Good morning MMC! Happy Pines Day and Happy Rudolph Day!:rudolph:

Hola mi amigo's!!!!! It looks like it's going to be a stormy day here in central Indy. That's fine with me. I don't have anywhere to go. I think I'll just sit here and plan out my garden for this year. I also have to help my neighbor pack his van. He is going to his son's house in Michigan for a couple of weeks and then they are heading to Florida for a couple of weeks after that. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

And that excitement has got Carl all worked up.
Since this is the final 'Pines open house of April (can we be that far along through the year already??) Carl has created a theme of "April Showers Bring May Flowers"
The 'Pines is decorated to the hilt with flowers of all sorts. It has never been so beautiful.
(Be sure to bring your camera!)
And the door prize -- not one, but TWO dozen roses.
Sweet!
But BEWARE! An anonymous source claims to have seen Carl busy in the kitchen with coffee beans and some extra chrysanthemums.
Oh, Oh!

looking forward to a fun time at the pines tonight!

Carl, I love roses!!!

it is always nice when the weather outside is frightful, you can stay inside where the fire inside's delightful!

Morning! Just went for a jog with the kids (what a pain in the butt with the stroller and the sidewalks getting ripped up!) and took the kids to get bagels, their little treat for being good during our jog! I think we'll head to the park with the big pond later today and look for baby ducks! :)

I can't believe we only have 8 months 'till the big day! And 3 months until Christmas in July!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone! Happy Rudolph Day to you all :] Knowing that provides me with a little bit of morning cheer, even though I am pretty exhausted! At least we are to Wednesday, almost half of the work/school week is done!

I am up extra early this morning because I have to go to my college and take a final exam for my online class. Once I am done with the final, I am all done with the class! It will be a relief, I can finally have some time to myself and for my friends during the weekend.

Today it is going to be in the very low 60's, but I will doubt that we even reach that with how cold it has been. I just realized that I never addressed the snow! The meteorologists were calling for 12-16 inches originally. They kept dropping the amount until they said we might get only 4-6 inches. When I went to bed on Sunday night, I was pretty sure that I'd wake up to a hefty amount. The next morning, I got up in the middle of the night (when it was supposed to hit) and there was no snow on the ground. I assumed that it didn't hit yet. When I woke up the next morning we had no snow on the ground at all! I had to say I was surprised because I expected at least a couple of inches.

I was a little disappointed because it would have been nice to see some April snow and snap a few pictures before it melts. I guess it would have made for some messy travel, so I'll just have to wait until November to see snow again.

The only thing that I saw were some flurries and that didn't make for good pictures, lol!

I hope everyone has a good day at work/school and feels well, is stress free, and that the day goes by quickly. Talk to you all later :] Enjoy Rudolph Day!!

thats what I need, small kids to walk! I used to walk a lot when my kids were little.

disapointing, Gladys lost, even though she did a great jive. oh well, she was amazing!
My mom wanted her to win too!

OK-Zers!
OK-Zers! I am looking forward to that Spring blend!

My mom, my granddaughter and I went to the lake yesterday. We went for a walk and attempted to feed the ducks but I guess someone beat us to it, none of them seemed hungry! We did see several families, mommy and her ducklings. Really cute to watch! We walked quite a ways then stopped to eat our picnic lunch. It was a beautiful day out.

Today will be in the 90's. Yikes! Perfect for Rudolph Day? Sure! We will make it PERFECT!

HAPPY RUDOLPH DAY! :merry:

sounds like a fun day!
We have a river in our park full of swans and ducks and geese. Our information booth is by the river and they sell swan and duck food in an attempt to get people to stop tossing bread to them. (bread absorbs bad bacteria and can make the birds very sick, especially since it is not part of their diet anyway)

I laughed so loud one day while sitting at the river next to some tourists having a picnic. One lady says to the others that they should give the left overs to the swans because they had babies and would still be nursing. LOL

I was at the park yesterday with the lady I look after and my daughter, we stayed in the van to have lunch because it was to wet and cold out to sit at a picnic table.

today is also professional assistants day. maybe we will get busy from that. they use to call it secretary's day but i think people are trying to be more politically correct...whatever!

So is the politically correct term for Christmas Nut: Winter Season Celebration Steward? or Holiday Enthusiast? cheesy

I have heard that about bread and didn't bring any. I brought actual duck feed that I bought at the place I work for so they had some nutritional food but they wouldn't eat it. I did scatter it around so they had it for later if they wanted it. Usually when I take them food they gobble it all up quickly! =)

Good morning,

I have to go to work soon, blechhh! I really need to start looking for something else, I'm so burnt out on what I am doing, I never feel like I accomplish anything at my job anymore. Enough of that. It is a bright and sunny day here, but they are calling for rain tomorrow and Friday. Friday will be my wife and I's 10th Wedding anniversary, we will be celebrating it by taking JP to Cub Scouts, cheesy Saturday her parents will probably watch the boys so we can go out. I am going to try to put some pictures of our wedding on the computer so I can make an album of it soon. Big Game 7 tonight, of course I am going to miss most of it, but GO BRUINS!!!

I got to go call Comcast, so Have a great day!!!

Happy :rudolph: Day
