Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends, and Happy Rudolph Day! :rudolph:

Wow! Rudolph Day and Pines Day all in one?!? I imagine the Pines is going to get crazier than usual. I better bring a camcorder.

I have to setup a rental sign this afternoon for a guy I used to work with. I rent the signs by the week or month, but I have to charge for a minimum of 1 week, because folks kept asking for a 1 day rental for $10 or $15. It's just waaayyy too much work for that. Anyway, this guy will probably want a prorated charge, too. We'll see what happens later, I guess.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I have heard that about bread and didn't bring any. I brought actual duck feed that I bought at the place I work for so they had some nutritional food but they wouldn't eat it. I did scatter it around so they had it for later if they wanted it. Usually when I take them food they gobble it all up quickly! =)
lettuce is good for them too

people always want stuff cheaper, I have had people hang up on me when I quote them a price for a cake.

Heigh ho, Heigh ho.... yeah yeah you know the rest. cheesy

Have a great day!!!!

I did terrible on my final exam. My teacher put me in a computer lab and this girl kept talking and screaming so I couldn't even concentrate. The questions were tricky and each had two that could potentially be the right answer. I couldn't even focus with her shouting at people. The only good news is that he has to grade the essays on his own, so I might manage to get a D instead of failing. I have never done so poorly on a test! What an awful way to end the semester in that class. Happy Rudolph Day to me

Good afternoon,

Just waiting for my wife to get home from her meeting to start making dinner, turkey tacos! It has been a long day, but I took it easy, just cleaned up a bit. Hmmm, should I surprise my wife with some brownies? I am leaning that way.

YUM!!! What a sweet thing for you to do for her!! cheesy

Talk to you later tonight.

hay ya'll!!

got in from work a little bit ago. my feet are killing me. i have 2 pair of the skecher shape-ups. i've already quit wearing 1 pair & now the 2nd pairs gotta go too. the odd thing is they started hurting my toes, not my heels. most people say the heels give out 1st. good thing it's spring. i 'm just about ready to turn to my flip flops for a couple months. i've been wearing those skechers for 2 years now, that's alot w/ how often i wear them to work. i love my flops anyway...

hubby's taking off to indiana on sunday, buffalo on wednesday, then the same day to canada. Toronto to be exact. the plant he works @ is about to undergo a major overhaul & he's gotta check out all the new machines they will be bringing in.
i think i'm gonna suggest a "date night" friday for us. Lord knows we could use it!!!

have a good evening ya'll, i'm gonna go get some supper now!

A date night is defintely in order, merry!! I'm flying solo for a bit, too. Wanna come to Vegas, lol?!

Good evening, MMC friends. How is everyone doing? I'm well. I'm just getting ready to head to bed and take a nap before work.

Nothing is new here. Both kids have been so fussy today. They both have teeth coming in. I feel bad for them. I am sure it's very painful.

Well, I am off to bed. I will talk to you all tomorrow. Hope you all enjoy the rest of you're evening and you have a good day tomorrow!

Poor kiddos, hope they feel better soon, sugar. Have a great day, too!

Hey! And thanks, I did have a pretty good day. I just decided to watch Scrooged. I love Bill Murray and that is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies!

Just wanted to share with you all that today at Walmart I saw Christmas necklaces! They were on the front corner of the jewelry counter in their own little display case. They had candy canes, snowmen, santa and Christmas tree ones and they were all silver with a little red detail. They were so cute! Definitely would have bought one if I had the cash.

We love Scrooged too, Caroline!! =) It's a must see Christmas movie for my husband & I every season.

^^^^^^ "It's Christmas Eve! It's... it's the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we... we... we smile a little easier, we... w-w-we... we... we cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year, we are the people that we always hoped we would be!!" ~Frank Cross

^^^I always get teary eyed at that part!^^^ =)

What a cool Christmas find @ Walmart! I'll have to look & see if we have them here!!

Watching an episode of Cake Boss we recorded back in November, there is nothing but Christmas commercials on it. I'm loving it!

That's awesome, xmas!!
I've been enjoying the same with Christmas movies that I DVR'd, and never had a chance to watch. I just finished The Santa Suit

Good morning,

I have to go to work soon, blechhh! I really need to start looking for something else, I'm so burnt out on what I am doing, I never feel like I accomplish anything at my job anymore. Enough of that. It is a bright and sunny day here, but they are calling for rain tomorrow and Friday. Friday will be my wife and I's 10th Wedding anniversary, we will be celebrating it by taking JP to Cub Scouts, Saturday her parents will probably watch the boys so we can go out. I am going to try to put some pictures of our wedding on the computer so I can make an album of it soon. Big Game 7 tonight, of course I am going to miss most of it, but GO BRUINS!!!

I got to go call Comcast, so Have a great day!!!

Happy Anniversary to you guys!! Enjoy your celebrating this weekend!!

:sparkle:

Hola mi amigo's!!!!! It looks like it's going to be a stormy day here in central Indy. That's fine with me. I don't have anywhere to go. I think I'll just sit here and plan out my garden for this year. I also have to help my neighbor pack his van. He is going to his son's house in Michigan for a couple of weeks and then they are heading to Florida for a couple of weeks after that. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope your neighbor has safe travels and a nice time!

Morning! Just went for a jog with the kids (what a pain in the butt with the stroller and the sidewalks getting ripped up!) and took the kids to get bagels, their little treat for being good during our jog! I think we'll head to the park with the big pond later today and look for baby ducks! :)

Sounds like a lot fun!

Good Morning, MMC!!

Happy snowy_treesfrance2040.jpg Day
&
Happy rudolph.jpg Day!!!!!

Hope it's fun & Christmassy!!

See you tonight at our home away from home !!!! :)

Well, I hope you did better than you think!! :)

Good afternoon & Happy Pines Day, Happy Hump day, Happy Rudoph Day! Wew!! Looking forward to a fun day at the pines! I better get there soon - the day is slipping away!

I have to share - my niece stayed with us over the weekend (she's 20) - Saturday afternoon it was just her & I at home & she was in the shower bellowing "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas" 1st I thought what in the heck is she singing....then I cracked up! LOVE HER! And every day at some point since Saturday, I have found myself singing "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas..." So I have already had my 1st Chrsitmas Caroler of 2012!

I hope you are all having a great day!! See you at the Pines!

This is one of my favorites, too. Thanks for the link to the "rest of the story."

I know this may not interest some of you, but here is a story about the recording of one of my favorite Christmas songs. The real interesting part was how Roy made the studio feel Christmassy in August to record the song, and how the cash register sound in the beginning of the song is now the sample many use for sound effects, and how they got the right sound for it. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/289167/Roy-Wood-Santa-Claus-of-pop-music

Happy Early Anniversay to you guys!

Okay ... it's open season on the snowflakes afghan. The auction is up and running! Deadline for bids is two weeks from today, May 9th. If you have any questions, please send me a PM (rather than posting in the Countdown).

Oh, Jennifer. I, too, was expecting to see your pictures of snow. How disappointing. One Easter when I was in high school, a lot of us girls walked around town in our Easter finery. The sun was shining and it started to snow!!! It was so funny. Of course the snow didn't stick, but it was a rare treat. It is sort of like having it rain while the sun is shining. In the South, we say the devil is beating his wife.

Good morning, everyone! Happy Rudolph Day to you all :] Knowing that provides me with a little bit of morning cheer, even though I am pretty exhausted! At least we are to Wednesday, almost half of the work/school week is done!

I am up extra early this morning because I have to go to my college and take a final exam for my online class. Once I am done with the final, I am all done with the class! It will be a relief, I can finally have some time to myself and for my friends during the weekend.

Today it is going to be in the very low 60's, but I will doubt that we even reach that with how cold it has been. I just realized that I never addressed the snow! The meteorologists were calling for 12-16 inches originally. They kept dropping the amount until they said we might get only 4-6 inches. When I went to bed on Sunday night, I was pretty sure that I'd wake up to a hefty amount. The next morning, I got up in the middle of the night (when it was supposed to hit) and there was no snow on the ground. I assumed that it didn't hit yet. When I woke up the next morning we had no snow on the ground at all! I had to say I was surprised because I expected at least a couple of inches.

I was a little disappointed because it would have been nice to see some April snow and snap a few pictures before it melts. I guess it would have made for some messy travel, so I'll just have to wait until November to see snow again.

The only thing that I saw were some flurries and that didn't make for good pictures, lol!

I hope everyone has a good day at work/school and feels well, is stress free, and that the day goes by quickly. Talk to you all later :] Enjoy Rudolph Day!!

Keep you head and your spirits up. Hopefully you'll surprise yourself and you did better then what you where thinking.

LOL! How about Holiday of the Order Fagales or Christmas of the Order Fagales or some other order of the "nut"?

So is the politically correct term for Christmas Nut: Winter Season Celebration Steward? or Holiday Enthusiast? cheesy
