How has you're mom been feeling? I've still been thinking about her and you.

She is doing ok. Her second Oncologist agreed with the first that she really has no options. Hopefully the cancer stays very slow growing and they can manage the pain. Thanks for asking and for the prayers.

Good luck in the playoffs. Is your son going to college anywhere? If so, is he going to play in college?

Thanks. Not sure we will qualify for the playoffs. It will depend on the next 3 games.

He is certainly planning on college and is looking at several. He still has 2 years of high school to go.

That's great then. Maybe I remember you telling me that, I'm not sure. That's wonderful - you still have 2 years of ball to watch him. High school sports were some of the best years of my life!

hey ya'll, real quick, my sister called & told me about this recipe for a dessert my niece made for her bible study the other night. i mean how easy can ya' get?

4 or 5 ganny smith apples-chopped
4 regular snicker bars-cut up
1 carton of cool whip

mix & enjoy!

all this talk about ya'll baking is kill'in me!!!!

my oldest son left gum in his pocket & i washed his jeans w/ my daughter's jacket......little balls of gum are all over her jacket. arghh!!! i was pretty furious about it. i looked over the rest of the wash & didn't see much more so what i could, i put in the dryer...well then i thought, i probably didn't see it all so i stopped the dryer. good thing i did cause it had started sticking in my dryer. oh man!!!!!!! finally got it all out of the dryer. daughter's jacket looks awful, it's one of those fuzzy feeling Northface jackets...black!!! the gum is green, winterfresh to be exact!!! i called around. some said to put it in the freezer, no luck! i called the dry cleaners they said to bring it & let them see. the lady said they'll try...they have a solution they can dip it in & see if it comes out. i pick it up on Wednesday-we'll see.

I hope they can get the gum out!! =]

Taking a very late lunch today at least I get one though! I just volunteered to house sits for 3 puppies this weekend....3 un house trained puppies!!! I am looking forward to it though. I am taking my dog(snowball)with me it's for a friend who is going to be out of town for a wedding,he lives in Tallahassee which is like a hour and a half drive from where I live,and I would much much rather house sit them there than in my clean house. I can't tell you how long it's been since I have tried to house train a dog. I just hope I can relax and don't get all excited and stressed over the little things. Brandi said I should go alone and she would stay behind because she has finals to and end of school year stuff to get done. I will take my laptop in case I have alot of downtime.I will leave friday morning and take friday off and come ack on sunday afternoon, this is the first time I have gone anywhere for the weekend in 2 months....well I am about to eat chili,and the weather is still cool here..we had frost this morning!!!! have a great day all!

I received my final grade in Statistics today - an 89% which is the highest B. I wish it was a 90! The class is 4 credits which means it is about as hard as you can get, so the A would have provided more weight for my grade. I'll take the 89 though, especially for a math class!

Good afternoon MMC friends and Merry Christmas Eve in April! I am listening to Christmas music right now and plan to watch something festive tonight. I am about to get ready for the day, helping a friend out with some stuff.

Congrats. I remember the days of that class and getting B. I never looked back. I was so happy with that grade. You did a great job. It was so hard and I was never so happy when it was hard. I wouldn't have taken it if I wouldn't needed it (obviously)!
