather...anyone around here who knows me and my weather nut tendancies. I have not listened or looked at the weather in weeks. And all this talk of snow has me thinking what the heck???!! I think I may be feeling better because I am getting interested in my things again, including the weather.lol
Anyways,I slept very good last night after I finally went to sleep around midnight, but it was way to overcast to see the meteor shower. I don't know what I am going to do today I may just watch tv all day. Brandi went to church and I stayed home I slept that late!! in fact I just got up at 1030!! I hope everyone has a great Sunday!!!

That's incredible! Stay safe, and post photos if you can!
I'm in New England, and we're only expecting a rainy week with the temps in the 50s and 60s (F). But it's a bit nutty because after being in drought conditions for a couple months, we're now under a flood watch. Wacky weather.

Hey all! I took a nap and got up to eat again, looks like I may have a night of insomnia...anyhow...I have not listened to the news at all in like 6 weeks...then this afternoon I turned on the news and I am so amazed at the headlines!!! I recommend anyone who is stressed out not to listen to the news.lol The last month and a half have been the hardest time in my life for many different reasons...and I tend to shut down emotionally when that happens...I turn off the TV and Computer and just keep myself busy and my mind on something else...I hope I feel better soon, cause this stinks.lol!!! well goodnight again buddies! I may be back later though!!

I was a HUGE news junkie for a long time, I have abandoned that for nearly a year now. It really does affect you negatively sometimes, the whole Virginia Tech shooting 5 years ago really struck a nerve with me emotionally. I read headlines now and try to stay to mostly lighter stuff. Politics, don't get me started on that, I blame most of my lack of interest in the news, on the partisan bickering.

That's a lot of snow, especially for April, stay safe.

Happy Sunday, everyone! Thinking of all of you who are having a less than splendid day, and wishing you well.

We're annoyed with Mr.'s workplace. He was on call yesterday to work at home, and another proofreader was supposed to be on call today. He kept checking in all day yesterday: first the work was supposed to come "after 4 p.m.," then "later in the evening." At midnight, they told him the job would be coming in the morning (remember, he wasn't supposed to be working today!). So he got up early, and the job---several hours' worth---finally came in around 9:15. So he's working on that now, then he has to take his turn looking after his father for a while later today. Thanks, workplace, for utterly ruining his weekend ... but that's the ad biz. At least we got to go out for a sandwich and ice cream yesterday. And they have to pay him overtime. (Okay, vent over---thanks for listening.)

Good morning,

I made chocolate chip pancakes, and turkey bacon for breakfast, then I made banana bread after that. Breakfast was good. Waiting for the rain to get here, as it is supposed to rain for most of the week like MC said. We really need it, so much fire potential around here from all the downed, dried out trees from the tornado, the town next to us that the tornado also went through had a large forest fire a couple weeks ago in the tornado devastated area. So rain will be a welcome sight, even though my basement will probably get flooded.

Penguins at noon, Bruins at 3. A good day of hockey ahead of me.

Have a great Sunday!!

I used to never miss the news, now rarely watch it and then just for the main stories. Definitely do not watch before bed, been sleeping better since.

Holy cow!! Where in PA are you? I'm in Montgomery County, about 15 miles outside Philly. I think they are saying 3 inches for us... 6 to 14 is nuts!!! Stay safe!

I am in Pittsburgh! Thank you!

I have no clue, I think people just assume they are going to be trapped or something like that. It's April though so it should melt quickly. The only thing is that they are saying this snow is supposed to be extremely heavy.

I know! The most snow my parents remember us having was at the beginning of April over twenty years ago. My brother was being brought home from the hospital and it was a mini-blizzard. I can't believe we're supposed to get so much.

Lol! Your thoughts about the snow are mine too. I still can't believe it. We had such a quiet winter here and now snow.

That's incredible! Stay safe, and post photos if you can!

Thank you! I will definitely snap photos! That reminds me to charge my camera, so thank you very much :] Yuck, I am so tired of rain. It's been pouring all day yesterday and today too. The weather is crazy indeed.

Thank you! I agree it is a lot of snow for this time of the year.
------------------------------------

The weather forecasters still don't know exactly how it's going to hit, but they are saying that we are getting at least 6 inches here and it could still be over a foot. They are very concerned because they said this is going to be an extremely wet and heavy snow that will cause all kinds of problems with freezing power lines, etc. They said to park our cars as far away from the telephone poles and the lines as possible. They are also concerned that it's going to melt quickly from the increasing temperatures by Wednesday and that it'll cause massive flooding.

I am not looking forward to the after-math of this snow! It's all supposed to hit tonight, so I guess we'll see.
